MAC Pro Longwear Concealer Review

I don't know what what it is but this concealer isn't the best I have ever used. For some reason it just doesn't work for me and I'm unsure if Ive been colour matched wrong but It just doesn't conceal my blue under eye tones. Also as I am very sensitive around my eyes I find it hurts as I blend it out. I find you really need to blend it out a lot. I

I do however think its good at concealing around my nose area and when I have problem areas.

Its extremely good value for money I have had mine for over year now and its no wear near close to running out. I like how its in a pump bottle as I don't think concealers with a dofer are sanitary. However I find I always waste heaps as its hard to control the size of the pump.

When my bottle runs out I'm going to go get rematched and see if that is my issue.

Pro long wear is a staple product in most beauty gurus make up bags! And I just don't get it, it is thin with an odd texture that I can best describe as watery. It definitely doesn't even remotely conceal my cavernous dark under eye area, and I find it prone to creasing, even when set. The packaging as beautiful as it looks is impractical for travelling and I have seen many heartbreaking pics of broken vials. I also dislike the pump - far too much comes out, I waste so much of it! As much as it pains me I just can't think of anything positive to say about this product (and I'm such a Mac fan)

After hearing so much about this, I purchased it, and I must say i'm not overwhelmed. Its a good concealer, its just not amazing, I don't like the packaging, you cant get a small amount out, just a huge squirt which you ending up wasting, and the colour doesn't particularly match my skin tone either. I don't really understand what all the hype is about.

Used this for dark under eyes and t zone, Found it to be quite light when I wanted thick coverage The colour matches the mac foundation which is always great would like this product more if it was thicker in coverage as I didn't think it lasted very long either I found I was using 2xpumps just for under eyes and then I would have left over product on my brushes

I have a love hate relationship wit this product. Cons first - Only problem is the packaging. I don't like the glass packaging, Ive heard of a few people dropping it and the bottle smashing. It hasn't happened to me, thankfully! The pump is terrible, it squirts too much product out at once, and you have no control over how much comes out. Also I have mine laying down in my draw, so when I go to use it, I need to shake it for the product to come out, just a bit annoying if Im in a rush. Pros - Great for concealing under the eyes, I always set it with powder and it doesn't crease on me. You only need a small amount. It is a very creamy consistency, and easy to blend. I use a damp sponge to blend it out. Gives me great coverage, lasts at least 8 hours. Has a great range of shades including cool and warm tones to suit multiple skin tones. I have NC15, NC20 and NC30. I use the lightest shade NC15 to highlight the higher planes of my face. NC20 for my undereyes and the NC30 to cover any imperfections/discolourations/blemishes. Very lightweight. I don't reach for this concealer as often as some of my other concealers.

Very expensive for what it is- but then again I guess all MAC products are expensive. This product is not for me. As a concealer I need a lot of coverage because I have black freckles all around my lips. It find that for me it doesn't give good enough coverage and it doesn't stay on for long enough. I find that a cream type of concealer is a lot better for me. I found that it was a bit of a waste of my money.

I haven't been thrilled with this concealer. I have tried other MAC concealers in the past, but for some reason this isn't blending very nicely for me. Won't be buying it again :(

A friend tried this product on my skin as a makeup trial for my wedding makeup. It resulted in red blotches that stung for over a week later. I think the reaction scared me off the product a bit. I'm sure it's fine in general, but if you have fair, sensitive skin, be sure to use very soft brushes or sponges for blending and maybe test this product before applying it all over your face

after hearing all the fuss made over this i went and brought it, and it SUCKS! the formula is quite thin and doesn't have much coverage, it creases so bad under the eye and the packaging in my eyes is cheap feeling

i have dry to normal skin i now use the la girl pro hd concealer for $2 off beauty joint and it is 100x better than this x
