L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Arginine Resist Shampoo Review

I found this shampoo pleasant to use. It smells great, and made my hair feel amazing. My hair didn't tangle as much as it usually does when I used this shampoo. I also noticed I didn't have as much hair on my hair brush after using this product, which indicates to me that the anti-fall does somewhat work! Overall I was pretty happy with this product!

I have used the Arginine Resist Anti Hair Fall Shampoo and Conditioner for two weeks now as I wanted to be able to see if using it for some time would be helpful rather than using it once and placing my review.

After several uses I notice that there is less hair on my brush now and less in the bath, (not to mention on the carpet!) which is a very positive sign.

The black and pink packaging is delightful, very easy to find on my shelf when I'm squinting because there is water in my eyes.

I was somewhat confused when I first got the product as the shampoo has a flat bottom surface and the conditioner a domed one. At first I thought it was a manufacturing issue but I'm presuming not. The Shampoo is stored upright and the conditioner the other way.

The shampoo is quite lovely to use, it has a nice consistency, is not overwhelming and smells pleasant. I found that I didn't need to use large amounts to get the desired affect unless my hair was particularly dirty and then it required two applications.

I will be buying this product from now onwards. It is reasonably priced and from my examination does indeed seem to work in that it reduces hair fall.

I've been using this for about a fornight now. The smell is quite sweet smelling, which I love and the formula is nice and thick, so you don't need to use much of it at all, I made the mistake the first time of using way too much! The size of the bottle is quite large, so it will last a long time, which is definitely great value for money. This is also really hyrdating, usually after shampooing my hair, it feels quite rough/dry, but this didn't make my hair feel like that at all, almost as if I wouldnt have to condition my hair, which for me is really rare. Because it left my hair feeling so soft and smooth, there was no need for me to tug/brush my hair while putting through the conditioner, which also helped with the hair fall out/breakage. I definitely noticed a difference using this product over the past few weeks, conciderably less fall out when washing, brushing and straightening my hair. I will be re-purchasing this product for sure. Its left my hair in great health!

Im really enjoying this shampoo. I think the packaging looks really attractive and well done. I think the price is great and a bonus that its so easily avaliable. The actual product I think works really well I have been using in conjunction with the conditioner and lotion. I have been loosing noticeably less hair on a daily basis as before while brushing straightening ect. I love the smell of this in the shower not to chemical but not to sented. It doesn't make my hair oily which is always a good bonus. Overall I love this product and plan to continue using this range.

I chose to trial this shampoo for the sole purpose of trying to reduce the amount of hair fallout I have. My hair by the way is of fine texture and can be normal to dry most of the time.The bottle indicated that fallout would be reduced by 64% on the first wash and then 80% on the third. The first time I used it, I noticed that the amount of hair fallout was still the same as per the usual. It wasn't until the third and fourth time I washed my hair that I noticed that there was less and less hair falling out but it did not stop it completely although the bottle doesn't make that claim anyway. But I am impressed by how much it did actually reduce breakage. One of my concerns as I was using it, I worried about it stripping my hair of colour or causing colour fade but it didn't and my greys are still the dark brown I had dyed it about a week before I started using the shampoo. On the negative for me though is that my hair was clean after the wash and it felt good but by the second day it felt oily and needed washing again which my regular shampoo kept my hair clean and oil free for four days straight. It also made my scalp itch a little from time to time and when I scratched I felt an oily residue on my scalp. My conclusion is that it did do what it says about reducing hair breakage and I would recommend to someone who is concerned about hair loss but for me personally I would have to reconsider and look for something else that could do the same without causing an itchy oily scalp. It's still a really good product.

Amazing affordable hair care range ! I was selected for the trial of this product, so glad i was! The shampoo smelt amazing a sweet floral scent that lasted in my hair for days after the wash. The consistency of the shampoo was thick so a small amount goes along way!

