GARNIER'S new BB Cream,  combats shiny, oily skin, by combining the power of ultra-absorbent mineral pigments for an immediate matte look and perfect, even-toned skin.

The oil-free BB cream works in five ways. It reduces imperfections, moisturises, gives skin a healthy glow, delivers a beautiful matte finish to skin and provides all-important sun protection with SPF 15.

GARNIER'S Oil-free BB Cream provides instant results while also improving the skin’s quality over time. After four weeks the results are clearly visible; skin is less oily, pores reduced in size, imperfections are visibly reduced and skin radiance is improved.

It has a  new active ingredient,  Mineral perlite - a powerful volcanic rock extract known for its ultra-absorbing properties.

Mineral perlite is able to retain up to two-and-a-half times its weight in oil and water and is five times more absorbing than talc, meaning any excess sebum is absorbed to fight that oily shine. This combined with uncoated mineral pigments gives the skin an even tone and a perfectly matte finish

GARNIER Miracle Skin Perfector-Oil-free BB cream is available in two shades - light and medium.

Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream Oil-free

This product would have been more suited to try and review in summer because of the SPF in the BB cream. However, I do feel like the product gave my skin a healthy glow and was really easy to blend into my skin. I always set my foundation or BB creams with a powder because my face is quite oily. But with this product my face stayed matte for much of the day which I found to be really great.

Overall this product was great and I would recommend it for anyone who suffers with quite oily skin and someone who likes quite a sheer coverage.

Total Convert!

This product does give a masque-like appearance when first applied, but after a few minutes the colour seems to settle in to give a more natural look. I found it did most of what the packet promised – it seemed to shrink my pores, it covered redness, it stopped a shiny nose and gave my skin a smooth texture and even appearance while still looking relatively natural. Blemishes such as spots were minimised but I still had to use a bit of concealer to hide them completely. And it really did last all day long! I had the idea it would act like a tinted moisturiser and perhaps be a little too greasy for my skin but the ingredients act like a clay masque soaking up excess oil – perhaps a little too much so because I had to use moisturiser underneath on my cheeks to counterbalance the drying effect. The price is extremely reasonable for the size of the tube and it does what more expensive creams claim to do. Also liked that I could easily fit the slim tube into my makeup bag.

Tips: The instructions say to apply like a moisturizer but I found it more helpful to apply like a liquid foundation. You can’t just slap it on - because of the pigmentation you’ll get streaks if it’s not blended properly. Use warm fingertips and a patting motion to settle the colour, and apply from the centre of your face outward. It’s not as heavy as foundation but you can apply it twice to get the foundation effect.

Garnier BB Cream Oil-free Review

This product is fantastic. I struggle with a super oily T zone while the rest of my face is sometimes dry. Applying the BB cream after cleansing in place of a foundation will keep the oil at bay until the evening. It's easy to apply and blends well, leaving a radiant matte finish that gives my skin a healthy glow. It's relatively cheap and only a small amount is needed, making it well worth the money. It's packaging is quite bland but when the product itself is so great who really cares! This BB cream evened out my blotchy skin tone and, when combined with powder, provided a full face coverage that lasted all day. I would definitely recommend this to anyone not keen on a heavy foundation but who still needs some coverage.

Tips: Using the BB as a base and applying powder on top gave a healthy, radiant finish that lasted all day.

Wonderful BB cream!

I really enjoyed this BB cream, the coverage was exactly what I needed. The consistency was alright, it was just a little runny. The packaging was also nice, just a bit dodgy on how hard it was to get out the amount I needed. My face did feel rather oily/ greasy at points of the day, but that could just be my skin.

Tips: Wear a good translucent powder over the top.

Skin Perfector BB Cream

I really like this product as I do suffer from oiliness around the T-Zone. I dont like to wear foundation so this is fantastic as it lets your skin breathe while giving you a nice glow with SPF and amazing minerals that correct the oiliness too. I think it is fantastic. I feel really good wearing the BB cream knowing it is doing so much. I will keep using this product and it will be interesting to see if it delivers what it says it does with reduced size of pores and reduction of imperfections. But I need more time for that. Highly recommend this product.

Tips: U dont need to use much. Just dab on cheeks, forehead, nose, chin, neck and blend in well.

Garnier miracle skin perfecter

I have tried quite a few bb creams and I will admit garnier miracle skin perfector is by far the best yet. Not only did it give me more coverage than the rest it felt light so I didn't feel caked with make up . The other thing I like is how natural it looks and it lasts all day. So if you wanting a nice natural look with great coverage then Garnier miracle skin perfecter is the one to use.

Tips: I found it best used on a freshly cleansed face double check your colour as the medium is a little darker than expected

Pleasantly Suprised!

