L'Oreal Paris ELVIVE Extraordinary Clay Conditioner Review

I can't get enough of the iridescent mermaid packaging. The only thing they could have done better was put the range in tail shaped bottles. (You can totally use that idea L'Oreal, it's all yours!)

Its a great conditioner, fresh smelling like the shampoo, and the scent lasts the day which I personally like. I used maybe a $2 coin size amount, my hair is in a bob, I felt this was plenty. So for the cost of the product it's relatively economical.

My bleached hair definitely felt hydrated after use, and I didn't actively avoid putting it near my roots - they weren't weighed down in the slightest.

My hair was easy to style and manageable after. Soft but not too soft and no sign of frizz.

All up - a great, affordable conditioner.

I usually don't pay to much attention to my conditioner as I usually just want something that will help detangle my hair after I wash it and leave it feeling pretty smooth. I've found most conditioners do this and so expected this one to do the same. What I really like about this is that it is silicone free which I guess does help my hair not feel heavy and clunky. I really love the smell and it's a nice texture so can't really complain. I'm not saying it's amazing and I couldn't live without it though which is why it's only getting 4 stars. I think what would make it amazing if it was different to other conditioners I've used and I guess if you have really really dry ends then this would be amazing but I've found that other conditioners do a pretty decent job at helping my ends feel healthy.

Yes! This is a new must have! I love it. It smells amazing and I LOVE that it is specifically formulated for oily hair.

It does what it says it does, but you do need to read the bottle. It states you should focus on the ends and middle lengths of your hair. I gave a quick swipe over the roots and really went to down with the mids and ends.

It's conditioning without weighing down my hair, and left it super silky and smooth, without the grease that I was used to.

I was impressed by the consistency of this product and it smells really nice with a natural feel. I use this after using the shampoo and leave it on for about 3-5mins so my hair can absorb the product well. This works wonders because it really made my hair so smooth and manageable, it really did hydrate my ends which I really like because I have really dry ends because of hair coloring.

The only downside of this product was the effect on my scalp, I had dandruff because of this. Maybe there's something I'm doing wrong or the product doesn't suit me that much? It can also be that I accidentally didn't wash it well? I tried this product again today and I tried not putting any conditioner on my roots and I think that is better. Any thoughts? Am I the only one who experienced this?

This conditioner smells great and is easy to apply. It complements the Loreal Clay hair care range and works well with the shampoo, to give voluminous, bouncy, light and fresh hair. After Shampoo, I would recommend applying a generous amount to your hair, focusing on the roots and leaving for 2-3mins before washing off for silky, smooth and manageable hair.

I got all four items from the line to trial and out of them I like this conditioner the most.

Its smell is similar to the shampoo, and the fragrance is perfect for a hair care line. It's not muddy as you might expect with the clay theme, but a nice unobtrusive fragrance. This really does what it claimed, and met all my expectations. Only a small amount was needed, and after rinsing it off my hair and scalp felt moisturised and soft without the slippery conditioner feel. My hair was light when dry, and looked nice and shiny in the light.

I always have to be careful with conditioners because if I use too much sometimes they make my scalp feel heavy and 'clogged up'. But this was perfect. It conditioned my hair just as I wanted without weighing it down. And together with the other products, I can last about three days depending on my activity without having to wash my hair again.

I currently have short hair so tangles aren't that much of a problem, but using this conditioner I can literally run my fingers through my hair in the morning and be ready to go.

I love this conditioner. It felt so nice and silky to use, rinsed easily and made my hair so luscious. Normally I have to wash my hair daily at a push and a mum bun I can go two days, but otherwise my roots look oily and feel yuck. With this range I easily went three days with no oil in sight. It was great. The only things I didn't like was the fact that the shampoo and conditioner bottles look the same so you have to pick them up and read them to make sure you are using the right product. I also wasn't a fan of the smell, I like my shampoo and conditioner to smell yummy but it smells like clay mixed with hair dye. I will still definitely be using these as my hair is so awesome using it.

I like this conditioner! It's in a nice, easy to use bottle - but looks almost identical to the shampoo, so be careful which one you're using!

I love the scent of this, and the way it applies. It's smooths out and spreads easily. It makes my hair feel silky, smooth and healthy! My hair is definitely less oily around the roots, and my ends are nourished.

It didn't weigh my hair down, which most conditioners tend to do. I really do like this conditioner, and would recommend and repurchase!
