The InStyler does work, but it's in no way my favourite tool to use. I feel like the bristles don't do much other than pull out my hair. I notice more damage when the barrel is rotating against the grain of my hair so I avoid this every time. I've never been able to manage a curl with this, but I can make nice flicks at the ends of my hair! Unfortunately I don't like how that looks on me

soft and natural..
When i first used the Instyler I didnt think it worked on my hair because my hair is very thick and coarse, so I went back to using my remington hair straightner. I've always used straightners from many different brands but remington always did the job quite well. I then moved to New Zealand from Australia without my hair straightner and so I went back to using the Instyler. Im not quite sure why but after using it again I felt as though it worked better on my hair. It left it feeling softer and straighter and it didnt burn my hair like most straightners can. I use this for my hair now. I didnt think that it was worth the money i bought it for but now I use it more and have changed my mind about straightners. my hair feels more natural as well after using the Instyler. It does take a while for me to straighten my hair with the Instyler but i prefer taking my time with this rather than burning the heck out of my hair with a straightner.

after purchase i would use it on everyone elses hair as they had finer hair than mine, it definately worked for, also doing the curls worked, tried it on my own hair did pretty good considering i have long thick hair, and it doesn't leave that burnt smell like most straightners do.

doesnt work on big hair
i have very frizzy and wavy hair and i found that it didnt really do what it said it would. my hair felt dry and brittle after i used it

works, but not my favourite
When trying this for the first time I loved the results but after using it for a few weeks I noticed my hair started to become dry and dull so I went back to using my straightener and haven't picked up my instyler since. Disappointed.

Not the best
When I first got this I got it as a Christmas present, I thought that it would be fun and easy, but it honestly ripped out and damaged more hair then it straightened or curled, it wasn't my favorite at all, I honestly wouldn't recommend it.
Tips: Don't waste your money.

This sucks ! I always wanted one and then when I tried it it ripped out my hair, make it all dry, it was to damn noisey for just a straightener and I found it didn't even make my hair very straight or the curls would just fall out of place when I used it. It took to long to use and I'd just recommend using a normal straightener. And for more than 100 dollars this is not even worth looking at !

okay is it just me or is this hairstyling tool really noisey..??? I found that it did an average job of straighning my hair and the noise was way too distracting,

Omg i love love love the instyler It dont flatten hair like hair irons I love the shine you get from the rotating cylinder u can have straight or bouncy curls and the shine Omg i just love And you dont need any products I will always love instyler more than a ghd

To start off I have fine hair almost down to my waist with a slight kink in it. Also my hair is dry and frizzy on some days.It is, quite possibly, the WORST styling tool i have ever used. The bristles on the brush are so short and have so little "hold" to them that they will do nothing to straighten your hair...that is the start of the problems...a quility blow dry with a round or flat brush, requires a quality (or decent quality) brush in order for it to look right...especially for us curly haired gals...this brush does NOTHING for that..they are nylon bristles, i believe, and all nylon does to curly hair is frizz it up.
Cutting to the chase...when i was done...the end of my hair looked fried (thank god just looked fried, but weren't actually that damaged)...and it did manage to pull out a good amount of hair...so not ok!....I had to go back over my whole head multiple times with a round brush/blow dryer to get it straight...
For the price, this is beyond a waste of money...invest in a quality brush and blowdryer or a a quality straightener, and I promise, you will have better results.
The infomercial is VERY, VERY decieving. I am very dissapointed.
