Not for me

I tried this product a while ago when BB creams started coming out, I originally liked it as I had nothing to compare it too, but as I found other products I realised you can get better for your buck. It left my skin quite oily and inturn created more breakouts, also the coverage was not that great.

Tips: You are better off shopping around. I found a tinted moisturiser did just as much.

I tried so hard to like this!

Every time I uses this it clumped up and flaked off as well as not giving me a even tone. It was fairly easy to apply but then this happened.. maybe it was off?

I have combination skin but its super sensitive so I tend to always go for a sensitive skin product, this miracle cream gave me so many pimples that I feel like a teenager again. What is with people making things for sensitive skin super oily??

The cream its self was a medium thickness and only had a subtle scent on sunscreen. I gave me thin coverage but the shade was weirdly orange which is strange since it was meant to be the "light" shade. It last half the day before it started going even more uneven.

Really don't think there is any miracle to this cream, it just made my skin horrible while making me look like I didn't know how to apply make up for a few days... embarrassing!

Tips: My tip would be not to use it..I used this product 4 days in a row in different ways.. With Moisturizer and without, as a base to my foundation and also with powder on top. No moisturizer with foundation over the top was the only one that was semi bearable, only because my foundation pretty much covered it up.

Not overly fussed

I was lucky enough to be sent the Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream (Sensitive Skin and colour is Light).

Firstly the packaging is good; nice and clear in describing what the item is for and what it does. The tube is a good size with an easy to use flip lid.

I usually use either plain moisturiser or foundation because my experience with BB Creams/tinted moisturisers have never been that great; too dark, too oily, comes off in flakey bits.... List goes on. I've just had my wisdom teeth removed so I have bruising all over my cheeks; I haven't wanted to wear heavy makeup due to it being painful to apply, so I thought this would be just right for the last few days.

The application was easy and smooth, and a little seems to go a long way. I had trouble with it being too dark but I think it's just because I've been red, bruised and discoloured; so next week It might look better.

The consistency is good, as above it's smooth and you only need a little bit. I didn't try it with any makeup overtop because I didn't need to; I haven't gone out anywhere but the supermarket. But I think if I were to wear makeup overtop I would have to apply it very carefully and naturally; I believe it would rub off into balls and pool into different colours on my skin.

The smell is fresh and clean, and it seems to wear well over the day. Easy to remove with a makeup wipe at the end of it all.

Overall, I wouldn't buy it (or any other BB Cream) again, purely because I don't think I'd wear it very often and I prefer "all or nothing". It didn't add to my skin-confidence and I didn't feel like doing my hair or dressing nicely (which I usually feel like doing when my hair and face is 'done').

I'd say compared to the last Garnier BB Cream I tried, this was marginally nicer. It would suit clear and blemish free skin, better, I believe.

Thanks BeautyReview xxx

Tips: Ensure skin is clean and dry before applying. Also make sure it's not over-applied.

High hopes; let down

I have very sensitive skin so am always weary of trying new products. I had hopes for this BB cream to become an everyday wear product. I loved how it felt going on. It was light and easy to apply, just like a moisturizer. BB cream had a lovely sheer coverage and It did give my skin a lovely glowing look which i liked. However, not long after applying my skin became blotchy on my cheek bones. I also noticed that it easily came off if i brushed against something. I would recommend to people who dod not have very sensitive skin however for skin like mine i do not recommend.

Tips: Even though it states sensitive skin, test on a small patch first. Don't go lathering it on like i did.

Garnier Sensitive BB Cream

I received this product to trial from Beauty Review and I do not like this product. I have tried to use it various ways - with a brush, with a beauty blender and with my fingers. The best way to apply was with my fingers. I also tried it over primer by itself, over primer under foundation and finishing powder and by itself. I did not like it either way. I found the product to be too greasy for my skin and all three ways it was very patchy. Especially on and around my red nose, it did not blend well! The product promises to reduce redness, for me it definitly didn't . It did however even out most of the rest of my face and did illuminate, but i think that is only because it was quite greasy looking. The colour was a good match (light) and it smelled ok but i would not buy this product again.

