Not heavy at all on the skin but in saying that the oily skin version is very runny. It does blend nicely and does give a matte finish, not for the entire working day though. Not full coverage like foundation (obviously) but covers redness and imperfections nicely. I think I will keep using it in place of foundation as I do feel my skin can breathe a little more with BB cream. I have only tried this BB cream and the Skin79 BB cream and this one if by far my favorite out of the two!

GARNIER'S new BB Cream, combats shiny, oily skin, by combining the power of ultra-absorbent mineral pigments for an immediate matte look and perfect, even-toned skin.
The oil-free BB cream works in five ways. It reduces imperfections, moisturises, gives skin a healthy glow, delivers a beautiful matte finish to skin and provides all-important sun protection with SPF 15.
GARNIER'S Oil-free BB Cream provides instant results while also improving the skin’s quality over time. After four weeks the results are clearly visible; skin is less oily, pores reduced in size, imperfections are visibly reduced and skin radiance is improved.
It has a new active ingredient, Mineral perlite - a powerful volcanic rock extract known for its ultra-absorbing properties.
Mineral perlite is able to retain up to two-and-a-half times its weight in oil and water and is five times more absorbing than talc, meaning any excess sebum is absorbed to fight that oily shine. This combined with uncoated mineral pigments gives the skin an even tone and a perfectly matte finish
GARNIER Miracle Skin Perfector-Oil-free BB cream is available in two shades - light and medium.

Tips: Use underneath foundation for more coverage and set with a powder so your face lasts longer though out the day :)
Loved the texture. Fab coverage (not too thin and not too heavy) but found after having it on a few hours my face started to shine!
In winter I have very fair skin, deepening a shade or two in summer. Unfortunatly for me this BB cream is do dark with an orangey undertone even in the lightest shade (it may colour match in summer better). With that being said the way it made my (dry) skin feel was great, I found it very moisturising and gave the right amount of coverage you would expect from a BB - more than a tinted moisturiser, less than a foundation. If my skin were a deeper tone i would defiantly use!
I didn't really like this BB cream mostly because the Light shade didn't really match my skin colour (I am very pale!), so it gave me an orangey look which is not so attractive...I also found the liquid very runny and goes everywhere if you squeeze the tube just a little bit. However, these reasons are quite trivial and I can appreciate the fact that this product is probably perfect for someone else! (Just not me!)
I just love BB cream nice and light a bit of cover when you don't want a full foundation. But I did find this cream a little bit on the heavy side and didn't apply as easy, I do have dry skin so trying an oil free was most probably not the best idea for me. but was worth a try, I did not get a matt finish. It gave good coverage. I do like the tube nice and easy to squeeze the product out and use, slightl smells like green tea to me.
Tips: Buy the right product for your skin type
I received this as the trail . it comes it really good packaging easy to get product out and use and you will be able to use every last drop by squeezing it out so i like that theirs no lost product .
the consistancy was very thin i spose youd call it. it didnt give me the medium full coverage that i like or hide my redness so I had to put on about 2-3 layers an it looked too much ! after a full days wear at work (office job) my skin was very oily around my nose an forehead even though i applied with rimmel matte powder .
sorry but not a fan !
Packaging was great as it’s in a narrow squeezable tube that means that when you reach the bottom you’ll not have to cut away at it to get the very last drops out, which makes it a very affordable product compared with other types of packaging on the market.
The formula itself seems to be too runny, it squirted out all over the place on first application, and it didn’t have any fragrance as far as I could tell which is great. As I normally apply my BB cream by the use of a makeup sponge, I tried this first but the product got soaked up into the sponge, so a finger and sponge blotting method was best for me. I did find that the colour was slightly on the peachy/yellow side which did nothing for me.
I also used it on my face in different ways too, by trying it with a primer underneath which resulted in the best coverage and lasted all day with no shiny marks finding their way through. Without primer on its own, this let shiny marks and didn’t make it through the day. With powder on top, with primer, this just kept it in place with no shine until time to wash off. With powder on top, with no primer this kept the shiny marks at bay for a while but not for all day wear, needed to blot out the shine.
My verdict is that I am not very impressed and most likely won’t be purchasing again, not only did it not cover my shiny areas but it also dried out the areas of my face that are prone to dry skin, so overall it wasn’t a very effective BB cream for me.
Tips: I would probably use this as a tinted moisturiser rather than a BB cream with either a primer under or primer/powder
I happen to have a port wine stain birthmark on my face and usually use a concealer and a foundation. I have heard wonderful things about these BB creams so was eager to give it a try. First off I noticed it is quite thin, and the coverage isn't very good- but- I believe that's how it's meant to be, a light weight make up. Also in regards to my birthmark it certainly couldn't cover it. Even with concealer underneath (or on top) it just didn't have the same good coverage effect as combining my concealer with a foundation. I very seldom get pimples but on day 3 of using this product I developed pimples - on my nose?! Even though it is oil free it must have created a build up of something on my skin that caused me to have a break out. Because of my personal circumstances (namely my birthmark) this BB cream isn't for me!
Tips: Not good for covering facial birthmarks- stick with concealer or foundation!
Welllllll.......I am known for being a bit of a BB cream addict. I have tried about 40 different ones and to be honest...this one didnt rate. For starters as soon as I opened the lid the cream poured out onto my black top ( it is not coming out anytime soon!). Then when I actually applied the cream I had different opinions- Pros: -Smooths the skin, is very soft and moisturising. -Was a great colour for my skin ( I used the light). -Stayed on all day ( with some powder over top). Cons: - Not very thick, I needed to apply a couple of layers to cover my uneven skin tone and redness. - Smells very much like chemicals. - when touching your skin afterwards, it will rub off very easily. All in all I would not repurchase this, it felt like more of a tinted moisturiser and I prefer a thicker finish.
Tips: Two applications for an even finish.
I have been using this product for a while now, I have been having issues with oily patches on my face/shine during the day so thought I would give this a go. This is the first BB Cream I have ever used, and I usually apply a small amount over my face followed by a light foundation and setting powder. I find it has helped, but not to the extent I thought it would have. I would be interested to try some others and see how it compares.