This BB cream is great and really did live up to the hype. I have used this in replacement of foundation and was great for work. I felt the product itself was quite runny, but when on the skin, it spreaded out well. I have a lot of redness in my cheeks and use a double layer of the BB cream and it completely concealed it. When used alone, it lasts well into the day, however did tend to wear off a wee bit on the nose. When used with a primer it lasted all day. I also tried it as a base under a full face of foundation for a night out and it definitely created a smooth finish and stood the test of time. The cream leaves your skin feeling soft and smoother and from using it for two weeks, I've already noticed it does help the appearance of pores. It is a big sized tube and even though I have been using 2 layers of the cream each day, a little goes a long way. It's awesome how buildable it is, without feeling heavy or cakey on my face- sometimes I forget I am wearing it. My only negative would be that in some light I felt the medium shade did look a little orangey. I love this product, will continue to use it and confidently recommended it to others.

Tips: Use 2 layers for fuller coverage.

Good Stuff!

My skin type is oily/combination but I think this particular product is too oil free for my complexion. It dried it out and didn't sit in the pores too well.

I am approaching fifty and probably needed the anti-aging version but I don't have many wrinkles around my eyes so applied for the Oil Free product as it seemed more appropriate, my mistake.

On saying that I liked a lot about this product.

It's consistency, which is fluid, is like a mixture between a foundation and moisturiser. This made the application relatively easy, but I needed two layers for it to give complete coverage.

The fragrance wasn't obnoxious thankfully. It lasted fairly well too, for most of the day without needing reapplication.

I have recommended this product to a friend with dry skin issues but suggested she try the one specifically for her skin type.

All in all good value for money and the cardboard packaging is minimal which is a plus point.

I would definitely be open to buying the anti aging product in the line, it would be more appropriate in general for my skin type.

Tips: Make sure you buy the one most appropriate for your skin type, then I think you will be impressed. I would recommend a primer first too. The way it sits in your pores isn't that great.

One of the better BB creams

I have combination skin, it's oily in the T-zone, and dry around the edges. This makes for a difficult foundation choice. So I always appreciate when companies come out with a 'combination skin' version. I used Garnier BB Cream Miracle Skin Perfector - Combination to Oily Skin in Light/Clair. I found this BB Cream to be quite good actually. It's thick enough to provide good coverage, but still light enough to feel like you don't have much on. I find the colour blends in well to my skin tone, and I don't get the obvious line between my face and my neck. I do feel that this BB Cream is a bit on the dry side (being oil free), this may be better for ladies with slightly more oily skin than myself. I use quite a thick moisturiser prior to applying the BB Cream to combat this. Overall, this BB Cream is pretty good. It stays on most of the day (may need to reapply if going out at night), and feels light yet provides good coverage. For the price (I think it retails for about $18-20 in the supermarket), it's a really good option for a BB Cream. I would definitely recommend this to friends, who were after a nice light option for foundation!

Tips: If the cream gets stuck in your pores, tap your skin with the tip of your finger, and it will blend in.

Skin Perfector BB Cream Oil-free - Light

I have combo skin type, however during the change of seasons I do get really dry (especially going into colder weather). But during the times when my skin is combo, my T-zone gets rather shiny. When I first opened this up to try it, I was not expecting something SO runny! Which of course lead to getting too much product out! although it’s really runny, it is really easy to apply. I definitely love how it doesn’t have a fragrance! When applying this, I found that the coverage isn’t that great. So naturally, I applied again. For me personally, the coverage is buildable, but only to a medium coverage at most. What I did most of the days was to use a powder over it and with the powder, it did last me a good 5-6 hours. However, without the powder, I found that I stayed on maybe a maximum for 3 hours. Price, wise, it retails for about $17 if I remember correctly. I think it is definitely worth the price for what it claims to do. However, compared to other products, there are definitely other bb cream that does a better job. Having done design and graphics, I’m not a fan of the packaging. The fact that the product is extremely runny, I don’t think a tube is the best idea. However, aesthetically, I think its average. It’s the standard Garnier colours and logos. After testing this product for a week, I have noticed that it does control shine on my T-zone, for the majority of the day. The finish of this is matte. They claimed that it reduces pores, however I can’t say much about that as I naturally don’t have large pores. They also say that it corrects blemishes, this definitely did not happen for my. But it did even out my complexion, and my skin did feel hydrated. After trying this, I would definitely recommend this product to a friend who has the same skin type as me! 

Tips: I found that when applying this BB cream, it is definitely easier for me to use my fingers. When I had tried it with a brush, I found that I needed more, same goes for a beauty blender. This BB cream can easily be used alone on a everyday basis just for light coverage. However, this could also be used as a base for foundations.
