Garnier BB Cream - Sensitive Review - Medium

I love BB cream for light make up days. Having only tried one brand before this one I was pleasantly surprised! Pop this BB cream on with a light layer of power over top, a little mascara and fill in your brows for the perfect no make-up make-up! My skin becomes oily over the day but is also super sensitive an doesn't like having a full face of make up 7 days a week so BB cream is perfect for this. Garnier BB cream was easy to apply- like moisturizer (same consistency) and has a pleasant odor. It has a medium coverage- better than a tinted moisturizer but not as much as a full blown foundation. It could last longer but for the price you can't complain really. The packaging is OK- not the most amazing but certainly not ugly.

I would recomend this to a friend with similar skin concerns to mine, however I am relatively lucky with my skin so if a friend had known break outs then perhaps not as it wouldn't provide enough coverage.

The Garnier BB Cream is amazing.

I have pale english skin and tend to redden easily. This BB Cream smooths out my complexion well and I especially like that you can build up the colour/coverage with multiple layers.

The product is affordable and can simply be purchased in your general weekly groceries from the supermarket which is an added bonus.

I really enjoyed this product but my skin has been having a "good" phase at the moment, the coverage is light enough for work that I don't feel caked up all day. The colour is perfect on my skin tone but I can see how it could be too orange for others. I have been applying this with my fingers as it seemed to go onto my skin more evenly than with a brush. I don't know if illuminates the skin, but I am happy that is SPF and it will be good for my holiday, where I want light coverage.

It doesn't hide blemishes but for a light coverage BB cream I wouldn't expect that. For the price it does ok.

So to begin with I think I need to make it very clear that I have horribly hot, red, flakey - Sensitive skin. Now lets begin... Day 1. WOWSA! I was so in love. It felt a little oily applying it to my face. But minutes later had dried to almost a powder like consistency. Even after an 8 hour shift in a hot stuffy air conditioned call centre I still looked exactly the same when I arrived home that night - BLISS a product that works and is affordable! Day 2. After being at work for a few hours my skin became little itchy and dry. After another hour of it frustrating me I had to call it quits and rinse my face. I noticed that my skin had gone very flakey with the BB cream still on. I was slightly deflated. On the 3rd day I decided on a breather. Day 4. Fantastic. Exact results as day 1 - no irritation, flawless over my heated red toned skin and this was using nothing except the Garnier BB Cream. So after continuing day on day off I was still Super impressed with the out come of this glorious little tube of magic. However, although it is for sensitive skin it still irritated mine on the second day, causing my skin to dry out majorly. For the amount of time that I require or feel the need to wear make up ( once maybe twice a week) this product is ideal. When it is on my face I feel - I feel pretty. Not red blotchy Amy or spotty Amy or even Flakey Amy ( she's the one I dislike the most! ). And lets not forget the comments that come along with it at work! They were fantastic. Would I buy this again - Yes! Did it do what it said it would... well... to the best ability such an affordable product could yes. I am really really greatful to have had the chance on the great BB trial and have truely enjoyed putting this product to the test. Thanks BR xx

It was my first time using a BB cream. I am also not a regular user of foundations or too much of a makeup person (except for eyes and lips). [Age early 40's; Skin type: sensitive (as I don't use full face makeup often); skin: red patches, frekcles/moles, uneven skin tone, dry skin type]. Product: Application - good and easy to apply, smooth coverage. Quantity: Just need very little to cover full face - this is not indicated on the box. You may need a touch up (reapplication) half way through the day to maintain the look, especially around areas of high traffic like mouth, nose. Effect: Gives a lovely even skin tone to the face, highly reduces red blotches, but not fully convinced that it totally hides blemishes. Overall effect is good - skin has a brightness to it. Packaging: Instructions on how to apply and how much to apply need to be more detail or specific, dont assume that everyone moisturises their face. The before/after picture on the box is a bit deceptive in the sense the model does'nt have any blemishes on her skin at all! Her skin looks less than a tad uneven. Overall: I like the product. It is just one cream to use that gives you a 'madeup' look . It reduces the redness of my skin by ~80%. 40% masking on blemishes but doesnt hide them completely.

I have very sensitive skin, and this product worked wonders. Still had a little bit of dryness, but overall everyone should be happy with this product.

At first I loved this product so much. The smell was pleasant and disappeared quickly, the consistency was good and easy to apply, the coverage was exactly what I was looking for - just enough but not too much, but then I broke out like nothing else.

I am honestly guttered about this happening as it was coming to be my new staple but unfortunately I will use sparingly from now on.

I do have to admit that with a primer on first this glided on perfectly and gave my skin a flawless look and feel (again before the breakout). The colouring is 'medium' and therefore I think just a bit too dark for my winter skin but I think it would suit my summer skin perfectly. It stayed on all day although by the end I found it was starting to 'slip' off my face. With the primer applied this didn't happen to the same extent.

The packaging is nice and simple, small and compact which is what I like. I am not a huge fan of oversized products. The price is probably a bit more than what I would like to pay for the product but if I had an outstanding experience I would probably buy it again.

I would recommend for a friend with a warning about possible breakouts. My skin was perfectly fine before this and now I have to do some damage control. Overall though i think this is a good product but I just had a bad experience.

Have tried this little supermarket staple and had OK results. Reflecting on cost, it's a pretty decent purchase.

The bottle is well shaped and it's easy to gauge how much you need and get the right amount accordingly. The consistency is easy to spread without being too runny - just right.

Coverage is OK, although I would recommend using a good concealer for darker areas or acne. After applying I covered with a powder to set and to help it stay.

It did hold cover through the day, however towards the end of the day I could myself becoming a little too shiny / greasy for my liking.

Would I use again? Maybe. Depending on budget. However if you can afford to take a step up the price ladder I would recommend it.

Once again, thank you for the opportunity to test another product out. This cream was much nicer to use than the Age BB Cream. The medium shade suited my complexion and blended in nicely. Although this cream was thick like the previous BB cream tested, it went on smoothly and felt light. Blending was a little uneven when applied by my fingers, but it evened out when I used a make up sponge. Nice and light to wear, didn't cause any pore blocks or redness to my cheeks. However, the cream stayed oily throughout the day, rubbing off onto my clothing and tissues when I blew my nose. Regular dabbing of mineral powder to stop the shine and oilyness was a disadvantage. I would use this cream again during the colder months but not during the warmer seasons.

I have both this one and the anti-ageing one, this one seems to need to be rubbed in very quickly otherwise it leaves dry flaky pieces on the surface of your skin. I found it was a little hard to get an even coverage unless you apply moisturiser first
