I loved how it had a pump so it was easy to use in the shower. Fragrance was a subtle citrus smell not too overpowering. It foamed up really well and went onto my skin easily. My skin felt refreshed after using it and i did notice that it was a lot brighter. I love how you can buy Garnier products at the supermarket so they are very reasonably priced.

Tips: I used the Garnier Vitamin C micellar water to take off my makeup first then used the clarifying wash and found they worked well together.
The first thing I noticed when I lathered up the face wash was it's beautiful citrus scent. It left my skin feeling clean and refreshed and did a great job of removing my makeup. Not sure if I'd say my skin is 'glowing' from it, but my skin seemed to like it. It did not cause any irritation whatsoever and my skin was not left feeling dry, which was great. The bottle itself was easy to use - no issues with the pump. I used the product generously twice a day, and there is still some to spare. I am going to buy myself another bottle!
Again, this doesn't look overly special, it has the standard Garnier simplicity about it. The pale ish yellow tone does make you think vitamin C though. The bottle and the pump are nice and sturdy. The pump is generous with product, so I quickly learnt to only do about half a pump - the amount of product you get out is still more than enough. It has a light scent, but nothing over powering. It foams up well and removes even waterproof mascara with ease. My face felt clean but not tight or dry after using. This also doesn't sting if you get it in your eyes. Has it made my skin less dull? I'd like to think so, I certainly haven't had any breakouts from it so that would be enough for me to keep using it. Given how little of it you need, a bottle will last a very long time so it's very economical.
Tips: Don't use a whole pumps worth!
I just love a facewash that comes in a pump! It's just so easy to use, no messing about with lids. It has a really great lather so I found it really soft on my skin, although that made it quite easy to get in my mouth...(it doesn't taste so great haha) It took me a couple of days to realise that I only needed ONE pump to have enough product to wash my face and neck. A little goes a long way! Did I notice my skin was brighter? No. Is it a good clarifying wash? Yes! I managed to get a line of biro on my jaw (mysteriously) so I thought I'd test it's true power and it washed it away in seconds! My only downside, I felt the scent was quite strong and took a little getting used to. Overall, a really good basic facewash to have in bathroom cabinet. It works wonders to wash away the day (and amazing at washing off sunscreen).
This foaming facial cleanser claims to gently cleanse while brightening facial skin. The product is delivered via a pump bottle which makes for easy dispensing. I find half a pump is enough to wash my face and neck. The lemon coloured clear lotion smells pleasant and is gentle yet thorough. It has not aggravated my sensitive skin. I haven't seen any 'brightening' aspect to my skin, but maybe it will come in time. Overall, I would purchase for a basic, pleasant facial cleanser that doesn't aggravate my skin.
Tips: Try with matching moisturiser for better brightening chance.
I received this cleanser to try in combination with a Garnier eye cream and moisturiser. I mention this because when you try more than one product at once, it can be hard to tell what is making the changes you notice.
In terms of ease of use, this product was well-packaged. It's easy to open and close, the pump makes it easy to get product out and the clear packaging makes it easy to see how much you have left.
Unfortunately, my standard problem with my skin is that it gets dry in winter, my pores clog up and I get zits. This cleanser seemed to cleanse enough to dry out my skin, but not enough to clear out my clogged pores. As a consequence, I think I was using too much moisturiser and ending up causing breakouts.
This cleanser might work for me in summer, but in winter it's no good for my dry skin. I'll have to go back to my oil cleanser!
Fresh smelling, light face wash that I absolutely enjoy. Leaves your skin soft and hydrated. Must say I was pleasantly surprised and will purchase again for sure as well priced and easy to purchase at most stores
Wow. First, that fresh burst of citrus scent wakes me and my skin up! It's gentle and summery and easy to lather up. One pump is all it takes, but I wash twice, nevertheless a little does go along way. I've found my skin change over 3 weeks, the dull dry patches have cleared up and it's left my skin so much softer and brighter. I love how your able to close off the pump, especially with little hands in the house. Overall it's easy to lather up, whether on a face sponge or in your hands, it doesn't leave any sticky residue and does leave a nice glow. I'm looking forward to trying more products in the Garnier range, especially the natural products.
Tips: A little does go along way, I recommend using a facial exfoliator glove/cloth if you do not have an exfoliator.
This wash did a really good job removing makeup within the first wash, it also smells really nice. It definitely cleanses well however if you have skin on the dry side and maturing skin it’s not the best. It made my skin feel dry afterwards which I wasn’t the biggest fan of
Tips: Not for maturing dry skin
As a preface: I have post-partum, combination skin with occasional breakouts, fine lines and hyperpigmentation. I have been using Ethique's range to reduce plastic consumption and to avoid sulfates as much as I can.
I wasn't expecting too much with this cleanser, it's in a plastic pump bottle and the first ingredient after water is sodium laureth sulfate so I used it with a little trepidation. To its credit, it does what it says on the tin (/bottle); it cleans. I found it to be a perfectly acceptable second step in removing makeup. I also used it in the morning to see what it was like as a cleanser on bare skin, and it was just fine - it left my skin clean without feeling too dry.
I'd hazard a guess that the vitamin c aspect is a gimmick, given you're rinsing the product off before it was a chance to do anything.
Tips: Use as a second step in removing makeup if you must.
