GARNIER'S new BB Cream,  combats shiny, oily skin, by combining the power of ultra-absorbent mineral pigments for an immediate matte look and perfect, even-toned skin.

The oil-free BB cream works in five ways. It reduces imperfections, moisturises, gives skin a healthy glow, delivers a beautiful matte finish to skin and provides all-important sun protection with SPF 15.

GARNIER'S Oil-free BB Cream provides instant results while also improving the skin’s quality over time. After four weeks the results are clearly visible; skin is less oily, pores reduced in size, imperfections are visibly reduced and skin radiance is improved.

It has a  new active ingredient,  Mineral perlite - a powerful volcanic rock extract known for its ultra-absorbing properties.

Mineral perlite is able to retain up to two-and-a-half times its weight in oil and water and is five times more absorbing than talc, meaning any excess sebum is absorbed to fight that oily shine. This combined with uncoated mineral pigments gives the skin an even tone and a perfectly matte finish

GARNIER Miracle Skin Perfector-Oil-free BB cream is available in two shades - light and medium.

Garnier BB cream

This product is just ok in my opinion. It gives good coverage but it's a very orange colour so I preferred to use it as a primer with a lighter foundation so that it could balance the colour out. Used as a primer it gives amazing coverage and makes my skin look flawless! The consistency is very watery and a little goes a long way. I quite like the tube, it's skinny so it fits well in my handbag. This is the first bb cream I have tried and I wasn't disappointed.

Tips: Don't put it too close to your eyes as it has a very strong scent and makes my eyes water every time I use it.

It's Alright

As a girl with oily skin who has struggled to find a product that stays in place all day I was dubious about this product. The product is pretty liquidy, not thick at all. Although this sounds great, it was kinda annoying because everytime I took the lid off it pretty much over flowed! Apart from that, it was pretty standard. So, how was it to wear? I was somewhat suprised when I put it on and it lasted through three dance classes! It barely moved, despite sweating and remained nice and even. However, I did have some issues with this product. Firstly, I found the shade was too yellow for my skin. I usually use NW20 in MAC products and this Garnier BB cream was veryyyy yellow in comparison. Secondly, I'm not a huge fan of full coverage makeup and I was expecting this BB to be much more sheer and lightweight than it was. Along with this came an almost mudmask texture once it had dried. This texture did get rid of the oil on my face though which was great!!! Overall, I found this BB to be Okay.... Fine for drug store prices but I'll still be investing in a slightly more expensive, sheer and smoother product.

Tips: I applied this with a brush, after a matte moisturizer and before my powder. It would be full coverage enough without the powder but I felt I needed it to adjust the tone of the BB.

GARNIER'S Oil-free BB Cream is a winner

The coverage is awesome, so even. Totally removes any shine and leaves the skin feeling fresh. Imperfections are gone!

Tips: Apply small amounts at a time. Best applied with 2 layers. Use everyday to tighten pores.

Not enough coverage for me

I have previously used the medium version of this product and liked the coverage. It was a little dark for me though so I thought the light would be perfect. Unfortunately I just didn't find this had enough coverage. It felt like a tinted moisturizer to me. My skin is combo light, light to med in summer. I would try again but probably use it with a primer and then a foundation after on a night old.

Tips: Don't rely on it as a matte base. Try with a primer and oil before foundation trick aka Wayne goss

Pleasantly Surprised!

So my skin type is really sensitive and really dry, a lot of things can irritate my skin and some cosmetics and skincare products can make my face flaky and red and GROSS, so i was a little sceptical. The consistency of this product is really quite watery but has a surprising amount of coverage for this! was a medium coverage BB in my opinion and it lasted really throughout the day, i never noticed any tightness or irritation on my face which was really nice and a little goes a long way which makes monetary value really good. I applied it with a brush and beauty blender and both were really nice finishes, i would say the finish is definitely not matte but semi-dewy i would say. I didn't notice any sort of fragrance which is nice and the packaging is really sleek and attractive, super easy to fit in to bags and things as well! Overall the product did mostly do what it says, although i didn't notice much of a difference in skin tone/pore areas. But am quite pleased with the product :)

Tips: I Used underneath foundation for a flawless coverage and it looked really nice but definitely don't use with a primer as WELL

Newbie: First time using BB Cream - Medium

I got the oily to combo skin, in medium. My first time using BB Cream, I have heard a lot of good things about it. I don't normally wear make up. Only mascara and eye liner on occasions.

So here is what I thought.

