Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Oil-Free Review

Hello Velvet Skin! Now I normally have a forehead which reflects light and could be used as a mirror but this BB Cream changed everything. I had shine free, velvety skin ALL day long! The formula feels more like a liquid foundation verses other BB's I've tried, which generally apply and feel more like a moisturiser. I treated this as I would a foundation and the results were fantastic - after applying a light layer with my fingers, I gave it a few minutes to settle and then buffed another light layer in using my foundation brush. A quick dusting of powder held it in place all day - there was no creasing or slipping! The packaging was cute, easy to use and stored easily in my makeup bag. Highly recommended to the other ladies out there with reflective foreheads.

I'm basically giving up foundation. Well maybe just during the day. This is easy apply, doesn't make me feel like I want to wash my face half way through the day (and start again) and it is a great base for the rest of the stuff I put on my face. I used it always with a concealer but you really do notice that your skin breathes and feels better after a few days.

I'm never quite sure about 'miracles' when it comes to make up but it definitely has made my make up routine healthier and easier.

I have tried quite a few BB creams over the past year and this has to be my favourite by a mile. I have super oily skin and struggle to find a BB that doesn't make it worse. But this one is amazing. It gives great coverage compared to a lot of others that I have tried, so much so that I will wear it on it's own. If I feel like a bit of extra coverage I will use a powder over the top but that's all I feel I need with this. People were really surprised when they asked what makeup I was wearing and I told them it was only a BB. It evens out skin tone perfectly and spreads really easily. I used the light colour which was a perfect match for my skin tone (relatively pale with pink undertones). A little bit actually goes quite a long way! It has quite a runny consistency so be careful when opening it. It stays on all day and really does minimise my shine (which is quite a feat haha).

My skin is actually quite oily, by using this cream, my skin actually felt really well moisturised, and also repaired any area of dry skin i had. It also gave me a really nice warm skin tone. It felt like this cream had reduced some fine lines i had and hidden wrinkles ! It left a very nice smooth tan touch also.

BB Creams have often let me down, with the added sunscreen majority I have tried whether they claim to be oil-free or not have left me in a shiny mess after only an hour.

I have tried the Garnier BB before and really loved the finish but found the colouring to be a little off for the lightest shade.

With the Miracle Skin Perfector not only is it oil-free but the toning is well on point. The coverage is definitely build-able depending on your desired finish.

I achieved an amazing coverage by using a damp beauty blender. Focusing on areas like the nose and cheeks are places that product tends to slip first so by ensuring you have correctly applied in that particular area will make all the difference.

Overall I am super happy with this product. It looks fab worn alone, with powder over the top to set or even mixed in with my NARS Sheer Glow Foundation.

If your a beauty on a budget or heading off on a Winter escape I totally recommend picking this up.

I suffer from a combination oil prone complexion. I was super thrilled to use this product and see what it could do for me. The cream has a liquid consistency and practically runs out of the tube. It was quick and easy to apply, I just used my finger tips mostly in circular motions to apply and this left me with a nice matte finish. There was no intense fragrance to it which I liked and it easily lasted my 8 hour working day. Packaging is typical of this sort of product, not better or worse then those similar. I used the BB cream everyday for the duration of the trial period and I did notice that my skin wasn't as oily as before which is the biggest plus and I cant wait to see some of the more long term effects. I would recommend this to most of my friends as I believe this is a great product. I gave 3/5 for would use again as I kept getting the comment that my face looked too flawless and this gave me a "fake" look. However compliment or not I still enjoyed wearing and reaping its benefits (SPF 15)

Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector. Sounds almost too good to be true. And at first it seems to be. Thick, and too dark (despite being "light"), and felt as though it added to the oil rather than being 'oil-free'. But once you get past that first initial attempt and get it right, it's pretty darn good. It blends wonderfully, hiding all those dark patches and spots you'd rather not have people see. And it lasts. By the end of the day your face is still looking as feeling as fresh as when you first applied it. This is not the product for those who like to go hard on their makeup. But for those who just want to 'perfect' their face, it's a pretty good choice. I would recommend this to others.

I've tried various BB Creams and never had much luck with them, either the colour isn't right, I break out, or it doesn't give decent coverage. That's not so with the Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream.

I love the fact that it's oil free, my skin can swing wildly from being too dry to being combination oily, so having something oil free means I'm not turning into a grease pit by the end of the day.

This BB cream is quite runny, but to me that meant it was easy to smooth out evenly without having too much product concentrated in one area.

I found the colour light was perfect for me, especially in my winter paleness. I put my powder foundation over it to give more of a matt face, and when I'm a touch warmer in colouring in spring/summer then I'm sure I could still use the light and just change my powder foundation like I normally do. I like the fact that it's versatile like that (in my opinion).

I used this everyday of the trial, and everyday since! My new favourite BB Cream!

PS: I noticed a slight improvement in some of the pigmentation on my face... what a bonus!

I was nervous purchasing this as the last BB cream I purchased didn't work well for me, but I was pleasantly surprised. The BB Cream went on well and blended easily. It gave me a decent coverage and a natural finish and lasted most of the day. I do apply a powder and I like that my skin still felt light and natural. I normally get very oily over my T Zone but haven't really had any problems whilst using this BB cream. It is very runny in consistency though which makes getting from the tube to your face a little tricky. All in all very happy and will most likely re-purchase.
