Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Oil-Free Review

love this bb cream for a drugstore product, great coverage and no powder needed to set also so light and nice on the skin. :)

This is the first BB Cream I've used so I have no point of comparison. However I am happy with the coverage, the matte finish, and the extent to which it reduces redness in my face. Will definitely purchase this again!

The consistency of this is quite watery which caught me off guard at first. It is very easy to apply, I'm fairly casual with makeup so just use my fingers and it works fine. It doesn't have much of a fragrance which is great because quite strong fragranced products don't feel very natural. It reduces redness and the appearance of small blemishes but doesn't cover very obvious flaws and if you have dry skin in any areas the flakiness stands out. It's really light and lasts most of the day although a spare lot for touch ups wouldn't do any harm. I don't use it every day but definitely over 3 times a week and one advantage of the runny consistency is a little goes a long way so the tube easily lasts long enough to be worth it's price. The price doesn't break the bank as I am a student and is great for an easy natural looking product. I do find that the product gets around the lid because it can be fiddly to get back on and the product comes out very easily. Overall I have bought this products as a gift for a friend so would definitely recommend it.

this product is so much better than any other bb cream i have used it worked very well on my skin and did go matte .my only problem was it was a little bit darker than my normal foundation is and i have the shade light . it covered my redness, scaring and it had a decent coverage the coverage is build able and it doesn't cake !. it is a very light runny liquid and a little goes a long way . it has stayed all day ! i applied it at 9 in the morning its 7pm and its still going strong . it hasn't melted anywhere it hasn't grabbed to dryer parts on my skin as many matte foundations do . i would defiantly recommend this and was very impressed with this bb cream as other ones seem to not have any coverage.

I have used a few different bb creams over the year trying to find " the one". This product I found as soon as I took the lid off it came oozing out so (be carefull), I instantly fought I wouldn't be impressed. However I stand corrected, being someone who wont leave home without foundation on. I applied the bb cream within the hour I looked in the mirror and was pleasantly surprised I couldn't see red patches on my chin area my complexion was even and healthy looking. This product was creamy in texture and in no way left my.skin oily or greasy. I did wonder if the colour was a little pale at first but it blends in and the coverage is enough to wear on its own or you can wear it under foundation which will not change your colour at all and I found the foundation lasted all day without any shine. I really like this product and will definitely be a loyal customer.

I purchased the original Garnier BB cream way back when it first came out, and I hated it. While the coverage was good, it made my skin feel like an oil slick and after an hour in the sun, I was almost slimy, not to mention that the shade was too light for my skin and made me look like a ghost.

I was excited to try one suited specifically for oily skin. I also chose the medium shade hoping that it would better suit my skin colour.

When I first opened the lid, it spewed out in a continuous flow everywhere and I had to put the lid back on quickly to make it stop. It is a very light, creamy texture, and goes on and blends beautifully. It has very good coverage and my red acne scarring was quickly lightened. However a good concealer or foundation over it should do the trick. I was disappointed to find however that the medium was too dark for my skin, and almost orange in colour. In saying that, I applied it on half of my face and noticed that it made my face appear thinner. While it is dark, it can be worked with, and you can probably use it as a contour.

It stayed on all day, although I noticed that when I touch my face or fumble with it - which I often do, it comes off ever so slightly on my fingers.

I also love the thin, small size, which is perfect to pop in the handbag for on the go - to use on touchups through out the day.

While it is a good BB cream, I have used other brands that have given me much better results. There are only two shades possible and neither one of them worked for me. I ended up mixing the medium with the light on the back of my hand and applying it on with a foundation brush to get the right colour.

Garnier Miracle Skin! When I initially opened the lid on the BB cream it came rushing out and made a bit of a mess, I was a bit weary of the product after this initial flaw but was pleasantly surprised. Once I had the cream on my face it instantly evened out my skin toned and covered those unwanted imperfections. The BB cream felt light and smooth on my face and the medium colour was a perfect combination for my skin tone (with the added bonus of being SPF15). The BB cream provided good coverage for day to day wear but if I was going out I would want to use another product with this. It was awesome to see the product worked well for my skin and didn't make my skin any more oily than it usually is. I found my skin was clear after wearing it where some other products can cause my skin to break out. Overall I found the product to do what it said and I would definitely use it again for day to day coverage.

I have never worn a BB cream before as I have always been in the mindframe that it would not provide enough coverage for my skin. However I was suprised with the results I got with this. First off when I opened the tube it came out quite watery and bubbly, I just resealed the tube and gave it a good shake and this seemed to help. The consistancy is still quite thin but it seems that, that is how it is meant to be. The other thing that I noticed straight away is that considering that it was the light colour it was quite a lot darker than what I imagined it would be. I decided to try this BB cream in a range of different ways over the course of the trial and see what I got the best results from. Day 1- I did my usual skin care rountine, applied my primer and concealer and then used the BB cream in place of my usual foundation. I only applied one layer as it is quite dark on me. I then applied my usual blusher etc and finished with my pressed powder. I thoughgt it looked quite good and even though the coverage was lighter than I would have got if I had used my foundation I was happy enough with it. During the day it stayed in place and it was only after about 8-9 hours that I noticed a bit of a sheen which I removed with my usual blotting papers. I quite liked the fact that the BB cream didn't feel heavy on my skin. Day 2- I decided to apply the BB cream in place of my usual moisturiser and leave it just by itself. this time I applied two applications and actually ened up taking it all off and starting again with only one application as putting on two made me look really orange. I also did not apply a pressed powder on top as i wanted to see if it would stay but itself. I wasn't really that pleased with the results I got using it this way as I found it slipped quite quickly and I got quite a lot of shiny oilyness through my T-zone. Day 3- I decided to use the BB cream as a primer under my normal foundation as I had read that this was another way of wearing it. I used my normal moisturiser and let it dry before applying the BB cream. Because of the darkness of the Bb cream I did think the overall look once my foundation was applied was a bit too dark but other than that I think it worked rather well. Again it took about 8 hours before I started to notice any shinyness.

Since doing these three applications I have used it in both the first and third way and I definatly like the first way I applied it the most, and I will continue to use it as I do think it does most of what it states it will

No-one could tell me what a BB cream was - not a foundation, not a primer, so what then? Still not really sure but it does what it says on the tin. Pores gone, red patches gone, nice and light but good coverage. Totally happy to wear alone or under foundation. Lasts well enough all day at the weekend but on my oily skin in office aircon I did touch up in the afternoon at work. The box is not attractive. I'm not sure i would have picked it up in a shop based on the box! Also the product is very runny. After the first time opening it there was product all over the lid and you have to be careful when using. Crucially I think it might make it onto my essential list :)

I will update as I use the product more but so far I like how this product instantly hides the redness in the skin because it is quite yellowy based I am fair so it may still be a little dark for pale skin but that makes it good for summer and night time when we can get away with a darker foundation. It did help with oily skin and has a great coverage and evens out skin tone. I have not used it often enough to see long term results I really like how there is 40ml in the tube most foundations only hold 30ml so that makes me more inclined to buy. Much better then the bb creams in the other wider tubes of this brand
