Love this mascara for good definition and no clumping. Gives a really good result and reasonably long lasting. Nice packaging aswell. Overall, happy with this purchase :)

The best everyday!

This mascara glides on my eyelashes so easily, it doesn't clump, and it is buildable. It is a personal favorite of mine that I use for my everyday lashes. It leaves quite a natural long lash look.

I find it lasts pretty well throughout the day. It does smudge on occasion but this is usually at work after I've been running around a lot.

The packaging is pretty standard to look at but it has some sort of narrowing inside the tube. The narrowing helps to ensure that the brush never has too much product on it. The brush is a nice shape and is super easy to use.

Tips: I can never do my bottom lashes without getting some product on my skin. I recommend having a cotton tip handy to wipe off the excess.

A nice natural mascara

This is a nice every day mascara for a natural look. It lengthens and defines the lashes while giving a bit of volume. Overall, a nice fanned out natural look to the lashes. I would recommend this for people who like a natural/no makeup-makeup look or for those just getting into makeup.

Not So Cat Eye.

I was super excited to try this as I am forever trying to make my eyes look more cat like.

The first thing that struck me upon using this was how small and thin the brush is. I'm not sure why but I thought it may have been larger.

The formula of the mascara is nice - it's super pigmented and it goes on fairly easily although I found it takes a little while to dry.

The brush is easy to use and I like that it separates my lashes. However, I found it didn't really live up to its claims of making your eyes more cat like...

Even when I applied three coats to the outer lashes it made them look nice but not really any different to any other mascara I use.

I do enjoy the packaging of this, I think it's cute and it is really easy to spot in my collection as the yellow is so vibrant.

In my opinion the price is too high for something that I feel performs the same as other (lesser priced) mascaras. I got this at a bucket sale so I am not miffed as it was cheap but if I were going to spend $32.95 I would rather buy Benefit's 'They're Real' (my fave mascara ever).

I won't be repurchasing this but I still have a lot left so I will finish the tube. I would recommend this if it were a lot cheaper and you wanted something that is a decent mascara. However, I don't feel it lives up to its claims and the price - in my opinion - is ridiculous when the performance is so average.

I have this in my pile of unopened mascaras...I got mine cheap to so if it's decent enough I'm happy :) The packaging is nice and bright and I love the print on the lid :D

Personally

I hated it. I was so excited because I'd seen so many Youtubers rave about it and I talked my mother into buying it for me, but I gave it to her after one use. Why? It make my eyelashes so HARD. They felt like they'd break at any second. Even after I removed it they remained brittle and it just felt really unpleasant. Absolutely wasn't worth the money for me.

I have been using Maybeline for years!

I personally havent tried many brands of mascara, if I remember correctly its only been a few Maybeline ones, a Loreal one and a MaxFactor one. I have been quite happy with the Maybeline range as I fall back to it everytime and I am currently using this one in conjunction with another at the moment and Im very happy with the results!

I find that this one, as well as the Collosal Volumizing one is great for creating plenty of volume in the lashes, it also makes your lashes nice and dark and I find that it creates great length to every individual lash.

One thing I find with this particualr mascara though is that the bristles on the comb can be a little bit rough if you are quite forcefull with the application because the bristles are not rubber they are more like the brisltes on a hairbrush or a teasing brush which I find has quite a scratchy feel to them. But the shape of the comb itself is great as it helps to push the lashes up creating a more "opened look" to your eyes.

I do find that with all the Maybeline mascaras I have tried they are quite watery at first, but once you have used them a couple of times it drys out to a better consistantcy. Just be mindful of this and persist with it :)

Tips: If you are new to using mascara be sure to take your time with it because at first your eye area is sensitve as mascara itself is quite a foreign thing for the eyes to have to handle. Also dont be suprised if you do poke yourself in the eye once, twice or maybe a few times!

Once you gain confidence with your technique start riggling the comb at the base of the lashes before sweeping it up towards the tips. This will help create volume at the base which will give the appearance of more lashes. Make sure you apply mascara ontop as well as underneath the lashes, this ensures that you get maximun coverage but be sure to finsh off underneath the lashes NOT on top. Last but not least (unfortunately this is what I find a lot of girls doing) is avoid pumping the comb in and out of the tube 5 to 10 times before you even use it. There is no need for you to do this, it is just increasing a bigger level of oxygen going into the tube and drying out the product sooner than what it usually would.

Good for dramatic looking lashes

I recently opened this (despite having far to many open already) because I was just in the mood to try something new and this caught my eye.

First of all I think the packaging is great. I love the leopard print on the lid and the bright yellow tube (great if your a makeup hoarder like me and need to be able to find it in the dark depths of your makeup draw haha).

The wand was a little weird to get used to I must say. I am used to the standard straight thick wand and this one rocks a funky curved (and quite thin) applicator. After a few goes I did get used to this and I think the design does help to separate the lashes well but doesn't give a more "cat eyed" look like promised, so I wouldn't recommend purchasing it for that reason alone. I do find the thinness of the brush makes getting the bottom lashes a bit easier though.

I was actually pretty happy with the results this gave me! I usually stick to very natural looking lashes and only apply very few coats even with a standard mascara. I find this gives my lashes great length with a couple of swipes and makes my lashes amazingly separated (just not voluminous at this point). The most recent time I used this I was going out at night so thought I would amp it up a bit and applied more coats. This definitely gave me very voluminous lashes (as well as lengthened) but just not as separated lashes as with less coats. I liked that despite the added coats it didn't clump terribly and my lashes only stuck together slightly (which usually happens anyway with added coats). The formula of this is super black and my tube wasn't as wet as I have found most maybelline mascara's to be, meaning it didn't get all over my top lid and ruin my eye-shadow (YAY!).

Overall, I think this is a pretty good mascara but I probably would not repurchase in store for the RRP (I got mine for far below that elsewhere) as it is still not my favourite.

Tips: Wriggle the brush at the base of the lashes to thicken from the base and keep lashes separated.