Nothing Miraculous Going On Here

I have sensitive skin that can be quite dry and red. Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector BB Cream was light and almost watery on the skin, spread easily but didn't blend very well when using the fingers. The BB cream didn't have a very strong fragrance, and I couldn't smell it after I had applied it. It had a VERY sheer coverage - even after two applications it covered very little. The product latest most of the day in some areas of my face (around the nose, chin, forehead) but seemed to melt away in the other areas. I think price wise, you pay for what you get. I find cheaper BB creams to be more like tinted moisturizers than anything else - offering little coverage and none of the miraculous perfecting qualities they all claim to have. The packaging was inoffensive and clean. After using the product for 10 days, I saw little/no difference in my skin, in fact, it was more dry than it was when I began. I might recommend this to a friend who was looking for an inoffensive tinted moisturiser, but definitely not if they were looking for a miracle performing BB cream.

Tips: Make sure your face is WELL exfoliated before applying this BB cream. It clings to any dry patches like crazy!

More like a tinted mosituriser

My skin is sensitive to fragrances and is combination-dry. The packaging states you will be able to instantly feel and see a miracle on your skin in just one application. It promises to reduce redness, cover blemishes, sooth and hydrate and even my skin tone. My redness was reduced slightly and minor blemishes were covered however only to a certain extent. I found it hard to create an even tone, as the colour is a little patchy.

The packaging is basic, nothing amazing. It is easy to squeeze out the right amount of product, and the cap is good for transporting the product in a makeup bag.

Pros Light on the skin Can easily apply, just apply like a normal moisturiser. Provides a light coverage good for a casual day look, that’s quick and easy to apply Mositurises Gentle on the skin No fragrance, which would irritate my sensitive skin. SPF

Cons Undesirable scent of sunscreen, which doesn’t go away. Coverage wasn’t very good, even with two layers on. It is more like a tinted mosturier than a bb cream Reduces redness but only to an extent. Covers some minor blemishes but wouldn’t recommend for covering pores and darkness under the eyes Product is a little greasy when applying and a little shiny.

Ultimately I wouldn’t recommend this product to a friend as I feel that there are better products out there that would give them a better result.

Tips: If you dont have oily skin I would reccommend using it as a primer under your foundation as I believe you would get all the benfits of the product combined with the coverage of your foundation.

Good for one layering but not full coverage.

I used the Garnier BB cream regularly over the last week. I found the BB cream suited my sensitive skin. It has a good light, non oily, moisturising texture. The BB cream is excellant if you want very little coverage and if your skin is already close to perfect. I found when I tried to layer the BB cream it flaked off very easily. So the third time I wanted to test the two layer coverage I waited for 2 hours before I touched my skin. Yet I found the BB just flaked off. I would not recommend this product if you want full coverage but if you want a light tint to your sensitive skin, this is the product for you

Tips: No more than one thin layer of the product or it tends to flake easily.

disappointing

Received this bb cream last week from BR (thanks ladies :D ) I was so excited i did a little dance, sadly the excitement was short lived.

Tried it on straight away, coverage was that of a tinted moisturizer, it isnt the amount of coverage that i would expect from a standard bb cream. The product moved around on my face and didnt sit nicely on the skin, instead it sunk into my pores and fine lines making them more obvious :( I have rosacea on my cheeks and jaw line and this bb cream did nothing to cover that as most tinted moisturizers wouldnt, but to give it a fair try i applied two layers hoping to build the coverage, sadly the coverage built in random areas of my face (around my nose, eyebrows, hairline, chin, and the outer corners of my eyes) And the previous layer i had applied to my cheeks had moved about and the product that was sitting in my pores and fine lines was even more obvious, and my rosacea was now showing through in patches.

determined to give it a fair go, i finished my makeup and went out to town (I didnt powder as i wanted to see how it lasted without powder) It was raining and as soon as i stepped out the door the test was all over. basically as soon as water touched my face, the bb cream washed off. it actually turned the water into a white murky mess and then dribbled off my face, the only reason i knew it was coming off was because all the water landed on my black shirt.... oops lol.

i gave this bb cream to my little sister who has reasonably good skin anyways and told her to set it with powder. lets hope she has a better experience with it.

Tips: TO BE FAIR, this bb cream might be okay for someone with good skin who just needs to even out their skin tone. as i have quite bright red cheeks i need more coverage. consider this before making a purchase.

Hit and Miss

I was sent the BB sensitive skin in medium shade which was spot on. It evened out my skin tone and felt very moisturizing like what it said it would. The mousse like consistency glides smoothly but I find that it's patchy and crumbly and even worse when you do a second application like it suggests you do for a better coverage. The packaging is straight forward. Price is very affordable if only the product would stay on and not rub off. Will not purchase and not recommend to friends. Sorry.
