L’Oréal Paris Botanicals Fresh Care with Coriander Conditioner Review

I was super excited when this product arrived on the shelves. I use it in conjunction with the shampoo of the same range and the results are amazing.

It comes in a tube which sits on its flip lid so it is easily dispensed. It is white in colour and thick and luscious and has the most amazing scent of Coriander. I thought it was an unusual thing to put into a shampoo and conditioner but for me it works a real treat. I massage it into my hair and leave for a couple of minutes then rinse out.

I dry my hair on a warm heat it it is beautifully shiny and soft and smelling gorgeous.

L'Oreal Paris as a company is embracing the world wide need to reuse and recycle and the packaging of this range of products is made from recycled materials and you are able to recycle the packaging after you have finished.

Omg...i love love love this stuff. White in colour, & thick in consistency, this balm is more like a treatment than a conditioner. With the same spicy scent as the shampoo (not a fan of patchouli), i am pleased that the scent doesn't linger. I use about a 50 cent size to condition my lengths and use the leftover for my head. My hair is condtioned and feels really great.

Wow, this is a great range! Nice eco conscious packaging and natural ingredients. The smell was different, a little masculine I thought, but it is subtle and fresh. I definitely would use this conditioner only with the other products in the range to get full benefits otherwise on its own I think it would be lacking in achieving the strenghtning and softness as the end result. I was lucky to trial the complete care package and can report it met all expectations - THANKS BR! The only negative I have is that it doesn't performs very well if you intend to heat style your hair. I found when I tried to straighten my hair my hair just frizzled and took a lot longer with twice as much fuss to try and get it to do what I wanted. But I guess that's not the point of repairing and strengthening your hair.

If your committed to restoring the condition of your hair throw out your heat styling products and replace your regime with this coriander range. My hair usually takes the usual shampoo cond routine and then a ton of products to calm the frizz, maintain manageability and give the feel and appearance of softness. When using the shampoo, cond and leave in serum of this range I had no need to use anything else. My hair was soft, nourished, minimal frizz and completely manageable.

I would definitely recommend this product range for those who want to restore their locks, busy people who don't have the time in their morning routines to fuss about, and those wanting a simple yet effective regime that is eco friendly and natural!

I was really excited to be chosen to trial the shampoo, conditioner, and leave-in treatment from this range. My colour and heat treated hair is in need of some extra love so I take whatever I can get that will help it out. I’m usually a supermarket shampoo/conditioner girl so trying something from L’Oreal which is in that next price bracket up is a bit of a treat.

I really like the packaging of this range. The brown color on the packaging remind me of older style apothecary bottles that you would find in a pharmacy – but being completely made out of recycled materials (other than the dye) means it has that modern twist. I like the squeezy tube that this comes in, and as the product is quite thick you can dispense exactly how much you need.

The scent of this isn’t something I’m a big fan of. I find it interesting that they decided to go with coriander given that some people are genetically disposed to hate it (it tastes like soap to some people). Luckily I’m not one of those people, and I adore coriander usually. Unfortunately though the herbally scent really doesn’t do it for me and smells a wee bit too strong – a wee bit like a medication rather than a spa experience I wanted. I really liked how thick the conditioner is, it made it feel like it was really doing something to my hair. Almost like a treatment. My hair felt really soft after using this, but not in a slippery way that some silicone laced products can make your hair feel.

I don’t know if I would purchase this particular product again, but I am certainly interested in the rest of this range and will keep an eye out for it (when it is on special that is).

Continuing with the theme of the fabulous, eco-friendly packaging, this conditioner packs an extra punch in its performance. After smelling the shampoo, I knew that I wouldn't repurchase it; however, the conditioner is so effective that I am willing to take a deep breath before applying and ignore the coriander scent. Referring to it as a conditioner doesn't do it justice - it is actually labelled as a conditioning balm. It is as luxurious as it sounds - thick, creamy and repairing. It sits in place and works it's magic when applied, and leaves behind smooth, conditioned hair when washed out. Because it sits so firmly in my hair, I find that I can apply a lot less product than I usually would with conditioner.

I have previously used separate treatments and balms; however, this could quite possibly replace those, particularly if I leave it on a little longer when my hair needs an extra boost.

I will consider repurchasing this product, although if there is a sweeter smelling, similar product in the range then I would ditch the coriander pretty quickly.

I was probably most impressed with the conditioner from the range of coriander products from this line. I was actually shocked after using it!

The consistency is like a white balmy treatment more than a typical conditioner. It's quite thick, and when I noticed that for the first time I knew it would be good. You don't need to use much, it spreads out quite well and covers a good amount of hair.

As I was rinsing it out I wondered why it wasn't all coming out - my hair was so silky that I just assumed it was the conditioner still in my hair. But it was actually my hair! It felt amazing, very light and floaty. Even though the consistency was thick, it didn't weigh down my hair (a bonus of being silicon free) and actually felt like it nourished my hair, instead of feeling like it was just coated with product.

When I dried my hair and brushed it, it didn't tug like it usually does. It was extremely smooth. Also, it made my hair so soft! I kept touching my hair because I was amazed at how good it felt

I didn't expect to love a conditioner this much, but this one is definitely the best I've ever used. I will repurchase after this one runs out for sure! If you have damaged hair thus is definitely worth a try - it will help your hair to heal and not just coat it in a layer of silicon.

Ive used this product for a week now, along with the Shampoo and Strength potion and the results are amazing! The end half of my hair looks so much healthier! At the beginning of using this product it was so dry, quite fluffy and would easily break - but after using this product my ends especially look so much healthier - even my partner commented on it (which is a rare occasion). I would recommend pairing it up with the shampoo as I have found my results to be outstanding. I found that I had to use a little more product than normal, but the results its given, im more than happy to spend that extra cash.

This is the best and most nourishing conditioner I have used! It makes my hair feel so amazing and silky. My hair is pretty damaged from a few years of being awful to it with bleach and dye so i usually just have to smoother it with conditioner and hope for the best but with this its almost like putting a treatment through my hair not just a conditioner. The health of my hair has improved 100% in less than two weeks. I cant find any faults with this product. I and my hair are in love and the fragrance is amazing as well. I would recommend this range to everyone.

I have used this product for the last week in conjunction with the shampoo. Whilst I wasn't overly impressed with the shampoo I did quite like the conditioner.

As with the shampoo I was quite concerned about the coriander aspect of this product however the smell wasn't as overwhelming as I thought it might have been.

When using the shampoo I felt my hair looked quite greasy on the top half but the bottom where the conditioner was added look fine and healthy. It was easy to apply and wash out.

I would continue to use the conditioner on a regular basis but will be trying it with other shampoos to see if I can get better results.

This conditioning balm had me as soon as I squeezed the first bit out. The scent was absolutely gorgeous and I was so stoked to finally have a product which I felt would reinvigorate my hair and restore it to it's natural beauty.

I have being bleaching my hair for years now and I have just decided to stop as I was worried about the damage it was doing. This conditioning balm made my hair so much stronger and smoother and I have noticed that the amount of hair in my brush has halved.

I used this product in conjunction with the shampoo for about over a week and I would definitely recommend this conditioning balm to friends.