I have naturally quite thick but I do have a lot of hairfall :( I found after 3 washes that my hair felt stronger however I didn't notice a difference in hair fall unfortunately. The price is fantastic and so easy to get being available in supermarkets. The packaging is simple love the pink and black design very visually pleasing. I would definitely recommend this to a friend its affordable, easy to get and it does mostly what it says it does :)

I was chosen to be apart of the trial team for this shampoo. I love this product, done exactly what is says it does! I had less hair breakage, my hair is shinier and fuller looking, in just a week of using this shampoo. The smell is yummy, that last a long time. (hubby said the smell reminds him of a fruit smoothie haha) Definitely will be using this shampoo again.

I have to admit that when I first received this product I was hesitant to believe it would work especially at $8.99 a bottle! If it sounds too good to be true, it generally is.

However after the first wash I was pleasantly surprised! Firstly the packaging is very smart and easy to look out for in the supermarket (who doesn’t love pink on black!) and the floral scent of the shampoo was very nice and lasted through to the day after a wash.

It is quite thick in consistency so be mindful of how much you squeeze out as it lathers up very well. I made the mistake of using too much the first time I tried it! A little really goes a long way and this bottle will last me several washes so it is extremely affordable.

I signed up to review this particular shampoo range because after having my daughter, my hair falls out constantly. I am clearing my hair brush every few days, there is always hair on the carpet and of course I have to unblock my shower sink! Not only is the clean-up of hair-fall annoying but I hate the way my hair feels – dry and super thin! After using this shampoo for nearly two weeks I have noticed a significant improvement! I have cleared out my hair brush once and there was not much on it, plus noticed little hair collecting on the carpet and in the sink! My hair also feels much thicker and I find the shampoo and conditioner to be quite nourishing. While my hair is in need of a cut, the dry ends feel much better than what they did prior to this review! At $8.99 I was very happy for the opportunity to trial a shampoo that is both affordable and actually does what it says it will!

So I was so excited to be chosen for this review I have seriously fine hair that comes out by the hand full whenever I wash it and leaves a trail of hair almost everywhere I go - seriously worried about going bald these days! So far so good in just 3 weeks I am probably loosing half as much hair in the shower and am noticing less on clothes/pillows in dinner etc. Also the ends of my hair which was basically a few strands is starting to look and feel thicker. The packaging is very attractive bright pink and black stands out and looks pretty, it has a nice light girly scent and leaves my hair feeling soft and shiny after washing. It is quite an oily product so I am having to wash every second day which I tend to do anyway, if I leave it an extra day I look like I have tipped a pot of oil over my head- probably the only downside to an otherwise great product. It is good value for money and a little goes a long way especially on super fine hair - have used half a bottle in 3 weeks. I would recommend to a friend if they had the same hair as me. I do worry a little that once I stop using it, my hair will start to fall out even more than before. Will have to update this review once I find out!

As the title says, I'm impressed. I went into this trial with low expectations - I have used a L'Oréal shampoo before and I absolutely hated it, so I was so blown away at how awesome this one is.

The bottle is cute. I love the black and purple together, they're a nice combination. The writing is easy to read, its straightforward and the bottle is easy to open, which is great because a lot of bottles you end up breaking the lid - I do at least.

The smell of the shampoo, oh my goodness. I wish I knew what it was. Fruity and floral and so delicious, I wish it was a perfume, I'd wear it. I didn't notice the smell of the shampoo the next day though, unless I shook my hair vigorously in front of my face, and then it was lovely.

Now onto what it says its supposed to do - less hair fall. Honestly, I noticed a difference straight away. I used about an old 50c piece squirt of shampoo and found it was enough, focusing mainly on the scalp like the shampoo instructed. Once rinsed out it made my hair only a little ratty, but it was nothing compared to the results I got, which was less hair fall, barely any knots and super soft nice hair.

If it was on special, I'd buy it again, but personally I think that $8.99 for only 250ml of shampoo is a bit cheeky, even if the results are amazing.
