I was super excited to try this entire range and more so this product to see if it was up to par with my current oil (Wella System Professional Luxe Oil). I was that excited to try it I opened it up and used some on the way home. My partner was horrified as the smell of this product was really overpowering. Needless to say he didn't like it every time I have use it since. It doesn't smell like coconut like the rest of the range which is slightly disappointing. The bottle would last a while as a little goes a long way. The product it self is not to heavy on the hair. The product packaging is very good as it seems to be inside a thick glass bottle - which is good any accidents dropping the product. Another cool thing is that this product and the entire range are easily attainable as they are in Farmers, Supermarkets etc. Would I recommend this to a friend, sure if they would like something easy to grab at the store. Otherwise no just because of the off putting smell.

Loved this but then didn’t, again like the shampoo you didn’t need to use much and it went through my hair easy. I think it had the right amount of moisturisation for me and the smell was amazing!! It washed out fine and my hair felt soft and not dry. But a day later my hair was a lot greasier than normal and I had so much dandruff, tonight I had to wash my hair with head and shoulders!
Ahampoo is like a detergent on my hair, actually not good. The conditioner isn't conditioning enough for my dry hair and the oil wasn't anything that special.
The L’Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil Coconut Regime overall was good. When individually compared, it is the shampoo and conditioner that let down the regime for me, particularly the shampoo. This is why:
All the L’Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil Coconut Regime products match each other with the packaging and label designs. The main advertising claim is that the products nourish your hair without weighing it down, whilst being best for normal to dry hair. Everything except the shampoo is consistent with this claim and works effectively. Although the products all have secure lids, they are relatively big containers and wouldn't be appropriate for travelling without adding a lot of weight to your luggage (>1kg). Also be careful with the oil, as a simple twist and the lock of the pump will come undone and could leak through your bag if you are taking it anywhere.
In terms of the regime, it doesn't have to take up much time. As I get ready for my showers I apply the mask to my dry hair and let it soak in for 5 minutes, then I use the shampoo and conditioner as per usual and after my shower when brushing my hair I quickly massage through a small amount of the oil. Realistically, this could easily become an easy addition to anyone's hair care routine.
At $47.96 for all four products, this is not really an option for someone trying to budget. When it comes to basics, shampoo and conditioner are essential, but the best two products of the regime being the mask and oil wouldn't be considered necessities in the standard grocery shop.
My hair has felt much softer from using the regime and appears to be in much better condition. I really love how the mask works so effectively to soften hair and free it all knots.
The stand out product of the regime would definitely be the hair mask, whilst the shampoo is the weakest link.
Would I recommend this? If you can afford it, it is definitely a lovely regime when all 4 products are combined. However, I would try using a different shampoo if you have the same negative impact I had with the shampoo (knotty, dry mass that does not leave your hair feeling healthy).
My review is of four products, Elvive Extraordinary Oil (Fine Coconut Oil) Shampoo, Conditioner, Hair Oil and 1001 Users Mask.
My hair is short, fine, limp and dry. I wash my hair at least 3 times a week as I swim in chlorine and this definitely adds to the dryness and frizziness. On receiving the 4 Elvive products I was impressed with how large they were containing 325mls. The look of the package is not as important as functionality for me. I need the bottles to stay closed in my gym bag whilst traveling between home and pools, which both the shampoo and conditioner does, you just ensure you hear the little click when you push the lid down.
In summary of the individual product reviews I found using a combination of Shampoo, Conditioner and Hair Oil the result I am seeing so far is non frizzy actually shiny healthy looking hair. As stated earlier I will continue to use these products till the end of the bottles to see if the effects I am currently getting continues. If they do then I will purchase more of the Elvive products as I am very happy with the current results. I do not feel I will be using the 1001 Users Mask as much however, other people may find using the 1001 Mask and not the Hair Oil a better combination perhaps, depending on hair condition etc, I think buying and using all four products together would be a bit of an overkill.
Tips: Use very small amounts to get great results. Try different product combinations to get the best outcomes
The L’Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil Coconut Hair Regime is a great package if you have normal to dry hair. The scent is pleasant and not at all overpowering.
All the formulation is gentle and moisturising. Don't expect any of these products to repair damaged hair but it is a great range for the price point.
Tips: Some of the products need more than one application but the results are pretty good.
I really liked this shampoo conditioner combo! The smell was a big win for me! I love a coconut scent to wash my hair and a smell that tends to last! I found my hair was a little more oily after less time when I compare this to other products I have used! Just not quite conditioning enough for my hair type, but the smell/scent is devine, coconut scent is delicious!!
This all really helped my dry, frizzy, and dull hair. Making it much easier to manage my fair making it soft, shiny, curly, and hydrated.

I have been using all the products for past 6 days and have been really impressed with the results. Hair is so soft and smooth and I have to say it looks “extraordinary”.
All the products come in generous sized bottles and tubs and is really good value for money. And really affordable.
The shampoo and conditioner give a good clean feel. For extra deep conditioning this hair mask is the best and left my hair tangle free after each and every use. The best is the hair oil, non greasy and does the job really well without giving the oily feel or look. To top it all, these products smell sooo good. I’d definitely recommend this product range.

Over all I was reasonably happy with the products ,some were better than others ,I preferred just the shampoo and conditioner . The oil and mask didn’t really do that much for my hair and it was still quite dry between washes,however nice and soft and bouncy when used ,but although didn’t exactly weigh my hair down was lacking in body ,and seemed finer than when I use my usual product . The retail price is good ,and relatively inexpensive so I wouldn’t really expect these to be amazing ,but like most L’Oréal products it delivers quite well in most areas . I just found the fragrance not really to my liking ,it actually made me feel a bit squeamish ,so probably not for me . An interesting trial and I had high hopes as have been searching for a while to find something to alleviate my dry hair problems ,alas not quite there yet.