Skin type - I have oily to combo skin. My chin and upper lip is the only place I get break-outs/acne. I was concerned this would make me break-out.

Consistency - When I opened it, some of the product oozed out. Product was watery.

Application - It's easy to apply. The box does say to apply as you would your moisturiser. So I did. After I washed my face, I applied the product with my fingers. I rubbed it in, making sure I covered all my face.

Fragrance - It smells like makeup. Im not sure if it's supposed to smell like anything. I couldn't smell anything after I applied the BB Cream to my face.

Coverage - The coverage was matte, and light coverage. I applied it twice to my nose and chin to hide the blemishes.

Longevity - I wore it through out the day, I found my nose started to shine. Lots of oil on my nose, when I dabbed my nose with a tissue to get that shine off, a little of the product came off. Other than that, no other problems.

Price - I see this BB Cream being sold at Countdown and other supermarkets. I haven't brought any other BB Cream to compare. So I wouldn't know.

Packaging - It's easy to just pop into your handbag. The product does spill out the top, there is no need to squeeze any out as it will just ooze out.

Results - I will either have to find out where they stock a different shade or find another BB Cream that has a darker shade as it's too light.

Recommend to friends? Sure, they might even find it works better for them.

Tips: Be careful when you open the lid, the cream will ooze out everywhere. Keep a tissue on hand when opening and closing the lid.

Garnier bb cream

The BB cream I trialed wasn't that great, firstly, the container made all the BB cream leak, and the cream was too liquidy. I really liked the smell. The texture was too liquidy and made my skin very oily, even though it was meant to be oil free. It didn't really help my blemished skin, but it was really nice as a concealer and not as a cream for all over my face. The price is really good for what I got. My tube leaked all over my parcel and made my jeans yuck because the consistency and bottle was very horribly thought and had to put it in a different container so I could control it. It is very easy to apply and it lasted me very very well.

Tips: Use a beauty blender as it makes application much better.

Garnier BB Cream Oil-free

Like other BB creams this is great for when you are feeling too lazy to put on a full face of makeup. On most days of the trial I wore it without foundation. The colour suited me pretty well, but was a little on the orange side (I used the medium shade). Coverage was average, despite being rather runny in consistency. It did however noticeably improve the appearance of my skin by reducing redness and shine. I am confident I'd notice further improvements after using this product over a longer period. I still prefer to use moisturiser along with a regular foundation though.

Garnier BB Cream Oil-free

Skin Type - My skin is a warm medium tan, oily. My specific concerns for my skin is how to control and minimise breakouts and to keep my skin clear and healthy 24/7. Consistency - The BB cream is quite light and a bit runny for my taste, slightly creamy. For me it would actually run out of the bottle even if I was not squeezing it. Application - I apply all my BB creams with my fingertips as it allows me to warm the product up and control application. It is easy to apply but you probably need two coats to reach a medium coverage. Fragrance - It didn't really like the smell of it, it smelt like plastic and chemicals. However, the smell wears off after you apply it and it not that detectable. Coverage - Definetely a light coverage with just one coat due to its runny texture, with a matte, almost powder like finish. To reach medium you need 2+ light coats. Longevity - It lasts for roughly 6 hours, however if you start to touch your face the product may wear off slightly. Price - It is worth the money for what you get. I personally like the Korean BB creams a bit more as they last longer and you don't need to apply as much to get the same coverage. Having said that, the Garnier BB cream is good for day time looks and when you just want to tweak your appearance slightly Packaging - Going back to the runny consistency of the BB cream, the tube and nozzle were a bit too easy for the product to squish out. The product would coat the lid, the nozzle with just the slightest pressure. Results - I didn't break out from it, so the oil-free label must have worked, it doesnt really perfect skin with blemishes on it that easily rather it smoothes out light blemishes and your skin texture.

I would only recommend this to friends who are looking for a light day-time coverage to smooth out and correct minor skin problems.

Tips: Store the bottle upside with nozzle facing upwards to prevent the product form leaking into the lid/cap. No need to use primer, can be used as a base for foundation.

Garnier BB Cream...probably not

I was excited to get this in the mail. I am 34 years old and still get quite oily especially in my t-zone so I though that this product would be a good match. It is quite heavy and I found that it took a while to blend in and almost left a sort of greasy feel initially and then sort of settled it self down. I wore it by itself and it didn't last long at all, I noticed, like I said that it got really greasy. Price wise, it is average and probably a good place to start if you have never tried a BB Cream before. So yeah, not bad but not a huge fan.
