Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Oil-Free Review

I was really excited to try the BB cream after hearing many good things but I was a little underwhelmed after using the product for a week. One of the key points I liked the sound of was that it evened out skin tone. I found that it did an ok job of evening out skin tone but I still felt that I needed a foundation on top and to cover any blemishes. I think it works well as a layer underneath your foundation or would be a good light weight option for summer. I didn't notice a reduction in oil/shine on my skin but the cream did mention that you would start to see this result after 4 weeks of use. After applying the cream it does leave your skin feeling quite matt, but I have to admit I prefer the feel and look of my skin after applying foundation and powder. I'll keep using the cream over the next few weeks and hope to see a few more of the benefits the cream promises!

The consistency of this product was extremely runny making it hard to get the right amount. It was easy to apply however didn't have great coverage.it lasted up to four hours six at the most. My skin did seems clearer and softer after using it for a week. I have a sensitive pale skin complexion and my skin did not get agitated from this product. All up I wasn't very impressed with this product however I would recommend it to someone who had clear skin and just wanted a little bit of tint.

Firstly I must say I was pleasantly surprised by this BB Cream. I was dubious to begin with as I have not had much luck with Garnier in the past. But one should not judge a product by bad experience with a brand.

The packaging is simple and clean. However the product does leak into the lid which can make it slightly messy. I am not sure if this is just a fault with my tube though.

The consistency is very thin and watery with little to no smell which I liked.

I used a flat top brush to apply and also my fingers to see the difference. Both applications were really even and it didn't take much product to cover redness and any little blemishes.

I really like the look and feel on the skin. Its very light weight and smooth without oiliness which was just what I needed in my T and oilier areas on my face. I found that this BB cream did settle into lines and any dry patches (thanks winter) after a few hours. And I could not wear it for longer then 5-6 hours before it needed some love.

Overall I did like this product. I will continue to use it as an easy alternative to a full face for uni and lazy days.

I am unsure if I would purchase this product in Winter as I have dry patches. But in Summer it would be on the list.

Firstly, when I opened the tube for the first time it went everywhere, its really runny!

Coverage is alright but needed two coats to get a good finish.

I will admit it even with 2 coats it felt like I was wearing nothing. Which is fantastic when running after a 2 yr old.

The packaging was cute and I like it.

I only have Avon BB cream to compare it too and I would say this product is better product.

I love wearing this in the summer. If I'm not going for a high end summer one (benefit tinted moisturiser) then I will use this. Especially when I'm at the beach knowing I will get wet and it will come off anyway

It's pretty light in my opinion for coverage so I don't have it in my everyday draw Light is good sometimes but for everyday I prefur an actual foundation covering most(:

I brought mine this morning $12.99 on special at countdown in shade medium, so I thought I should get it and try it out. The consistency of the bb cream is very liquidy/runny I notice that the New Zealand version is smaller than the U.S. one. But I guess that's just how it is.

The first time I applied it I didn't find that my fingers do a good job with it, it makes it look streaky and look like you put foundation on but it does dry fairly quickly. I still have yet to try and apply it with a beauty blender.

I find that it's not really full coverage either.

To me it didn't cover a lot of anything on my face. It also made my skin look light. I guess I just needed a shade darker but I don't actually know if there is a darker shade in nz.

Out of 10 I would say a 5 for now but I will see what it looks like when applying with a beauty blender.

i find this longer wearing with less shine that the other bb creams from garnier. my skin is normal/dry and this is easy to set and gives a nice natural finish. I'm quite pale so i try not to use too much as it can oxidise

I finally gave in and decided to try BB creams. Having used foundations forever it was a bit different for me using something that didn't give as much coverage. I then started to use it as a primer under my make up which gave me a more desired look. I would recommend this product to girls staring out with make up as its a great and easy way to learn application techniques.

I purchased Garnier BB light in the hope to help cover my spots in my face. Unfortunately it is too light and only provides minimal cover. This product is definately for someone with more youthful skin and very little imperfections. I do feel that I still need to add more makeup on my face to cover certian spots. However, it is a lovely product as it is very light.

Loved this product but unfortunately the smell put me off. It has a fumey smell to it and sometimes my eyes would water if I got to to close apart fron that it does exactly what it says I enjoy using it at work, Its light and leaves your face looking natural and flawless. Had some issues with the tubbing leaking out of the cap also got very messy but the product was good.
