I think my skin type is fairly normal, I have some oily and some red/dry patches (particularly in winter). My face is a light olive colour. Garnier BB cream has a soft, light consistency that blends quickly and easily. I haven't got a lot of time to spare in the morning so it is great knowing I can quickly apply this product without worrying about streaks or spots. I used it instead of moisturiser and foundation and applied it with my fingertips. This product provides a light/sheer coverage with a healthy glow as the package suggests. I found the coverage lasted most of the day but around lunchtime I could have done with reapplying on the redder/drier parts of my face. I'm not sure how long the tube would last but I only used about a large pea sized amount each morning. The tube makes it easy to get this amount out and not spill or waste any. Garnier BB cream claims to: 1. Hydrate for 24hrs (I remove my makeup after about 14 hrs anyway but found the winter-cold induced red/dry areas around my nose didn't stay hydrated quite this long). 2. Evens tone (yes! Blends into skin quickly and evened the tone) 3. Corrects blemishes (covers minor blemishes, yet to see what long term use will do for this) 4. Boosts healthy glow (yes, especially loving this aspect since it is winter at the moment) 5. UV Protection SPF 15 (haven't seen a lot of sun since using it and I don't burn easily anyway but nice knowing it has this coverage)
I think Garnier BB cream is worth the price, especially considering it replaces moisturiser and foundation if you are after a light cover. If I was after a fuller coverage I would use this product under my foundation. I have used tinted moisturiser in the past but definitely prefer Garnier BB cream. I would recommend this product to friends and family - it's a nice, easy to use, affordable product.
I have normal skin with freckles and getting old. I don't put make-up yet, I envy other women with flawless skin. So here comes BB Cream and I love it! It has creamy consistency that was easy to apply. A thin application is fine with me because I just want it to be as natural-looking as possible. I like the smell and it gives a coverage of finish matte. I'm not a regular buyer of beauty products so its hard for me to compare prices. I always wait for for my favourite products on special and buy a spare. The packaging says it all--informative.
Tips: I'm not a make-up user so I look kinda pale when I used BB cream but a lipstick made my look complete. I'm happy. Plus the SPF 15 is awesome.
