Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Oil-Free Review

So, at first I was quite skeptical about trying this product. I had purchased the shade in medium, and it was far too pink for my skin. But alas, I put my hand up to try it in Light, its free so what do I have to lose right? So, the packaging is nice and simple, the ingredients are on the back, along with instructions on how to use the product. The consistency of the product is quite runny, you have to keep your eye on it otherwise it will run away on you. The light, is no where near as pink, and has more orange undertones, which suits my skin colour. The product goes on smooth, and actually has pretty good coverage for a BB cream. It leaves a nice healthy dewy look. This BB cream doesn't break up on my forehead, nose or chin, and seems to control the oil in the places where I need it. My only gripe is that it does rub off quite easily, even when paired with setting powder or a good primer. All in all, its a fairly good product for a reasonably good price. I would recommend trying the product out somehow before you buy it, as even though you might be a medium in one product doesn't mean you'll be a medium in this product.

I like the product for the fact that it is easy to apply, and isn't heavy. Working in a corporate environment I don't like it for an all day, flawless skin look, I feel it isn't great as a foundation alternative for work but in the weekends or popping out at night for a few hours it is perfect.

I think this product is quite "okay". It's perfect for young girls starting to get interested in make up, light coverage, small tinting and it's a moisturizer and sunscreen in one. It's also great for the weekend, if you wanna look okay but not over done for a Sunday afternoon slap this on with some pink lippy and some mascara then your pretty face on a lazy Sunday is good to go. But don't touch your face if you can, it comes off easy and if you sweat easy then this is a no-no.

Great product I have worn it for 5 days now, nice even coverage stays on all day and non greasy, even works well on the dry patches! Of anything I would say a little to orange for me I did mix it with moisturiser to get the right colour for my skin. Overall I would buy this product

I love BB creams and looked forward to trying this one.

I wore this for five days, normally my skin tone suits medium however with this shade it was a bit orange for me, and did not blend very well. I put it on before 9 am and it had only started to lose its wear about 5pm, so it lasted all day.

I like the small amount you need and how easy it goes on, apart from been a darker shade it covered my flaws - pigmentation and a few pimples well and when I covered it with a light powder it took the dark tone right down and had a nice matte finish.

In regards to it being good for oily skin i would agree, my skin did not look or feel oily all day.

Considering it has SPF in it, it has a pleasant odor and once its on does not smell at all.

Overall I would of been very happy with this BB cream but do not think it is suited to a medium tone and will try it again in a light tone.

I have been using this for the past week and have found it to be a great alternative to foundation. It provides great coverage & but is so light compared to normal foundation. I'm looking forward to seeing if this product really does reduce pores and less oily. This is one main problem I have when wearing makeup is the oily sheen towards the end of the day. Hopefully this product will help fix that so I'll keep you posted.

I chose the medium shade for my brown skin, unfortunately it didn't match my skin tone. But I still used it just to see if it does what it supposed to do. After applying a lil toner and lil moisturizing cream I put the BB cream on. Even though it wasn't my colour it came out pretty good. It was well absorbed and skin felt soft throughout the day. I did put a lil Thin Lizzy on top to make the colour a bit darker for my skin. I have extremely oily skin so it was nice to see my skin was a lil less oily at the end of the day. I'm hoping they'll release a darker shade in the near future :)

I always have red blotchy skin, which gets very oily. So I went for the BB cream for the oily type skin. I found the BB cream to be a good consistency not too runny and not too thick. I used a foundation wedge to cover my face. As the coverage was good and easy enough to get around. I found that a little bit went a long way. As I got the darker of the 2 shades avaliable, if I applied too much the colour went more orange than I would have liked. The finish can be a little shiny in places but I did put a powder on after and it looked really good. The BB cream did come off after a little sweating but otherwise was pretty long lasting I would recommend the product if someone asked for a specific type but i wouldnt be going out telling people to buy it.

I am a big fan of Garnier's BB cream range and I use one daily so I was very excited to be chosen to trial Garnier's Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream Oil-free SPF 15. This has a very light and runny consistency to it making the application process very easy (however it does drip from the bottle a bit) and it provides excellent long lasting coverage, it has a pleasant scent and I found that you do not need to use a lot of this product as a little goes a long way making this cost effective in my opinion. I have combination skin and the difference between the one I am currently using and this BB cream is that this has a matte finish to it so I wasn't left with that 'shiny look' that I normally get however I did notice that my skin looked a bit dry and cakey. I tried this with and without moisturiser and found that I have to apply moisturiser before hand because of the dryness however this was not an issue for me as it sat well on my face afterwards. I always use the medium shade from the Garnier BB cream range as I have an olive complexion and normally it blends into my skin perfectly however I found that this tone of medium actually made my face look pale. Whilst this does do everything that it says it will unfortunately I will be sticking to my current BB cream due to the fact that this is too light for my skin even though this was a medium shade. If Garnier can work on getting the colouring right for the medium tone of this product I will definitely purchase this in the future as this is my only criticism other wise over all I do like this.

I have combination skin that is very prone to breaking out so I tend to stay away from a lot of foundations but this worked quite well with my skin! I used the one that is oil free in the medium shade. It is quite a liquidy formula so I used a beauty blender type sponge to apply mine. This gave a matte finish that looked flawless. The lasting power with this was not very great. I felt that after a little while my skin would get quite patchy. To try and avoid the patchiness I would touch up with a powder (also in a matte finish). I liked the packaging as I felt I could squeeze out exactly how much I needed each time. I only used about a pea sized amount for each application so I feel one tube should last a fairly long time so you will be getting value for money. Overall I think this product was a really good alternative for a liquid foundation (minus all the heaviness of wearing a foundation) if it is topped off with a powder to increase the staying power. It does not take very long to apply so it is perfect for all those mornings that I am running late for work! :)
