Pantene Moisture Renewal Shampoo Review

I'm not fussy when it comes to washing my hair. I tend to aim for something that smells fruity, silky and above all affordable! The trial included both Shampoo & Conditioner and a decent trial size at that. This combo had a pleasant smell to it, neither over-powering nor heavily scented (I prefer strong citrus/fruity shampoo/conditioners) However I was highly impressed with the results; It could be that I had a haircut in recent weeks but I feel my hair is much more silky and healthy! I would only wish it had a stronger fruity scent. 4/5

This shampoo was not what I was inspecting from pantene. It had same nice smell and same thick consistentcy but would not lather up in my hair, I had to use a lot of shampoo to feel like their was any in there and I dont have oily hair at all as its quite damaged from lots of bleaching. As for locking in moisture and creating silky hair, that is true when used with the conditioner but I dont know if that wad because of the shampoo or the conditioner.

Over all I definitely would not use the shampoo by itself or with another conditioner but the combo together is great

I did like the packaging of this product - the bottle was easy to hold and the dimples down the side of the bottle is great for knowing which is the shampoo and which is the conditioner without looking. (I don't wear my glasses in the shower!) I shampoo my hair twice - always have done - and I found I used far too much product the first time. Had bubbles forever! I used a much smaller amount second time (thumbnail) and it was perfect. It rinsed out easily and my hair felt really clean. (That squeak). After drying, my hair was a bit "fluffier" than usual - more volume. After two days - it really did need washing again I felt, whereas I would normally only wash my hair every three days. I did use the Matching conditioner after the shampoo and will review the product separately.

I thought this shampoo was a good basic shampoo. It wasn't as moisturising as I was expecting from the title and did leave my hair a little bit on the dry side. I wasn't disappointed with this shampoo though. I would buy it again.

A pretty decent product - not something I normally buy for myself but definitely one I would use again. After the first wash I definitely noticed that my hair felt nice and silky smooth to the touch. It also smelt good which was a bonus!

Dryness is something that I suffer with greatly when it comes to my thick and unruly hair. No matter how many times I straighten it or how many products I use I always have the same dry and thick hair that I was born with. The Pantene Pro V Shampoo has definitely changed the game quite a bit for me.

Normally I am quite reluctant in changing products on what I use for myself. Even if they don't work and I can promise that my last product was not helping me at all. This moisture renewal shampoo was a great first step into trying something new to tame my unruly hair. The fragrance was refreshing and definitely allowed my hair to have that beginning feeling of being restored to something my luscious and smooth.

I like how this shampoo doesn't make my hair feel all grippy after washing it out it makes it smooth but you can still feel that your hair is nice and clean. It smells amazing also!

I haven't had very long to use this Pantene shampoo but I'm impressed!

The shampoo has a nice fruity smell and the large bottle would be a good a good selling point I imagine.

You don't need much to get a huge lather, maybe it's the amount of sodium lauryl sulfate in it? But it's hard to control the amount that comes out of the bottle when you squeeze! I have found a lot of supermarket brands have this same issue.

I like the way it cleansed my hair, I can't comment too much on the moisture locking as I didn't really notice anything different but it didn't leave my hair in a huge tangle after shampooing.

I was a bit concerned about how my colour might go with it but as I was due for a new colour, I wasn't too concerned. However I didn't notice any colour loss so that was good.

Over all, I thought this product was a good quality and I would buy it again if I didn't buy Salon products. I would not hesitate to buy for my family.

The moisture renewal thing, I am still on the fence about.
