I've bought this product a few times and have been relatively happy every time I've used it.
It comes in quite a large bottle which means it lasts aaaagges (I'm sure my first one lasted a year!) and has such a handy nozzle spray! It's ease of use is one of my favourite things as you can use a light spray and it doesn't make your hair heavy or greasy like some creams do that you have to use your hands to run through your hair.
The actual product smells lovely and light. Sweet smelling without being overpowering and it fades in time. And while it seems to do its job protecting the hair from heat, I don't particularly think it makes my hair any softer or easier to style like it claims.
Ill keep buying and using it as it often goes on sale at supermarkets and is really value for money. It does protect my hair from damage and as somebody who has thick hair prone to damage that's really the most important thing to me.
This is an affordable, easy to access heat protectant spray that can be picked up at the supermarket. This is why I picked up this product myself - a daily user of heat on my hair.
The bottle is bulky and not travel friendly, however this is a product I would skip when on holiday anyway. Two or three pumps should be sprayed over the hair before applying heat (blowdrying or straightening). Sounds simple? It's not. When I used this product, it sprayed everywhere. Well, everywhere but my hair. It landed in splotches/patches on my hair, but most of it ended up on the ground, mirror or my clothing. The nozzle is crazy! I ran it under hot water and cleared it with a cloth in case it was blocked, but that didn't solve the issue. I tried spraying it closer, and further away from the hair, before playing around with it outside to see if I could tame it's craziness.
Ultimately, I was left with concentrated patches of product that were sticky and crispy, and a messy mirror and floor. This product is far too much hassle for me to continue to use in my haircare routine, although it does seem to be an isolated issue.
Tips: Try it out at a friends place if they have a bottle.
