I was intrigued by this straightening brush as I thought it may make it quicker for me to style my thick mane in the morning.
I have used some VS Sassoon products in the past and this tool looked like it used great technology and would work well for my hair.
It does look luxurious and so stylish. I love the black teamed with silver. The name ‘Diamond Luxe’ really suited the product.
The smaller size makes it compact and easy to hold.
In terms of smoothing my hair it worked to tame the frizziness and smooth it down. However I wouldn’t say it worked well in terms of straightening my hair like a straightener would.it was rather disappointing.
So overall a nice brush, but not a fantastic straightening tool- leave that to the GHDs or Cloud 9.
I wish I'd continued to save my dollars and just wait for a high quality hair straightener. But I thought, given how fine my hair is, that this might be an affordable alternative to a hair straightener. The advantages are the price of course and the travel-friendly size and plug. However, if you're after actual hair straightening, and you have quite wild hair, then this isn't for you. It is helpful at getting rid of some of the frizz, and does a bit of hair taming, but sadly leaves way too many kinks and curls.
