Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Review

I was accepted onto this trial and was really excited the day my package arrived. I've been wanting to try a BB cream for a long time now but havent gotten around to it so this was a fantastic chance to try it out. I've got fairly normal skin, a bit dry on my forehead and cheeks at times and have a decent coverage of freckles. Ive never wanted a full coverage foundation as to cover all the freckles I'd need a decent mask and prefer a natural look. On squeezing the first blob onto my hand it had quite a dark hue to it and looked quite thick, to be honest it felt weird to apply as I felt it left a residue on my face, and felt a little bit sticky compared to my normal revlon photoready foundation. Coverage wasnt that fantastic but in all honesty it did even out my complexion compared to no makeup (i took a before and after photo). However for my under eyes I had to apply a layer of foundation over top to get the coverage I would want, also on any other problem areas I was finding on the given day. I'm a firm believer in laziness and fingers are my weapon of choice for application and it went on smoothly however I was left wanting to wash my hands afterwards. It does have a bit of a scent to it - not a bad one but one that is there none-the-less, it didnt bother me too much buti definitely notice it when I apply it. Because it has such a light coverage i'm not exactly sure how long it lasts for but applying it about 7 hours ago i can still feel the moisturising aspect on my cheeks when i touch them. The tube has a pop open lid and you squeeze out the amount you want, fairly easy to use and not too much mess or fuss. Day one I did not like this product. Day two I didnt really dislike it Day three i realised it's not a foundation... it's a BB cream and I shouldnt be judging it by foundation standards... it does entirely different things to what I normally would be using so of course it's going to feel different. I will continue to use this although I'm not yet sure if I will buy another tube once this one runs out - I'm not in love with it yet.

I ditched the foundation, and used this cream in its place for a week.

I applied it to skin, with a primer applied 15 min earlier underneath, and with clean fingertips.

I started out with a tiny amount (pea sized) but found I needed a little more to blend past my jaw, and down my neck. It went on well, it offered less coverage than I was used to, but it's a BB cream, not a foundation. I found it's staying power was no where near as "long lasting" as it claimed sadly, and noticed it turning patchy around my mouth and nose around lunch time. I did however find it hydrating, and although the colour and coverage became patchy, my skin was not dry.

I haven't tried many tinted bb creams so was unsure what to expect. The texture is like a really thick foundation so you don't need to use a lot (I learnt this the first time) as it thins out upon rubbing. On its own it just gave my skin a slight coverage and nice glow which works for me as I have reasonably even skin as is. With some powder over top and some bronzer for contouring I could easily get away without foundation at all. Overall I would buy it to use as my day to day to save my full coverage foundation for the weekend =)

I have combination skin, leaning more on the dry side during winter. I usually use the oil free version of this BB cream, daily. I found this product more moisturising than the oil fee, the consistency is a lot thicker, making spillages less likely and it smells nicer too. I found it easy to apply, but the coverage wasn't quite enough with just the one application, so you have to build to the coverage you are happy with. It doesn't state to give full coverage though so no complaints. It was nice to have a fresh dewy look for a change, as the oil free BB cream is very matte. So if you don't like the dewy look you would need to finish off with a powder. I found this product to be long lasting, no need for touch ups during the day. Packaging is ok, no problems with it affecting application. It definitely evens out skin tone, is moisturising, giving you a lovely dewy "glow" and it has SPF protection. But it did not help with blemish correction. I would recommend this to friends, depending on their skin type of course and what coverage they were after. I will keep this product on hand, for days when I want a more natural look, with light coverage. Great for weekend day wear!

I remember trying this BB cream when BB creams first came out and I wasn't so impressed at the time. I remember it making my skin look very oily.

I am however pleasantly surprised that this second time trying this product has been good. It seems they have improved the formula. It smells rather good also.

I've never tried a bb cream before. It didn't have the coverage I thought it would but I wore it a couple of times under my make up and it was really nice as a primer/base. Usually my skin breaks out when I wear new products but I wore this for 4 days and didn't which was nice. I'd prefer a bit more coverage for my day to day makeup though.

A lovely cream. It is quite thick and gluggy like and to start you seem to squeeze out too much but when you know how much you need there is no wastage. Beautifully scented and it certainly does not feel heavy on your face. A great price and I would certainly purchase this cream. The light colour was perfect for my skin tone.

Garnier Miracle BB Cream is my everyday BB Cream. It is easy to apply, even when I'm in a hurry- making it perfect for those busy mornings when I'm rushing out the door. I like the coverage, it is even and not too thick , enough for my skin to breathe. It helps even out my skin tone and cover up redness. I've been using it for a good two years now and always gravitate back to buying it rather than other brand BB creams I have tried. I know exactly the quality and wear I get out of Garnier Miracle BB Cream and trust that it will continue to be a great product!

When I first heard about BB creams way back when I did wonder if they could really live up to the hype!

This BB cream by Garnier was simple, easy to use, and had a pretty good effect. The first day I used it I used it all on its lonesome and I really like the way that even on its own it just seems to give my skin a bit of a boost without having that whole, hey I am wearing make-up here!!! From then I was in situations where I would normally wear make-up so wore it under my normal powder foundation and was impressed at the overall coverage I now appeared to be getting using the combination of the two!

However, for all its good points (which there is plenty), can I say that it is as its title says a Miracle Skin Perfector? No I don't think I can. Can I say that its a great product to use that just helps on those non-makeup days or as a boost to your foundation? ABSOLUTELY
