Garnier Skin Perfector BB Cream Anti Ageing Review

I loved the packaging. Having never used BB cream before, I wasn't sure how to apply but packaging explained clearly. It surprised me how thick and dark it was.i nearly didn't try it as I thought it wasn't right for me. Gave it a go and was pleasantly surprised. It went on smoothly and gave my skin a lovely glow. The fragrance was a little strong but not overpowering.

I was sent the Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream in the Anti Ageing to review. I have tried the Garnier BB Cream in the Normal formula which I did really like and thought being in my 30's that the Anti Ageing formula would be good to try. I can say that for the most part I really like this formula- it has great coverage and is hydrating. I don't necessarily feel that it made my skin feel much firmer. I don't really have many visible wrinkles at this stage so I can't comment on the claim that it reduces wrinkles. My skin tone did appear more even and as the Anti Ageing formula is a bit heavier than the Normal formula, I didn't feel the need to apply a bit of foundation over it as I normally would. My skin tends to be quite dry in the winter so I found this formula perfect for the winter season. I would probably end up using the Normal formula in the warmer months as I think this formula would make my skin a bit greasy in the warmer weather. I found the texture to be more like that of a creamy foundation than that of a moisturiser so I still used a moisturiser beforehand and the product felt much nicer applied over the moisturiser. I would use this product again.

I found this product to have a nice smell and it was easy to get out of the tube a little at a time. It applied easily, though as I am 47 I found that for good coverage on my nose and any healing blemishes I needed to go over those areas with a powder foundation.

I liked the natural look and the way it evened out my skin tone. I spend half my time outdoors and need sun protection but don't want to look 'made up' so this worked well.

My only problem with this product is that I have very oily skin, and after just 2 hours I had go and blot the shine away and top up with some powder. I would definitely try the oily/combination skin one to see if it had the same result as I really liked the product.

This does what it says, it provides a good even colour. It's a little greasy for my skin, not too bad though.. I got the medium colour, it is a lil bit too dark for my skin but would be okay for going out at night.

I tried this BB Cream; it applies really smoothly and takes the shine away. However, I have really dry skin and after a couple of hours my skin looked a bit chapped and dried out, and the cream 'crept' into some wrinkles and made them more apparent. I have really sensitive, dry skin, though, and I think with a different skin type, normal-oily, this would have been a hit!

I have trialled the BB cream Anti-aging for a week now. It has a faint fragrance which is not overpowering in any way. Application is smooth and it has a creamy texture which makes it very easy to apply. I trialed the Medium shade. I have a few areas of mild pigmentation and although it helped these they were still noticeable after application. Having said that it did even out my skin tone well If you are after a thicker coverage you may need to consider concealer as well. It did give a nice illumination to my skin and I love the fact it has an SPF factor. As for the claims to reduce wrinkles... I have not seen any difference however I have only trialed it for a week so it would be a miracle cream if it achieved that in such a short time frame. Given the great price point and the benefits I have gained from it I will continue to use it.Well done Garnier for this great multi tasker at a great price!!!

This was light and easy to smooth on. It was a quick make up routine. Didn't get stuck in the wrinkles either! My skin did have a lovely sun-kissed glow about it, thanks to the mineral pigments. My skin also felt hydrated when I had the cream on. It did'nt really cover blemishes or red ness very well.
