Dove Intensive Repair Shampoo

No kidding guys, when they were handing out dry and damaged hair in the beginning i was first in line! I'm always on the look out for something new to help my hair. Using Dove shampoo the first thing I noticed is that you dont need much and it lathers. Tick! Second it smell is to die for. Tick! Conditioning made hair my hair feel and manageable to the touch. Tick! Using the intensive repair, the bottle says 2-3 minutes but I rebelled and kept it on for 30 minutes. 2-3 minutes will never work on this hair of mine. So the true test was blow drying. My hair was soft soft and shiny! Wow for such an affordable product it really gave some life to my hair!

ive always been a fan of dove products, the shampoo smells wonderful, its got a good thick texture, alittle goes along way and it doesnt seem to dry my hair out if not used with a conditioner,my whole family enjoy using dove,but i do have to change brands every few weeks as i find if i use the same one for to long my hair goes gross, but big ups for this product :)

It always does the trick for me i love it. A must have in my bathroom, makes my hair look and feel great, also it is a great price

This is a great shampoo that gently cleans my hair and leaves it feeling light, clean and weightless (ie hair and scalp doesnt get weighed down as easily as with some other shampoos i've used). However, it doesnt get the hair as smooth as I'd like ie bit frizzy even after using the conditioner of the same kind. But nothing that a straightener wont fix.Also, not entirely convinced it is actually repairing any hair damage - more like caring for it in the interim and possibly preventing any further damage while you continue use?

personally shampoos usually are all the same to me so i am not too fussed. pretty much just buy what is on sale but I am becoming more concious now of ethical beauty. I am not sure of Dove's stance on animal testing so could somone please let me know?

Dove is a fantastic supermarket brand. The scent of dove products is just divine and similar between all of them. This left my hair feeling less dry and more life in it. I’ve been battling with different shampoos and conditioners for so long, I use higher end products now. But if I couldn’t afford them I would defiantly revert back to dove knowing it does so as it says.

I liked this shampoo. It nourished my hair, they looked more healthy and shiny. My only gripe is that it weighed them down a bit and I lost more hair than normal in shower (not sure why!).

I rather like this shampoo. I bought it as a cheaper alternative to expensive salon brands and it did not disappoint. It leaves your hair nice and soft and silky and unlike some others I have tried, it didn't make my hair look greasy after a few days without a wash.

I'm quite a big fan of this shampoo the conditioner aswell. I don't buy it (I'm a herbal essences girl through and through) but my mum buys it for her and my younger sister. And after seeing what it does for her hair, I just had to try it for myself. And wow, the first thing I noticed was the fact that I didn't need a lot of product and straight away that's a huge thumbs up from me as my hair is very thick, so a lot of the shampoos I use don't last long as I'm having to use a fair bit just for one wash. The second thing I noticed was the smell, oh so good! Makes me feel so good knowing that my hair smells good. Overall, it's a great shampoo.
