L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Smooth Intense Conditioner Review

I have long, fine, dark hair with damaged ends & roots that are oily by the next day. Sigh. My hair is lucky if It gets styled every 3months as I'm more of a clean & go kinda girl & the plain jane style is my go to. I rarely buy supermarket products for my hair as I prefer to be a tad snobby & use well known salon brands. All in all I must say I am rather enjoyed using L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Smooth Intense Conditioner. The texture of the condition is quite light & at first had me worried that it wouldn't give me the quenching/ moisturising feeling that I like to get from a conditioner. after I applied a decent amount, letting it sit for up to a minute & then rising out well, I was impressed. While my hair was still wet it felt smooth but didn't have any residue. After air drying I was even more impressed, it managed not to weigh down the rare volume in my roots that the shampoo had achieved & I seemed to have a lot less frizz in my ends than normal. The glossy, healthy hair look was also a bonus. I like the idea that it has heat protectant qualities in the products, I'm not sure if it does work as I think it would take a lot of repetitive use & heat styling to test it. I liked this product and will be taking it with me into defence force training as I trust it to do what a conditioner should do with out causing my hair to be overly flat & greasy when used on a daily basis plus its great value.

My hair is thick thick thick, and boofy/frizzy. Sadly, this product didn't leave my fro feeling nourished and it didn't calm my frizzys either. I have since bought a different L'oreal Paris Elvive shampoo/conditioner and that one did improve the condition of my hair mildly so I think this one just wasn't right for my hair type, despite me thinking it would be perfect. I think I was hoping for a miracle product lol. I love the packaging - looks classy. And the scent is nice too :)

Great product. I washed and let my hair dry naturally it was less frizzy than it usually is. It also left my hair smelling delish! Will definitely be buying this product again.

I loved this product, it did exactly what it said it would on the bottle, it nourished my hair and calmed the frizz giving it lasting smoothness. I used the shampoo in conjunction with the conditioner and could not have been happier with the result. The conditioner itself is thick and creamy, the perfect consistency to remain in your hands whilst in the shower. It was easy to apply, smelled delightful and you only need a small amount to achieve good coverage and for your hair to feel well nourished, making it a very economic choice compared to some other supermarket brands. I have lots of fine flyaway shoulder length curly hair, when I just used the shampoo and conditioner with no other additional product and left my hair to air dry it felt soft and shiny and I was impressed at the control over the curls which have a tendency to go a little frizzy at the ends, with this product this was minimal. Brushing my hair while wet and leaving it to air dry had even better results with the smoothest result I have ever achieved without the use of additional styling creams. When straightening my hair I did use an additional argan oil product to aid with styling but once again the results were fantastic with fewer fly aways and a great smooth result that lasted until the next wash. The packaging is spot on, not too bulky, clearly labelled and in an appealing colour. After using this product for the duration of the trial I am hooked, my hair feels, looks and smells amazing, I would happily recommend this product to a friend and particularly anyone with a similar hair type to mine. Great job L’oreal, this product is also a definite winner in my book.

This is amazing for my long thick frizzy wavy hair! Paired with the smooth intense shampoo it works a treat and i dont wash the conditioner out thoroughly i just five it a quick rinse and thats it. It leaves my hair looking smooth as and nicely conditioned. I have wavy dry thick frizzy hair so this didnt change my natural hair BUT when i straighten it, its perfect!! I would use this again and again! Need a bigger bottle though. Love these products thankyou beauty review ♡

Leaves hair light and easy to manage. Seems to be protecting my colour well too. Smells nice and I didn't get any frizz in my hair even on second day when I hadn't washed it.

this one works well with or with out the matching shampoo. this is what really nourished my hair, and I would defiantly use again. I have really frizzy hair so I was super happy this worked, some parts of my hair were still abit frizzy but with a tiny bit of product it looked like the rest and did stay for most of the 48hrs.

I applied to do this trial my hair is starting to feel dry and im not sure if its because of winter taking its toll.. I am happy to say that my I absolutely loved this product. I have now been using it for almost 3 weeks and we could see the results in the second week. I always used to wash her everyday because of trying to use leave in conditioners in my hair, but now I am happy to be able to wash it every two days now. My hair looks and feels so much softer and smells so good. I have given L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Smooth Intense Conditioner a rating of 5/5, the only problem that I need to use a bit more of the product than I usually do, but I LOVES it. Overall its a great, smells good, does a good job and best of all affordable. I think I have found my new Hair range.

Really good product does what it says it does. I have really oily hair and didn't do much for me as I felt like I had to wash my hair a lot. Apart from that it leaves you hair really nice after you've showered. And the argan oil leaves it super silky

The packaging was not as lovely as the shampoo's but the product didn't disappoint. While I only noticed a small reduction in frizziness, I noticed a huge amount of extra body in my hair which was lovely. The product smells nice - not overpowering and it was easy to smooth through my hair.
