L'Oréal Paris ELVIVE Arginine Resist Conditioner Review

wow cant say enough about this product have tried the red bottle in the past (elvive colour protect) and that def was a fav till now

the conditioner felt moisturising from the time I put it in and didnt seem to feel heavy or that slimy feel when i washed it out (or have any yukky residue like some shampoos and conditioners ive had) love the smell too heavenly and made my hair silky and shiny even after the 2nd day def felt a diff after first wash and def got compliments on my hair some thought I had been to a salon

As much as I hate the shampoo, I really like the conditioner I have to say. Would I use this conditioner on its own paired with another shampoo? Probably not, but alongside the shampoo, you really need this.

The shampoo itself made my hair extremely dry, but using this after the shampoo, oh my gosh it's a miracle. The shampoo made my hair feel like wet hay, and putting this on, turned it into soft luscious satin silk. I couldn't believe my hands.. or my eyes.

While using it, I noticed it had a bamboo scent to it, not something I want in a shampoo, but once out of the shower, when hair is nice and dry, it smells lovely. Nothing like bamboo.

The only complaint I have with this is, that it makes hair super oily - that is IF YOU PUT IT ON YOUR SCALP. Which I understand is something you don't do, for the exact reason that it does weigh down hair and give you and oily scalp. But alongside the shampoo, I felt it was very necessary to put this conditioner on the scalp, because the shampoo is very drying.

I have however, used it only on the lengths of my hair (i.e. ears and below) and it works like a charm. No oil. Just shine.

It also leaves a beautiful shine to the hair, and makes my hair super glossy. I've had a couple people mention that my hair looks like a dolls hair, because it looks so soft, shiny and bouncy. So its an A++

I have been using this in conjunction with the matching shampoo. I love what it has done for my hair. I have been using it daily for the past week and my hair has gone from being dry and brittle to soft, silky, shiny and much easier to style. It has greatly reduced the amount of hair gathering in my brush and in the shower drain. I have not been applying to the roots, only the ends as specified in the instructions, this has worked well on my normally dry hair. I really love this shampoo and conditioner combination, its like salon hair but at home and much cheaper

Iv been using this with the shampoo. Ever since I coloured my hair iv had alot of hair falling out in the shower and while brushing it. I was abit reluctant when I heard, this along with the shampoo, helps reduce hair loss. Iv been using this for about a week now, and its amazing! Iv really noticed how much less hair I have lost, and iv also noticed how easy it is to brush now. Its a bonus that its made my hair so nice, smooth and soft!!

This product reduced hair fall immediately. I was shocked by the noticeable difference to the amount of hair coming out when I combed it. The conditioner has a nice feel to it and glides on nicely and covers well. It washes out well without the hair feeling overly coated in it. It has left my hair feeling silkier than it has in a long time and my hair dries quicker and seems to retail less water. As I continue to use the product my hair fall reduces more. I am surprised at the excellent results I have gotten and very happy with it.

I was lucky enough to get to trial this conditioner with the Arginine Resist Shampoo. I didn't really like the shampoo and I do think that this conditioner made the experience a bit more bearable. I was very interested to try this range to see if it would reduce hair fallout, and it has. The conditioner has the same fruity smell as the shampoo and the same nice bottle. The shampoo left me with extremely dry hair and this conditioner works wonders to fix that flaw.

I have been using this conditioner with the Arginine Resist shampoo. This conditioner really works with the hair to bring a bit of moisture back. (Not all, just a tiny bit). Since the shampoo left my hair really matted I thought the conditioner would help untangle my hair, I was wrong. It did untangle it a little bit, but not very much. I'm highly disappointed in this conditioner and this range. It is an ok conditioner but it doesn't have many benefits unfortunately. Basically its the same unfortunate experience as the shampoo and I share the same view on both products.

Overall I would not try this again, I hope no one else had a similar experience as I have had. I felt very let down in this conditioner. I was hoping at least it would fix the things that the shampoo messed up! In my opinion I think it was a fantastic Ideal that Loreal came up with a hair product that reduces hair fall out. They perfected that aspect of it, however I think the formula needs a tweak to balance all aspects of it out. If they perfected this shampoo then I would 100% use it again.

I unfortunately did not find this product anything amazing. The scent of this does nothing for me and is not a smell I like which was a bit of a shame as I really like my hair to smell good (who doesn't?).

I find this a lot better than the matching Shampoo but still don't love it. I found it did really re-hydrate my hair after using the matching Shampoo but once again it produced only standard results. I found the softness and shine of my hair was not dramatically increased and once my hair was dry it didn't feel as conditioned. To me this is just another standard Supermarket conditioner, nothing terrible but nothing amazing either and certainly not the best.

In terms of its claims to reduce fall-out and breakage of the hair I can't say I found that to be true. After going through a bottle of this product (and it's matching Shampoo) I haven't noticed any difference in the amount of hair falling out, but isn't something I purchased it specifically for (I was more interested in strengthening the entire follicle of hair to reduce breakage).

Overall, this is not something I would repurchase or recommend, but in saying that wouldn't hate to use again either.

I highly rate this conditioner - it smells amazing, is a great consistency (not oily or heavy) and my hair is really soft. I also truly believe the amount of hair fall has reduced within only a couple of weeks. The amount of hair coming out in my hands is nowhere near what it was.

I was so excited to be given the opportunity to trial this shampoo as I suffer from hair breakage and this sounded like a fantastic product to try.

First impression was I really loved the packaging, the bold black and bright pink really helped this stand out amongst my other hair products. The texture of the conditioner was a little thin, I would have preferred a thicker consistency. The conditioner spread through my long hair well and rinsed out nicely. One dry my hair was smooth and soft however by the end of the day my hair was like an oil slick. I have naturally oily hair but it usually lasts two days before needing another wash, so I was really disappointed that this weighed down my hair and made it greasy so fast.

After using this my scalp became very itchy and after a few uses I discovered a significant build up of product on my scalp. Unfortunately I had to stop using this as it caused too much irritation to my scalp and just made my hair too greasy. I'm not sure I used it long enough to observe the benefits described but I didn't notice any reduction in hair fall as the amount of hair I collected in my comb was the same as prior to using this.

In testing this product I used it in conjunction with the shampoo. I used the conditioner every day whereas I only shampooed every second day. I found that this kept my hair clean and fresh without being oily or greasy. The conditioner everyday kept my hair moisturized and healthy looking (infact my boyfriend commented on how healthy my hair was looking)

The instructions on the bottle instruct that when using the conditioner, it is important to concentrate on the mid lengths/ends which is what I did and I think it is important to follow this.

I definitely noticed a reduction in hair fall over the couple of weeks that I have been using this product and I honestly I can't believe that I have noticed a difference as initially I was very skeptical of what the product claimed to be able to do.

Each time I use the conditioner, I use a wide tooth comb to comb through the conditioner after it has been sitting in my hair for a little while. After a few uses, I noticed that my hair was a lot easier to comb through and this resulted in less hair fall as the comb wasn't dragging through the hair.

Another bonus that I noticed was that my hair didn't knot as easily/quickly throughout the day. I could leave it down and be out and about and not have to deal with a bunch of knotted hair at the end of the day. Same goes for when I would put it up in a bun. Before this shampoo and conditioner, if my hair was in a bun all day, it would be filled with knots however definitely not the case when using this product
