Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Oil-Free Review

I was very interested to try this product, as the original Garnier BB cream was the very first BB I tried when they first appeared a few years ago.

First off, the product is very thin and runny - it dripped everywhere but luckily I was standing over the bathroom sink! This consistency does make it very easy to apply though, it blended out well and I was happy with the level of coverage one coat provided. I would quite happily wear this alone without extra concealer or powder if I was going for a natural skin look. The light shade was a good match for my NC20 skin - not too pink and not too orange, it was just right. It also suits my sister who is a shade or so lighter than me, so it is a flexible colour formula. What I was most interested in was its shine-controlling properties - 7 hrs after application there is a slight sheen to my t-zone but noticeably much less than usual, so I'd say it lives up to its claims.

Overall I thought this was a great budget-friendly buy for someone looking for an everyday BB.

I was very fortunate to get to trial this product. I haven't tried many garnier products in the past so this was a opportunity I didn't want to miss. On receiving the BB cream I had to try it straight away. When I first applied it I thought it looked quite orange but after getting it on my face and blending it in well it was ok. The formula is very liquid so you have to be careful not to squeeze the tube to much or you will end up with a lot of wasted product. I did find I had to work with it quite quickly or it became slightly harder to blend. I also found this was quite buildable so you can choose from light coverage or medium coverage I don't think you could get full coverage with this product. I was quite impressed with how long it lasted on my skin as it looked the same in the evening as it did when first applied in the morning without any touch ups throughout the day. My skin didn't look oily at all during the day. Overall I am very impressed with this product and it gets a big 2 thumbs up from me.

My first thought was that I liked the shape of the bottle, being tall and thin making it easy to differentiate between the different skin types. To the most part it does what it says it would, the coverage is great, I was surprised by how much it evened out my skin for that flawless look, and it definitely gives you a matte finish. It is quite a runny formula and I thought this would have made it easier to apply evenly but I found that it seemed to go on thicker than expected and although it's supposed to moisturise your skin too, I found using a moisturiser first made it easier to apply the BB cream and eliminated any dryer patches from showing up. It is long lasting, my face stayed matte for most of the days I wore it, but applying a matte powder towards the end of the day helped to keep it matte and fresh looking. Quick and easy especially when you don't feel like applying full foundation and the colour was perfect for me (light). Would use again.

I got to try this as part of the trial and I'm delighted! I have tried the anti ageing version and also the sensitive and while I loved them they just weren't right for me, now I'm convinced that the oil free version is my miracle in a bottle. First up I love the longer tube it's a great way to differentiate Garniers BB creams. When I first used this one I found it a lot runnier than the others but hey that's all good, it blended into my skin instantly and so easily I was pretty much hooked from there. I got the light colour and it's pretty close to what I need, I have been using it everyday since I got it and I've now put my other BB creams away! This is my new favourite! It covers my redness and my scars pretty instantly and I'm even not using as much concelar, my skin is feeling great and looks great too, towards the end of my day I usually get very oily around my t zone but so far so good only a tinsy bit of oil and that's right before I take my makeup off for bed. Overall I'm totally convinced with this product it's true to its claims and I definately will continue to use it and tell others, thanks BR I love it!

I really like this product. I have pretty normal skin with oiliness in my T zone. It does what it says it will do by reducing imperfections (Doesn't cover completely, I use concealer for any bad redness or acne) and provides a matte finish. This BB cream doesn't make my face oily and the matte isn't too matte which is great as it keeps your face natural. The formula is light and feels great, just like wearing any face moisturiser. The only downside to this product is the packaging. It is in a tube with a twist lid with quite decent sized hole where the product comes out and because the product is quite thin and liquidy in consistency, a lot of product can come out at once and can get very messy. A pump bottle or a smaller opening in the tube would work better for this product.

It comes in a soft tube which I think is great because I'll be able to get every last bit of the BB cream. The cream itself; I would classify as more of a liquid as it's quite runny. I don't like how easily it comes out of the tube because I wasn't expecting it to be so runny, I squeezed a bit too hard and a bit splattered out.

