L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Arginine Resist Conditioner Review

As mentioned in my review for L’Oreal’s Arginine Resist Shampoo, I was pleasantly surprised with this conditioner.

The packaging is very smart and easy to look out for, and both the shampoo and conditioner have a lovely floral scent that seemed to last in my hair for a good day after washing it.

Similar to the shampoo, the conditioner is also of a thick consistency and I assumed it wouldn’t work well into my hair and I would therefore need a lot of it but I was wrong! Only a small amount is needed and with a good massage, it really works well into the hair.

I signed up to review this particular product as I have suffered with very bad hair fall-out and breakage since I had my daughter. For the last two weeks I have been using this conditioner in conjunction with L’Oreal’s Arginine Resist Shampoo and have been very pleased with the results. I was sceptical that a product priced at $8.99 would really work but it has! I have cleared out my hair brush once in the last two weeks when I would normally be doing so every few days and even then, there was little hair. Little to no hair clogging shower sink or being seen on the carpet and my hair actually feels much thicker and healthier.

So I used every last bit if this stuff before I decided to review it. (Same with the shampoo)

Firstly it smells yummy! And secondly I did like this so much I bought I in my shopping this week.

I have extensions (micro weft) so I'm usually careful with what I put in my hair... Nothing to make the rings slip and nothing that will dry the hair out so it needs to be a fine balance.

I love this stuff... My hair Is healthy, shiny and I use no products with it what so ever.... It's conditions without leaving the hair greasy or heavy... I have to be care full as my hair is both super long and super thick

I don't have to use much and I have really thick hair aswell as my hair fall isn't as bad.... So happy with it I've committed to spending money on it to see how long ill love it for and what results I can get past a bottle.

As I said in my review for the Shampoo I was very keen to try this as I did not know of a product like this and had a problem will hair falling out and blocking up shower drains etc. so put my hand up for this trial right away. I found it not perfect but still pretty good. It didn't put a stop to the hair falling out problem but I did see a significant difference which was nice. I just think a bit more continuous use of the product and you would see even better results so some paitence and perseverance are key but overall I am happy with what I got to see in this trial period so 8/10. The conditioner had a nice fragrance and my hair came out feeling nice and soft and great!

Yes, this really worked for me, I'm so pleased. I trialled it in conjunction with the Arginine Resist Shampoo and I like it. The conditioner is moderately thick and has a very light scent. It's easy to distribute through to the ends of the hair and left my hair feeling soft, smooth and somehow stronger. After a week of using this and the shampoo, I noticed much less hair falling into my hand-basin after my daily styling routine of brushing, combing and straightening. My ends,which were dry and snapping off in short pieces, became a little softer and smoother in appearance and I didn't notice short pieces of broken hair falling down anymore! Gotta love the black and pink bottles as well.

An awesome follow on from the shampoo. I loved that the conditioner wasnt too heavy and it didnt leave my hair feeling oily like most supermarket brands do. Had a nice fragrance and you dont need to use much. Left my hair feeling soft and manageable and definitely reduced hairfall when used alongside the shampoo.

My hair type is bleached dry/damaged with a little bit of breakage and I've noticed a bit more hair fall recently so I was excited to give this a try.

Packaging is fine nothing super exciting but easy to use and it comes in a standard 250mls. The product is nice and creamy I had to use a tad more than I usually would with my fav salon conditioner so I'm not sure if it will last me that long.

I applied after using the shampoo and I always leave my conditioner in for a few mins so did this rinsed and then blow dried like usual and my hair felt great soft and really shiny the ends may have been a bit dry still but over all I was impressed with the results its hard to see at this early stage if it has helped with breakage at all but I'm pretty sure I did notice a small change in hair fall.

The amount of hair falling out I have had over the last few months has been worrying me, after using ELVIVE just twice I noticed a dramatic reduction in the amount of hair I had falling out, and even snapping off. It leaves my hair nourished, shiny and silky without weighing it down. With continued use hair fall isn't a problem anymore, even just using the conditioner with a different brand of shampoo. I really recommend trying this conditioner if you are concerned about hair fall, and even if you're not it leaves your hair in great condition.

I used this in conjunction with the shampoo so I cannot say results would be the same if you just used the conditioner.

I have found less hair breakage with this product; I still shed some hair but I think it has reduced somewhat. This product didn't make my hair any shinier or softer and I had to use quite a bit to make my hair feel somewhat nice. I did use another better conditioner after conditioning with this product as I found my hair to be quite dry when just using this shampoo and conditioner (I would say my hair has gotten used to my other shampoo/conditioner). The scent isn't anything special nor is the packaging.

But overall I would probably use again (if it were on special) and in conjunction with the shampoo as I do think my hair breakage has reduced slightly.

I used the L'Oreal Paris ELVIVE Arginine Resist Shampoo and Conditioner from the day I received it to now and I was VERY surprised. I don't expect much from supermarket hair products. I have quite a lot of hair and so first I was pleasantly surprised that you don't need much in the hand to get good coverage from the conditioner. This means that a relatively small bottle of product lasts quite a good length of time. When used as directed and massaged into the mid lengths to ends (but also applied to roots) it gave my wet hair a fantastically silky feel. After use of both the shampoo and conditioner I found my hair felt really silky and soft and also smelt AMAZING. Smell lasted all day too! After the first few conditions I noticed a difference in the amount of hair fall, but still some hair breakage. Now that I have finished the trial I have significantly less hair fall and breakage. I actually have very impressive photos of my hair brush before and after!

At first I was a little sceptical about this product. I received both the shampoo and conditioner for the trial from BR. When I was my hair I have always had enough hair fall out to almost make a wig. My mum always used to joke that it is a wonder that I'm not bald already! Quite possibly the best part about having thick, but straight hair, there's enough to go around. It smelt pretty good, as the L'Oréal brands do, so that was a bonus. The conditioner was pretty thick ad creamy, which surprised me as some supermarket brands I've use din the past have been rather watered down in comparison. I wash my hair 2-3 times a week depending on how the week goes, so it took a good two weeks before I noticed any results. By the second-third wash I was admittedly a bit disappointed as I was expecting results, however by the fourth wash, BAM! I found close to half the amount of hair that usually came out while washing it was falling! (Even my boyfriend was a bit surprised by the size of my 'hair ball'). The combination of the shampoo and conditioner did not leave my hair feeling greasy. I would recommend this product, but expect results to take it's time to show. I would recommend this as a decent supermarket branded conditioner.
