Herbal Essences Honey I'm Strong Conditioner Review

I bought this conditioner to compliment the matching shampoo, the honey scent and strengthening claim being the draw cards for me.

I have long, coloured, thick and frizz-prone hair that I've often struggled to find the products for, constantly switching them up to try and find the right ones. For me this is one of the right ones. After using this conditioner (especially with the shampoo combo) I noticed that my hair was noticeably silkier, and yes stronger, a huge treat for my hair! It also makes your hair smell great :)

As much as I love the Honey i'm Strong Shampoo, the conditioner is definitely the stand out of the duo!

Again the packaging is well considered and matches the honey theme well, complimenting the shape of the Shampoo bottle. This bottle does however get a little harder to get the product out of towards the end but easily fixed with a little extra squeezing.

The conditioner is INCREDIBLE. The first conditioner in fact, that I have ever used which has legitimately made my hair feel as though it was silk. The first time I used this I stood in the shower in complete awe rinsing the conditioner out of my hair because I had never felt it so soft and silky without any knots from just conditioning. It was a marvellous experience and one I wish upon everyone!

Post shower My hair honestly really did feel stronger. I noticed that each strand felt a bit thicker but without being coated in a film like some conditioners do. It just left the hair feel soft and smooth, but incredibly strong as well!

It is a little bit steeper on the pricing for a supermarket conditioner but I think its worth every penny and a cheap indulgence compared to some of the salon prices.

I do not dislike this product but I am not in love with it I do not agree that it can make your hair "10x" stronger I think its false advertising here but the scent of the product is nice and it doe not dry your hair out. The packaging is appealing but I think it is not bad value for money but at around $7 I think a 400ml would be nicer. This brand of products do however seem to be good in the fact that you do not need heaps of conditioner as the formula is rich. The product can hydrate and not make hair frizzy.

Firstly I love Herbal Essences' marketing! It's funny & effective. This smells so yummy! almost edible! However I don't think it has made my hair any stronger & I think it's actually dried my hair out a bit. Great size bottle at a fantastic price. the consistency is great, you don't need heaps of it.

I purchased this range based on a BR recommendation and I have been using it ever since. The packaging is so cute, I love the colour and the little storylines on the back. The product itself is really rich and creamy and has the most gorgeous smell. Not too overpowering, but enough so that odd times during the day I'll get this beautiful scent from my hair. I use it in conjunction with the shampoo and I have had incredible results. I have a rather extensive history of bleaching and then colouring my hair so I get a lot of hair breakage; add to that 4 kids and its a wonder there's anything left on my head!! Since using this I have hardly any breakage, my hair feels incredibly soft and luxurious, and the shower drain is happy :)

Before I get into my review, il tell you my hair is very long, and very thick, with a tendency to be slightly frizzy, and a sensitive scalp.

I brought this product and the matching shampoo after hearing amazing things about both products, and managed to get this for 3.99 from countdown! I was so excited to try this product, especially as I tend to be a girl who goes for the shampoo and conditioners from salon brands versus supermarket brands, but as a student I realised it was time I got real and chose something more within my budget, so the hype around this product was perfect timing for my new.. more realistic budget.

I love the packaging. It made it so easy to spot this product amongst the rows of other shampoos and conditioners, aswell as looking awesome in my shower amongst an otherwise pretty boring range of packaging! The design on the product continues on a positive note, with the bottle has a sleek curve to it, making it so easy to hold and use in the shower, with extra non-slip designs evident on the sides on the bottle (Atleast.. I think that’s what they are). The product has a lid the pops up, well the opposite side pops down, and there is a small hole which the product is released from which makes it easy to release just the right amount of product, so not much wastage here.

The product itself reminds me of a really thick custard, and it smells like one too! Well.. not really! But it does smells delicious. A little goes a long way, and it makes the shower smell amazing as well as my hair.

So results.. I did notice less hair fall in the shower so I assume that’s because this product (in conjunction with the shampoo) was making my hair stronger. However my hair did not look as shiny as it normally does, and this product slightly dried out my ends. If you read my review on the shampoo, you would see I had a similar experience with my hair and scalp being dryer. So it seems like this product is just not the right one for me, even though I wanted to love it!

This product clearly wasnt right for my hair type, but i would still mention the product to friend as it seems people have had some really great experiences with it!!

I've got frizzy, curly, dry hair and finding the right product to give it moisture is a bit of a mission. I'd heard good things about this conditioner so I decided to give it a go, and I love it! Not only does it smell incredible, but it leaves your hair feeling and looking shinier and healthier immediately. I let my hair air dry, and the conditioner makes it dry smooth and frizz-free. It is quite thick so you have to make sure you give your scalp a good rub and get all of it out when you're washing your hair though.

Smells good, made my hair smooth and shiny, really affordable, I would get this or any other one from the herbal essences range again, they have great conditioners for cheap :)

I tried this conditioner out a few months ago and have finished the bottle just recently. I have straight black hair, that is sort of thick and I have a lot of it. Overall the conditioner has a nice gentle smell and thick-ish creamy consistency. I think its a good basic conditioner that is affordable from the supermarket, it leaves my hair nicely moisturised and soft. One thing I really hated was the packaging. As the product was starting to run out, the bottle was very hard to squeeze the remaining conditioner, either the plastic was just really hard and made it difficult to get the last bits of the product. To be honest I probably won't buy the product again just because of the packaging !