I firstly applied as recommended, and applied like I would a moisturiser. That was a huge fail. My face was a streaky mess. So I reapplied with a flat top brush and it covered my blemishes awesomely! I was really surprised and happy.

I did need to use concealer on my dark circles and certain spots. But all in all I'm really happy with the coverage. I didn't set it with powder or finishing spray and it is 8.30pm, and although my cheeks, chin and forehead are still covered well, all around my nose, there is pretty much no product left and it's oily, which doesn't really bother me at all. I'm so stoked that this lasted a whole work day for me (8.30-2.30).

I recommend setting it with a finishing spray or powder to get the longest possible wear out of it. I would also recommend to ladies with combination skin.

I thought that this Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream worked way better than i had originally thought. I have never tried these before so i'm grateful that I got the chance and would now consider starting to use them as my skin was no longer as oily as usual and it covered up my face but still looked fresh without the caked on look that make up gives! Overall thought it was a great product!

I was interested in trying this BB cream because I had heard mixed reviews and am quite a fan of BB creams lately. The coverage is quite sheer which you would expect from a BB cream, but it went on evenly and I found it reasonably buildable and not too cakey when I reapplied after the first layer set. Not the longest wearing product though, after a few (3-5) hours I found that it would break down a bit around my nose and chin. I like that this has SPF in it though, so great for wearing every day (but probably will save this one for my good skin days!).

I must admit, I went into this trial not having too high of hopes!! I have tried BB Creams in the past and have not really been too fussed with them. I always just thought they were a remarketed Tinted Moisturizer, and if I was going to wear colour on my skin I wanted coverage that didn't make me look like a dirty, shiny mess (which I have found with tinted moisturiser).

Despite my hesitations I am always keen to try new products and when I heard there was an Oil Free option I jumped at the opportunity to give this product a go.

BB Cream – Oil Free in Light The BB Cream came in a nice black box with a picture and details of the product on the front/back, which gave it an upmarket feel (rather than in a clear fronted package or singularly). The bottle itself was long and slender with a cream colour, silver touches and a screw cap.

The formula is extremely runny which you must be careful of when opening up the cap otherwise it will drip everywhere. I first applied this using my fingers which was a little messy and uneven, however I applied this under my foundation so was not too worried as I would even it up upon foundation application. I was amazed at the results I got under my foundation. My skin looked smooth, healthy and Oil Free… I couldn’t quite believe it!! Another bonus, I did not need to apply as much foundation and did not need to set with powder as it left me with quite a matte finish. Most of the time I wore this under foundation using different tools for application: Fingers, Sigma F80 & RT Blender. I found the product was best to apply with either a brush or blender. The F80 gave a more sheer finish while the Blender heavier, I would recommend using brush or Blender not fingers. The last couple of days I have worn the BB Cream on its own with concealer and a little powder. I find the BB is great when building up and actually thought I would not need a foundation when applying two coats! I remained Oil Free all day and even received compliments on how flawless my skin looked! I initially thought the “Light” may have been too light but was really happy with the colour but I think I would use the Medium in the summer months. I always applied over moisturiser as I moisturise as soon as I have got out the shower. I have marked lower for results as I have not used for 4 weeks so unable to vouch with their 4 week use claims.

Overall I LOVE this Oil Free Garnier BB Cream and will make it a staple in my beauty routine. It really did make a difference in the appearance of my skin.

This BB feels so smooth and light when you put in on, and it blends super easy. The coverage is awesome, it easily evened my skin tone out. My skin is feeling super soft at the moment and I have been thinking to myself that my pores look less visable lately and then I realised that was one of the claims made about this BB so I would say it's been doing its job! I have worn the BB serveral days and have had a mixed bunch some days my skin stayed matte and others was very oily but both days I did think by the afternoon the coverage had gone and I needed to reapply, using a finishing powder helped a little with this. I will definitely be buying more of this when I run out well worth it!
