Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Review

I love this BB Cream! It is perfect for me on a daily basis. It is quick and easy to apply with your fingers. The coverage is great, It feels light on the skin, smells fresh and also stays well on your face all day. It really does reduce redness! I am a definite fan!

The cream is fantastic, very light to wear, gave my skin an nice smooth overall finish without looking like I was wearing a tonne of makeup. Great to wear during the day or add a double coat to wear for a more coverage look at night. I would highly recommend this cream to all my friends and it's a product that I will continue to purchase.

As a big bb and cc fan I have enjoyed testing this bb out. It is a very convienient tube, not too big yet not too small so fits nicely in my handbag. However a little goes a long way so you wont go through it too quickly. I found the coverage isnt as great as other bb creams on the market but its enough to hide redness and dark circles so is great for a natural look. One thing i have really loved about this bb is that it doesnt come off when sweating! Every single other bb i have tried 'melts' off when i sweat in the heat, ditto with foundations so it is really good to know that this will stay on when its hot or im exercising. This bb is the one ill be using in summer or if i just want the simple look with a bit of powder over top and lip gloss.

I'm a fair, normal skinned 45 year old. I found this product thick and greasy. I was having to put moisturizer on under it and powder on top to try make it easier to put on and tone down the 'orange' look. I gave it to my niece and daughter to try too and they felt much the same as me. I wouldn't recommend this or buy it. I could feel it on my face all day. Thanks for letting me try it....but not for me.

I have normal to dry skin, very fair, with light freckles. I wear BB cream almost everyday for simple work makeup to even out redness and hide the worst of my dark circles. I normally use Maybelline Dream Fresh. I received the Garnier version as a trial.

I'll start with the things I liked about the Garnier BB Cream. Packaging - I really like that this is 50 ml rather than the 30ml Maybelline so I don't have to buy as frequently. I also like the flip lid instead of a screw top as it makes it a bit easier for applying makeup on the go (I'm often THAT girl on the train, I don't do mornings...). I love that this has SPF 15 which the maybelline BB lacks. This BB is quite thick and provides pretty good coverage over both redness around my nose and dark circles and I didn't need to use as much product as the Maybelline BB because of this. More product+using less makes it more cost effective than the Maybelline too! It also lasts on the skin all day (see tips though). The smell is pleasant and kindof cucumbery which is nice and fresh.

There are a few things that I don't like about this BB. Firstly the texture. I find this BB a bit too greasy even for my somewhat dry skin and made my skin look very shiny/oily. I feel like Garnier confuses 'healthy glow' with super shiny. I am VERY fair (cool - neutral tones) especially in winter and this was a bit too dark for me and too warm toned, I had to blend a lot down my neck to make it look less of a mask and I toned it down a little with the Shiseido powder which also helped to set the BB and make it last longer and reduce the shiny/oily appearance. Packaging-wise, the box was quite busy with too much/repetitive text.

Overall if this was produced in a lighter shade and less greasy I would be more inclined to buy again. Will try again in summer when I have a little more colour naturally!

I have normal to dry skin with the odd breakout at that time of month. Unfortunately my skin isn't as clear as it used to be, I have some sun damage so I can't get away with wearing no coverage like I used to :(, so I am a big fan of bb creams. I found this one had quite a thick texture but it felt nice on my skin, not too greasy and gave the perfect level of coverage! Not too heavy but enough to smooth out my complexion. There is no distinct smell to the product and it is long lasting. I will definitely use this product again.

This product is super easy to apply and it goes on very evenly. I really like the consistency, it isn't too thick but isn't thin and watery which makes it easy to use. I can put it on in the morning and it makes an instant difference to how I look. I'm not a morning person but after putting it on I look much fresher and it evens out my skin tone nicely but I don't feel like it lasts all day. I'm not sure if it's because I have oily skin anyway but it seems very oily on my face and I wasn't a fan of that. I do like the way it smells though. Overall I think this product was OK, the oily feeling it left on my skin let it down. I like the idea of a moisturiser like this!

I use a particular moisturiser every morning and when I use anything new my skin reacts and breaks out. I didn't break out and it's been almost a week and no breakouts :) I noticed how smooth it was to apply, just the right consistency and I loved how much more 'awake' I looked.. Not to mention the coverage was awesome. I have noticeable freckles and they were gone after the 2nd application.. I would def be buying more of this..

Has a lovely delicate fragrance and feels silky light. I'm not sure if it's because my skin is a little bit dry but I found by itself it felt a little bit dry putting on so I used my normal moisturizer underneath and that was great. Gave over all sheer but enough coverage. I do have some broken capillaries on my cheeks which it didn't cover so I used my concealer. Felt nice and light on, not heavy or chalky like some foundations and other BB creams I've tried and yet gave me the confidence of wearing a good skin protector and enough coverage for everyday wear. Seems to with stand the day's hard work too without looking patchy or streaky towards the end of the day. Normally when I change face creams/foundations I have a little break out but I was surprised with this I didn't. I was telling a friend of mine about it only to find out she uses it everyday and loves it. I'm finding a love affair growing myself.
