L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Fibralogy Conditioner Review

I will say I was super excited to try this product out. I find my hair is quite thin on the top of my head, I have thin - wavy/curly/frizzy hair type. I received this conditioner along with the shampoo as part o the trial team, and upon my first few run ins with the shampoo and conditioner I felt they were working. I honestly felt that mohair was getting thicker, and then slowly it seemed not. After continuing use with both it seems my hair has gone back to its ways. Mixed reviews on my end, but I am going to continue to use to see if any changes do occur. The scent is very nice, and I can honestly say before receiving these trials I was going to purchase these products from my local supermarket because of my issue with my thin hair and because they are not expensive-quite decently priced I think. After testing I think my real let down was that I felt the conditioner did not make my hair feel really soft the way other conditioners make my hair feel. For the Conditioner I properly would not recommend, but in saying that everyone has different experiences and it may work well for some one else.

Beautiful, rich conditioner with a really nice, gentle scent. Normally I wouldn't take my conditioner all the way to my scalp as my hair becomes a bit limp, but as this product increases the size of the hair shaft I found taking it right to my scalp gave me more volume on the top of my head and made my hair look less sparse up there.

I accepted a long time ago that I am never going to have the thick curly hair that I dreamed of as a young girl instead of the fine brown hair that genetics actually gave me. Believe me when I say that I have tried everything under the sun!

Upon unwrapping the box containing L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Fibrology Conditioner, then reading through the instructions on the back of the bottle I was happy to see that the use of this product is uncomplicated! Just pour some on your hand and use it as you would any other conditioner. It smells nice, more of a pleasant smell than of a perfume one. The texture is good too and you probably don't need to use as much as I do but I am a bit liberal with my usage so found myself having to visit the supermarket today after managing to finish the original bottle in less than 3 weeks! And the price? I found it for $3.89 on the supermarket shelf! Wow!

But does it actually work? Did it provide a visible difference to the thickness of my hair? I am not sure at this price range that you can expect Fibrology to do this on its own. It made my hair feel silky but even after a few days use I couldn't see a difference when using it on its own. However I find that nothing comes easy when you have fine hair so I continue to have to use a variety of products to layer up my hair and create the desired effect - more hair than I actually have!

Would I use it again - Yipe! At that price, why not? When you have fine hair like mine then every bit has to help doesn't it?

the first time I used this I wasn't to impressed as it left my hair feeling dry. after a second use I could feel my hair becoming a bit thicker as I have very fine hair. I used an argan oil on the ends of my hair but I would be very interested in pairing this with the treatment they have available in this range.

I trialled this conditioner in combo with the Fibralogy shampoo. Loved them both! Eye-catching and smart-looking packaging, yummy smell and a little conditioner went a long way. My hair is long and prone to the frizzies, along with a scalp and fringe that need to be washed every second day. I found the conditioner kept my locks tangle free without weighting them down like some conditioners. Frizz didn't completely disappear but hair was definitely more manageable and had more volume. Great price for what you get....will definitely buy again.

I have fine curly hair. I was so happy to be able to trial this conditioner out with the shampoo because I think my hair really needs it!

I'm definitely happy to use this conditioner. The price is great, it smells good and I like the packaging! ! (I love packaging )

Using it together with the shampoo worked out really well. I noticed less hair in the shower so im hoping its from the use! The shampoo was a bit drying so I really like using this conditioner after.

I will continue to use it even if I was to stop with the shampoo because I really like how nice it made my feel after too :)

I have been reading the comments below and I seem to see a trend in girls with naturally fine hair not achieving any results from using this product in combination with the shampoo. I realise I fall in the same category unfortunately, apart from the great smell and the fresh feel of my hair after washing, I didn't notice any difference unfortunately and I, too, was very excited about trialling this product and seeing results. I guess as with anything, it is a matter of trying it out because I see that it works wonderfully for some people and for some like me, it just doesn't. So if you are reading this comment and unsure of what to do, I would suggest to give it a go as you won't have anything to lose! Perhaps if I use it for a longer period of time I might see a difference but consumers usually expect to see results pretty fast otherwise nothing is stopping them from moving on to something else. So give it a try as it might just be for you!

Like the shampoo this conditioner is a great product and works well for my very fine hair, I found it better to use every second wash due to the fact it was a little drying on my hair. Nothing a straightener and serum couldn't fix!! It has a pleasant scent and an attractive bottle. I would use this again and definitely recommend it to anyone with fine hair

A thick conditioner with a pleasant fragrance which was good as some conditioners are very runny. I have fine straight hair and felt I had to use quite a lot of conditioner otherwise my hair was very knotty. I didn't notice any difference in hair thickness or volume though which was disappointing.

I have fine hair, and I am very fussy on the shampoo and conditioner I will use on my hair. This product is loverly it leaves my hair silky and shinny it does not leave it dry at all or to heavy, o feels clean and I can go for two days before I need to wash it, which I like. I don't think my hair feels any thicker though . But that's does not worry me too much clean shinny well behaved hair that I get from this shampoo is great. I will use this shampoo and conditioner again and it smells good .
