L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Arginine Resist Conditioner Review

Having trialled both the shampoo and conditioner from this range, hands down the conditioner is my favourite of the two.

As with the shampoo packaging the design is very pleasing to the eye with bold pink and black bottles. Again I found the consistency a little on the runny side for my tastes. Smell is all right, not too strong, didn't last long on my hair after rinsing. I have very dry hair so am quite liberal with conditioners. I applied a generous amount to my ends and worked my way up avoiding my scalp. I found it was a fairly decent conditioner as my hair felt really soft and silky and got rid of any tangles that happened during the shampoo (I have unruly hair even when wet haha). I wouldn't say it left my hair with really lasting hydration but then again that could be my hair. I am yet to find even a salon conditioner that can help with my dry, damaged ends and unruly flyaways.

In terms of reducing hair fall/breakage I think the combo of both products did help with a minor reduction of loss for me. I think I need more time and use to really gauge whether it has long term benefits.

I truly love this conditioner! I am very loyal to salon brands as I truly believe that they deliver superior results and are much better for the hair than "supermarket" brands. The fact that L'Oreal is a crossover brand made this product all the more appealing to me. I've previously used the L'Oreal Total Repair Conditioner and the Royal Jelly one but this far outshines the both of them!

I haven't coloured my hair in over 8 months now so I wasn't in need of any damage repairing products as my hair is relatively healthy. I do however shed like a very hairy dog and I'm surprised I have any hair left on my head! I was pretty skeptical about a product range that could eliminate hair fall but I was pleasantly surprised! There was far less hair (if any) falling down the drain in the shower & there was NO hair being combed onto the carpet after my shower.

My hair felt stronger and healthier, it shines like crazy and it even dried smoother and straighter. I am so so impressed with this conditioner! It smells lovely, just like one of the conditioners that comes free with the hair dying kit from L'Oreal that I use on my mama.

It doesn't leave my hair feeling greasy or weighed down which I love. I would seriously recommend this product to anyone who may be concerned about the amount of hair they lose from either washing or brushing. It works!

I used this product along with the shampoo in the range. Overall, I found that this product did not reduce my hair fall, which was disappointing. The consistency of the product is good, and the packaging is practical and visually appealing. My hair does feel very soft, but it becomes dry quicker than if I am using my salon conditioner. For a supermarket conditioner, I believe that this is the best of a bad bunch, and if I had to purchase a supermarket shampoo and conditioner again it would be this one.

I believe in conditioning hair after shampooing, it’s a must for me. Since I air dry my hair most days, I like to have my hair well conditioned so that I don’t have to set my hair.

I used this conditioner along with the same range shampoo. The shampoo leaves my hair very dry so this conditioner does fix the dryness and make my hair well moisturised.

I noticed that a small amount of hair falls while rinsing my hair after conditioning. I normally lose hair after shampooing but not after conditioning. I tried using another conditioner and didn’t lose hair after rinsing.

I will give some more weeks of try and leave the conditioner longer to see if it makes any difference.

I don’t think I will be buying this product again as it only helped with moisturising my hair and not hair fall.

as like the shampoo i love this product, i love the stylish eye catching bottle and the smell omg devine, i used this after the shampoo and this product 100 percent does what it says it does, i had a worrying about of hair fall but now this product has helped me at least 80 percent, i love it i will not turn to any other product, this is amazing for me and im so happy to have bn invited to this as i could still be living with the embarrassement of hair fall, thanks br you have made my day

This review is going to be the same as my review for the shampoo as I have been using the two together. Oh my goodness! When I first got this product as well as the shampoo I didn't have high expectations at all. Previous to using L'Oreal Paris ELVIVE Arginine Resist Shampoo and Conditioner, my hair was malting a lot from straightening it everyday and washing it most days due to oiliness and exercise. After using this even once, I could already feel that my hair was so much stronger. Since the first wash I have been washing my hair with this shampoo and the conditioner every second day and I have not experienced as much hair fall out as I use to. This is definitely something that I will be repurchasing again!

Ioved this conditioner , I liked the packaging as pink in my fav colour, so that was a good start. The sent of this conditioner is lovely a very fresh smell . I found in the first few days when combing my long hair there is much less hair coming out. less in the shower and less on my comb. My hair was soft smooth and shiny. I really liked it and would use again

Firstly: I have long brunette hair, it's fairly thin but I have lots off it. I lose a LOT of hair in the shower, and try to avoid brushing with a brush, using a wide toothed comb to minimise the amount of hair I lose. Nevertheless, I shed all over the house. So to try a product that claims to reduce hair fall is a dream come true. I was previously using Mane and Tail.

This product is absolutely AMAZING. I noticed a difference from the very first wash! Normally I would have a golfball sized clump of hair, and from the first wash I had at least half less fall out. I've now used it for two weeks and in my shower today I only lost 5 hairs. FIVE!

The shampoo was cleansing but not overly soapy, the conditioner was nourishing. My hair is softer and now tangle free, and I've had lots of compliments on it. Normally I like to buy hair products in massive products and initially I wasn't sure I would rebuy due to the size, but I've since found out they sell this in a large pump bottle - PERFECT!

I will definitely be rebuying this Loreal Elvive Arginine Resist product again!

As I said in my review for the Shampoo I was very keen to try this as I did not know of a product like this and had a problem will hair falling out and blocking up shower drains etc. so put my hand up for this trial right away. I found it not perfect but still pretty good. It didn't put a stop to the hair falling out problem but I did see a significant difference which was nice. I just think a bit more continuous use of the product and you would see even better results so some paitence and perseverance are key but overall I am happy with what I got to see in this trial period so 8/10. The conditioner had a nice fragrance and my hair came out feeling nice and soft and great!

Oh goodness, I did not like this stuff at all! The only positive is the packaging. Like the shampoo, the colour scheme is eyecatching & sleek. That is wear the positivity in this review ends for me. Lets start with the smell. Oh dear god, the smell. It is vile. It made me want to be sick. It has a strong chemical smell, mixed with I don't even know what, but it is awful. I powered through the smell to see if the products end results were worth it. They were not. The consistency is extremely thick. Too thick - as opposed to the shampoo that was too thin. I like a thick conditioner, as in my experience, it seems to give an all around better result, but this was so thick, & it didn't seem to make the product any better. It didn't condition my hair in any sense of the word. My hair was not soft. Not smooth. Not conditioned! It was dry, it was prone to knotting (which is insane, as I have a pixie cut so my hair never knots!) & I noticed that my hair actually seemed to get almost greasy the next day, causing me to need to wash it every day - which I have never had to do in my life! If I washed it in the morning, by night it was oily and awful to touch, & if I washed it at night, by morning I had the same results. As mentioned in my shampoo review, I had a really bad allergic reaction to this duo, & I will not be using the remainder of the bottles. I absolutely hated this product.
