Garnier Fructis Hair Food Banana Conditioner

Firstly I love that Garnier Fructis is cruelty free, vegan and made from 98% natural origins. This conditioner come in a bottle that reminds me of a juice bottle, its quite clever and looks nice. I love the smell of this conditioner it smells exactly like banana and fills up the whole shower when I wash my hair with it, its so good! My hair has been extremely dry lately and gets tangles very easy so I was excited to be trialing this particular conditioner. I love how soft and smooth it made my hair but without weighing it down. I found I could leave my hair a bit longer before I needed to wash it again which was so great as the last product I had been using made my hair looking very greasy fast. My 10 year old daughter also used this conditioner and it made her hair so soft and smooth and she also has quite dry hair but it is extremely thick, it just tamed it down and made it so nice.

The lovely conditioner came with the shampoo in a trial. It comes in the cute plastic flip top bottle as the shampoo and also resembles a juice bottle.

The product is very thick and white. I love thick conditioners, and I also like white shampoos and conditioners as they won't stain my white hair. I have been applying it generously, probably more generously than most people would use, but it is delicious, beautifully scented and bananary. Sadly the scent is not detectable after drying.

After use my hair is soft and hydrated and feels nourished. It is easy to comb through and I don't lose a handful like I sometimes do when combing it after washing.

It is around $11.50 but I would pay that much for it as I love it. It is also vegan and comes in a recyclable bottle, which I also love.

I recommend it to others to try, especially if you like banana flavoring - it is subtle but fabulous.

This conditioner is great, the smell is yummy and the texture is thick and slippery enough that it coats the hair nicely for detangling and is easy to get out of the bottle. I have dry hair and I use the Garnier hair food deep conditioner once in a while, whereas this conditioner is great for use every wash day. It's vegan and silicone free which is a huge plus. The container is a good size (small enough for travel) and you just squeeze the bottle to get the conditioner out rather than a pump, so there's no wastage. I've also tested it out as a leave in conditioner - I have wavy hair and when it gets a bit flat or out of shape I wet it with my hands and smooth in a small amount of conditioner. This works great for that purpose as it's quite lightweight. Garnier is usually quite affordable so I would definitely recommend if you see it at the supermarket.

The conditioner has an amazing tropical smell. It is rich and creamy. I used it after the matching shampoo and my hair had improved condition, less frizzy and fly away and it stayed like that for a few days.

I received the Garnier Fructis Hair Food Banana conditioner and the first thing that caught my attention was the white bottle with a vibrant yellow label telling me that this is vegan, it is recyclable and it's 98% natural!

The bottle is easy to pop open at the top, and the scent is exceptional. The banana scent is honest and true to smelling a banana, I was taken back to my childhood as it reminds me of something nice that I can't quite put a finger on.

The conditioner itself is a nice thick consistency that is easily distributed from root to tip and covered all my hair. I left the conditioner in for a few minutes to get the full nourishment. Easy to rinse out and it left my hair feeling clean and nourished.

I love that this a vegan product, the bottle itself is 100% recyclable and is made from 50% recycled plastic.

My children loved the scent and enjoyed their hair smelling like fruit. The scent lingers all day. Definitely a product I will carry on using for the scent, the result and that the ingredients are 98% natural.

I love a good conditioner that makes my hair soft and nourished but does not weigh it down. I was not disappointed.

I have a lot of individual strands of hair but the strands themselves are very fine. I often struggle with flat lifeless hair when I use conditioners formulated for dry hair ( which my hair is since I colour it a lot).

This conditioner left my hair beautifully nourished but not weighed down. It also smelled good enough to eat.

I was super excited to be on this trial as I absolutely love the Garnier Hair Food range. Thanks BR! If I saw it in the supermarket banana is the one I would have picked first, so as soon as it arrived on my doorstep I ripped it open and couldn't wait to use it. The packaging is cool, it reminds me of a banana smoothie bottle.

The conditioner smells devine! A gorgeous banana scent just like the shampoo. It has a very thick consistency which I love. I use a generous amount and slather it on then let it sit while I go about my shower.  It washes out easily and my hair is left tangle free and silky smooth.

Once dry I am left with smooth, shiny hair! It smells delicious and it isn't limp or lifeless at all. My hair really likes this and I am loving the results I am getting.  I can't wait to try out the rest of the range!

I was so excited to receive an invitation for this trial (thanks BR) because I'm mad obsessed with banana. I tried the mask of this when it first came out and was hoping for a shampoo and conditioner to go with it. Thank the heavens someone was listening as they brought out both eek.

So let's talk about packaging first - comes in a squeezy bottle with a flip lid to open and close. Surprising enough I didn't have issues opening the lid of this like I did with the shampoo.

The smell is so good - smells a bit like banofee pie. This bottle should come with a warning ha ha ha. My hair smells like banana for so long after using the shampoo and conditioner.

It comes out really thick and white (not yellow) and feels like silk when you apply to your hair.

It leaves my hair super soft and and silky. My hair really likes this and gives a nice shine which is an added bonus.

This conditioner comes in a 350ml and smells delicious. The conditioner is white and is a thick consistency and you don't need much of it. My hair felt soft and bouncy and smelt great. It doesn't weigh your hair down at all.

After using this conditioner my hair is left feeling shiny, nourished and healthy. It really smooths out the hair and get rids of any dryness at the ends.

As it is really thick I like to focus the product on the ends of my hair and bring the excess up to the scalp to avoid overloading the roots.

The smell of this conditioner is just delicious, it is super fruity and yummy. Leaves my hair smelling like banana lollies.

I love that this is a vegan product with a lot of naturally derived ingredients but it is still and afforable accessible super market brand.

I will be buying this over and over again, my hair feels beautiful and healthy with this conditioner and I love it!!
