Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Anti Ageing Review

This is the first time I have used a BB cream of any sort. I was just completely confused about what it was supposed to be for and when I would use it. I was very excited to get the chance to trial this.

My beauty product collection is generally centred around skin cleansing and moisturisers so it was good to try something that I had never really considered. I still used this over my normal cleansing and moisturising routine.

This product has very good light coverage for someone like me that doesn't use foundation on a daily basis. I am a total convert and have been using it almost every day. The consistency is thick, but it spreads well, so not too much needs to be used each day. I found it lasted well during the day and I didn't need to reapply at any stage.

I have fair, freckly skin so I asked for the 'light' colour. It worked well for me, and smoothed out a lot of the freckles, so my complexion appeared a lot more even.

This is a really good product, and good value for money. I also like that there is a SPF15 in it - one less thing to think about! I think that Garnier could look at their packaging and improve the design/look of the tube, but since that's the only really negative thing I can think of, I think they're doing pretty well.

I really liked this product. I am not keen on heavy foundations that slip during the day - so this product was right up my street.

I used it after cleansing and toning each morning. It is easy to apply and covers really well. The colour suited my fair skin perfectly - no orange or caked-on look here. I used it both with and without make-up - my skin looked smooth and natural both ways.

It was non-greasy and lasted throughout the day, still looking as good as when first applied in the morning. My skin did not get oily or dry out.

After 10 days, I'm not sure I could vouch for my laughter lines being any less obvious but I was happy with what the product did do.

Only negative was the packaging - it looked like there was a sticker on the box giving the overview of the product - at first I thought the packaging looked like it was a 'parallel import'.

The only other point - make sure your skin is dry after toning - water and the cream do not mix.

What a lovely product. Having used one brand of make up for a long time I thought it was time to try another brand well I love this BB Cream. The scent was very pleasant. I felt that you didnt need a lot and it stayed on well. I was worried about only 2 shades and I trialled the light and it was perfect for me. Would certainly purchase this product again.

Having never used a BB cream before I was super excited to try this one! The packaging is very cluttered, it certainly wouldn't stand out in the supermarket aisle as something I would look at twice. Perhaps there's scope to simplify the box and put some of the factual info in a leaflet or on the tube? On first try the cream looks really thick and I was a little apprehensive but it smoothed out in my hands and glided on smoothly. My skin tone looked much more even after application but I did find that it made my parts of my face felt a little oily. I held of writing this review until the very very last minute hoping to see some signs of the MIRACLE anti aging but alas no :( All in all it's easy to use, smells great and I'd buy it again to use when I'm rushing and need something quick and also to use under my "going out" makeup as a base :)

I have a few fine lines around my eyes and have some redness either side of my nose and on my chin. I quite liked the consistency of this product, it was light and airy, almost a mousse like texture and it was easy to apply. I trialled this product in Light however, found it was too dark for my fair skin tone and gave my skin an almost orange tint. It is very sheer and did not provide any coverage on my skin whatsoever even after applying a few layers. I did find that this product kept my skin moisturised however, did not do anything to blur the lines around my eyes. Whilst this product has a nice texture and provides good moisturisation, I would not buy this product and feel there are better BB creams on the market such as Maybelline Pure BB cream.

This wonder product is great as a light coverage or with powder or as I often wore it, under a foundation for an evening look. It is moisturising without being greasy and was great for my older skin as well as my daughters who is 18.

Was intrigued to try this product and was pleasanlty surprised. The texture of the product felt rich and creamy to me, but did have a fragrant scent. It applied well with a natural look and a radiance that to me did seem to minimise the appearance of fine lines. It did have a slight firming affect when applied, but I didnt notice any great hydration increase to my skin. But it didint dry it out either. The coverage was natural and did dull down my high check colour which I always have trouble with. All in all I think this product was good value for money, and if you want a natural no make up look with some coverage it would be a good option. I would wear this a weekend make up or for travel to a warm climate when you dont want full coverage but need a suncreeen

As a woman in her early 40's I am naturally interested in a cream that can assist my skin to hold off the signs of ageing, so I was really pleased to trial the Garnier BB Cream. Overall my skin is usually pretty good, with a slightly oily t-section at times. I am prone to breakouts though, as my hormones work their way through getting older - joy! I have some freckling around my cheekbone area, so I was hopeful that the promise on the box of correcting blemishes would come true.

The consistency of the cream looks heavy and thick, but it is surprisingly light, goes on well, with good coverage. I applied it just with my fingers and I found that it is true that less is more. I only needed a small amount to cover my face. I found the fragrance of the cream very pleasant, and not overpowering. The fragrance didn't seem to conflict with other scents I applied (e.g. perfume), it is a light floral scent.

I found the product covered well, however I was disappointed that it didn't really deliver what it promised, as my blemishes were still evident and not corrected, as promised. I also didn't feel my skin tone was even, as stated on the box. Having said that I did feel my skin was hydrated well, without feeling moist or greasy.

I did feel the product lasted the majority of the day, with only one issue where I had applied it one morning very early, before travelling, and around mid-afternoon it was pointed out to me that the cream had gathered along the lines around my eyes and was actually emphasising my wrinkles, rather than reducing them. It was embarrassing, but easily fixed by smoothing out with my fingertips.

Price wise this product is at my local supermarket for under $20 and I think it is well worth that, and a bit of a bargain. Because of the little amount you need to use it will last for many applications and therefore is very economical.

The packaging is a bit "busy" with alot of information on it, however it is appropriate for the product and when you are trying to decide which product is for you while standing in the supermarket aisle, this will make your decision so much easier.

I have only been using the product for a week, but so far overall I am happy with how it makes my skin feel. It doesn't necessarily deliver on all that it promises, but it seems a great base to the rest of my make-up regime. I like that it contains sunscreen, and I wonder if longer term use may assist in correcting my blemishes and evening out my skin tone, and eventually the better hydration may reduce the production of wrinkles in the least.

I would recommend it to a friend if they were looking for an economical BB cream to wear as a base as part of their skin care regime.

I was very excited to hear I was picked for this as I had noticed a few wrinkles lately, I was also a little worried as I had been using natural products for a couple of years now so wasn't sure how my skin would react. Thankfully it was fine, it glided on like silk and my skin still felt like it could breathe, it covered all my wrinkles and even some of my blemishes! and seemed to stay on all day, also worked well with my normal natural moisturiser, this was a lovely cream that I would certainly use again!
