L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Arginine Resist Shampoo Review

I really like the packing of this product. It doesn't look or feel 'cheap', is sleek and I love the black and pink combo.

I loved the fragrance - it is noticeable, but not overpowering and it seems to last in my hair once I have dried it off which I really like (and my husband likes too which is a bonus!). It smells really fresh and clean.

The consistency is nice, not too runny (I hate runny shampoos that run straight through your fingers and go to waste) and not too thick, it was right in the middle, nice and creamy and lathered really well.

Now this is the tricky bit - if I am being completely honest, I really just cannot tell if this has helped with my hair fall. Some days it appeared to be better and others I still seemed to have a lot. So I really can't say either way if this helped to reduce hair fall out.

This shampoo does make my hair feel really really clean - almost squeaky clean and I was loving it the first few times I used it, however after a few washes, I did notice that my hair started to feel more dry than usual and a bit more frizzy when dried off which I am not a fan of. I also noticed my scalp was a bit drier than usual as well - and no one likes dandruff!

This is a shampoo I will keep using in between shampoo's with my regular hair products, but I am unsure if I will repurchase this. I think it is great when you are wanting super clean feeling hair and would be awesome if you were trying to remove product build up in your hair.

Love this it doesn't make my hair dry and frizzy like some shampoos, love the smell and how soft and shiny it makes your hair feel and look. Definately recommend this.

My hair falls out due to a health condition, this shampoo has made a HUGE difference.

Not only have I noticed a big reduction in hair fall, but my hair looks and feels healthier.

The shampoo itself washes well and smells great, very easy to use, and I felt I only needed to wash once to get clean hair.

I am looking forward to seeing if the hair which grows through now continues to remain as strong and healthy.

I will definately continue to use this product.

I really enjoyed using this shampoo! It didn't make my hair feel dry or frizzy and I do think that my hair is in better condition now after using it for over a week. I think I will definitely keep a bottle in stock to use alongside my salon treatment shampoos.

This shampoo has changed my hair forever! Prior to this my hair would fall out and bread constantly. After though, my hair is stronger than ever!

The consistency of the shampoo is good, and it froths up like it is supposed to. My hair was left feeling squeaky clean, and stronger than before.

I've noticed a huge improvement in the amount of hair that falls out, and my hair is feeling thicker than ever before. The only small niggle is that the shampoo leaves my hair screaming for moisture, but using a conditioner helps with this.

I was very excited to try this out as I have quite thin hair which is always coming out in my hair brush.

My first impression of this shampoo was that it has a gorgeous bottle and smells yummy.

The first time I used it I loved the result! My hair was soft, shiny and I am pretty sure that there was in fact less hair in my hair brush after brushing. My hair smelt lovely too.

However, after using about 5 times (every 2 days which is the normal amount for me), my hair was not very happy. It was feeling quite dry and looking frizzy. On a positive note, it did definitely reduce the amount of hair fallout-age. I think my hair just needs a bit more nourishment than this provides unfortunately.

I have just found my new favourite shampoo.

From the container design, to the scent of the product, to the results, I've fallen in love with this shampoo. I like the simple, easy to open containers which stand out from the others in our shower with their nice black and pink colouring. I like the way that you can easily tell the difference between the shampoo and the conditioner bottles even when half asleep. And I like the floral scent, which leaves just a nice hint of scent in my hair and doesn't overwhelm any other products I may be using.

This shampoo is designed to prevent hair loss but I'm not entirely sure that it really reduced the amount of hair at the bottom of the shower each morning. But what I do know is that, in conjunction with the matching conditioner, it dramatically reduced the oiliness of my hair, leaving it feeling fuller, smoother, healthier and softer. My hair looks better, feels better and for someone who usually woke up on day two with oily, flat hair, it has worked miracles. I no longer feel the need to hide my hair in a ponytail on day two but can instead leave it lying loose, feeling confident in how clean and fresh it feels. I'll definitely be buying this as soon as the current bottle starts to empty.

No difference at all. Has a nice smell but thats about all I like about it. No different to other shampoos I use unfortunately.. Brushed my hair 50 times before using the duo, and recorded how much hair was on my hair brush. Did it again after using the shampoo and conditioner for 2 weeks, and no difference. Ohwell..

This product claims to help prevent hair loss, by strengthening your hair health. In the past year I have experienced more than usual hair loss, even to the point of having my thyroid tested. I have been using this shampoo for the past week and a half, and I must say, it seems to be working somewhat! I wash my hair every two days and it is fine textured and coloured. This shampoo does not strip the colour from my hair, so I think is fine to use on coloured hair. Pleasantly fragranced, with an unobtrusive fresh smell, you only need to use a small amount to get a good wash. My hair loss has maybe halved since using this shampoo, so I would definitely repurchase.

Fine, straight hair suffering from hair loss due to pregnancy and breastfeeding.

I was at first really excited about the thought of having less hair loss but then upon reading the small print I saw it only stopped hair loss due to breakage - my hair is pretty healthy and only lose hair from the root.

I love the black, silver and purple bottle. I adore how you are able to stand the bottle up from either end - meaning when you are nearing to the end the product can easily run to the dispatch end. Easy flip lid, the smell is delicious - think artificial berries. The consistency of the shampoo is nice, not too runny or too thick. You are able to manipulate through your hair easily however I do find when my hair is particularly greasy I may need to shampoo twice. The product washes out of your hair quickly making the wash or double wash a breeze.

After washing my hair is left clean, shiny and manageable. I really love how this shampoo leaves my hair - clean without aggravating my scalp.

The biggest question everyone will be wondering regarding this product: does it reduce hair loss. My hair certainly feels stronger. I still have significant hair loss however I do feel like it has been less lately. I use to have a good handful during washing and after while brushing and I would say it has almost halved. If this is due to the shampoo I am not sure... but I like to give it the benefit of the doubt.

Overall I am really enjoying this shampoo and I would say if you are suffering from hair loss then it is cheap enough to just give a go! What have you got to lose - apart from more hair if you dont?!
