L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Fibralogy Double Serum Review

I love the Fibralogy shampoo and conditioner, but wasn't overly exited about adding the serum because I know that most hair serums are too heavy for my very fine hair. My hair looks greasy very easily when I apply serum, even when it is freshly washed. This product added shine without being too heavy and it didn't make my hair look greasy. I find it good especially on the hair ends and I have applied it with very good results on damp and dry hair. I haven't really noticed that my hair look fuller, but it makes my hair shinier and softer. The product has a nice, soft smell. The packaging is eye catching and modern and the pump works beautifully. Very reasonably priced for what is on offer. I will buy this again!

I received this product to trial out for Beauty Review. The packaging is very eye catching as it was in a blue/pink box which was also quite shiny. Although I do not usually use a hair serum as I find them to weigh my hair down and be quite heavy. However I was not hesitant in trying this out as this Fibralogy range is targeted for people with fine hair and are looking for thickness. I love the concept about it being a double serum and two pumps of this serum gives the perfect amount to run down the lengths of my hair. This serum can be used on both dry and wet hair. I applied it after I washed my hair and also on second day hair. I found that it worked very well in thickening my hair and giving it more fullness. It also leaves my hair soft and shiny. The fragrance is very lovely and doesn't smell very strong. It's at a very affordable price.

I would definitely pick this double serum up if I were browsing the aisles, as it packaged in an eyecatching blue and pink box. The fragrance is very subtle and pretty, which I love! However, the product itself gave me varying results. I found that if I put 3 - 4 x 10 cent size pumps of this throughout my shoulder length hair and then blow dried it, I got a lot of shine and bit of volume, but mostly on the ends (even though I worked the product through from roots to tips). Unfortunately, after a few hours though the volume dropped, and I was left with flat (but also very smooth and shiny) hair. To be honest, I would have loved to try just the thickening lotion, as serums tend to have a flattening effect on my hair. Overall, it is a nice looking and smelling product and it does do what it says, but the results were not long lasting for me. Gorgeous fragrance, easy to use , smoother hair but thicker I cant say I noticed any difference. The first few days I applies the product to towel dried hair it definitely smoothed my hair without being heavy and weighing it down which was a plus. I then started applying after hair was dried which again was easy to use soaks into the hair nicely without being greasy, but I have not noticed my hair feeling any thicker at all so I wouldn't buy this product if thickening was my main focus or priority.

I wasn't exceptionally Impressed with this product, although it had its merits. It left my just washed, just straightened hair feeling silky and left a nice shine, but it did not make my hair appear fuller, I had followed the instructions and tousled it through my hair for acheived fullness but alas it did no such thing. I will continue to use this though because it does make my hair shinier. Extra points for an easy to use pump that doesn't jam

I love this. The primary concern I have with my hair is a lack of volume at the roots, which makes my hair look limp minutes after styling. After using this Elvive serum I saw immediate results, with my hair looking volumous, thicker, shiny and smelling great. My partner commented that my hair looked like it had been professionally styled, even though I had simply applied the product and blow dried, which makes it great for people who are pressed for time in the mornings but want to look put together. Furthermore, it did not look or feel like I was wearing any product in my hair, which is very rare when it comes to volume enhancers. I am incredibly happy with the product and think it is sure to become a regular part of my morning routine!

_ Packaging: Very nice, cute, sleek and handy. I love that it come in 2 type of serum and when you pump it, you mix it together. Love the pink color, feel so girly. _ Smell: Lovely smell and not very strong. I also quite like the smell. _ Result: AMAZING. This double serum leaves my hair soft, shiny, get in shape easily, and extra volume. Everything that i would ask for. Im very happy with the product. It doesnt leave a greasy, or making your hair tough/hard like other products. I feel like i have nothing on but the texture of my hair is so much better, cant stop touching it.

Dont apply too close to the root or you may get the greasy. If you do it can be fixed with hair drier. And put your hair up side down when you apply the serum will give it extra volume.
