I absolutely love this in combination with the hair food conditioner! The packaging is so colorful and the shape of the shampoo bar is so unique. When you open it a fresh fruity smell catches you, not too overpowering. The shampoo goes a long way you only need a little, I rub the bar directly onto my hair for it to foam up and covers all your hair,
after using this in combination with the conditioner my hair was beautiful, shiny, smooth and smelled great. Love it! Will definitely try again.
I have curly, thick and dry hair so I was skeptical in the beginning of using a Shampoo bar on my already so knotted hair.
My previous experiences with shampoo bars weren't so great, which why i haven't transitioned into plastic free shampoos/conditioners. But I think this product will be the reason I move onto soap bars for my hair.
Having thick hair I find it difficult to get actual soap on my scalp with the bars but this product was excellent in foaming up like bottle hair products and I could easily get a lot of soap on my hair to scrub it in, and I also use a lot of hair creams and products on my hair so I felt this shampoo bar actually cleansed my hair nicely, my hair would feel so nice and clean after the shower, ready for applying hair cream and oils.
Most importantly my hair smelt lovely after the shower, it has a beautiful fragrance which I really enjoyed. I also love the fact it’s so good on the environment and it barely took space in my bathroom shelf.
It can make my hair really dry sometimes, but I just make sure to use a good conditioner after.
Tips: Use a good hydrating conditioner after, if you have dry hair.
I love these shampoo bars. For someone with curly hair it's super hydrating. I love that it's not plastic packaging too and it takes up far less space on my shower caddy. It lasts for ages and is super easy to use. My new go to for sure
I finally ordered the Aloe Vera after trying the Banana scented one and liking the shampoo but not the scent with my Rewards points and I am not disappointed. I love the scent and I have really thick hair and I am able to get a good larther and really massage in to my hair and scalp on second shampoo . My hair feels so good and nourished after shampooing so I will be keen to replace after I have used this up.I do like Garniers tubs of shampoo and conditioner too but the bars to save using plastic and are great for travelling.
Tips: Store away from shower water as will soften easily and you will waste this lovely product.
I found this solid shampoo easy to use, I found it lathered easily and cleaned my hair nicely without drying out the ends. This shampoo is well suited to normal hair and it feels nourishing. It has an ergonomic shape to hold and has a pleasant smell. I would recommend this to anyone with normal to dry hair if they are interested in trying a solid shampoo.
Tips: I kept this in a soap dish with free draining holes, this prevented it becoming soft.
I hadn’t used a bar shampoo before so I was a little sceptical. I’m so glad I was chosen to try this product it really was a wonderful product to try. The scent is lovely and not overpowering It lathers so lovely and you get enough product to wash your hair with. It feels lovely when rinsed out and leaves you’re hair feeling soft and clean. I am definitely converted and will purchase this product again.
Tips: Make sure to keep in a dry place so it’s doesn’t get ruined and you can continue use. Use with the conditioner and it leaves you’re hair silky soft.
I’ve been lucky to trial a few shampoo/conditioners through beauty review and since trialling the Garnier Banana shampoo/conditioner I’ve been hooked. When I was picked for this trial I already knew I would love it. I’ve trialled many bar shampoos and they’re not bad, but not my fav. This aloe bar shampoo on the other hand I loved instantly. Fresh scent, lathers up perfectly, and easy to rinse out. Other bar shampoos I’ve tried I have found take ages to rinse from your hair. Not this one! I usually only wash my hair once a week as I have curly hair. For the sake of this trial I washed it twice a week. My hair did not turn into a frizzy mop and it didn’t dry out which I was so happy with! Will definitely be using this again. Love the fact that it will also save me money as it is the equivalent of 2 bottle shampoos! I highly recommend the shampoo bar. Hopefully they have the other scents in bar form too! As the banana scent is my ultimate fav, with aloe coming a close second :)

Smells devine even before opening the box, made my hair feel super soft, the shape was so much easier to use than other ones I've tried, I only needed to do 3 strokes down my really long hair so this is going to last for a very long time.
Tips: Let it dry out between use, it's easier to run it through your hair instead of lathering it in your hands
I loved trying this out as I have been wanting to switch to more eco-friendly options. It has lasted really well and is very easy to use. It smelt amazing as soon as I opened the box but doesn't necessarily leave a long-lasting smell in my hair. Paired with the conditioner/treatment my hair has felt amazing.
Tips: Make sure the bar and your hair are thoroughly wet or it doesn't soap up as quickly.
I have to say I wasn't 100% sure I'd like this product, if anyone made the mistake I did as a kid and rubbed you hair with soap, you'd understand why - the knots. However, this is a game changer. Firstly the smell is beautiful - so fresh, it's just gorgeous. I used the shampoo bar as directed and rubbed it onto my hair, it lathered easily. I then put the bar down and massaged it in and rinsed. Easy peazy. My hair was wonderfully clean smelt divine. However, it was after it dried that the real magic was noticed, it was so soft and well hydrated, and not in the sense it weighs curls down. Just perfect, frizz free soft hair. I did always use the hair mask with the bar, so I cannot be completely sure that it's the bar or the mask or both together that are responsible for this, but I'm very happy.
Lastly, from an environmental stand point it's great, as it comes in a cardboard box and is a bar. Nothing harmful. The bar is a teardrop shape so you can tell it a part from other soaps.
Tips: I put it out of the way on the side of the bath after use and found the next time I used it that it was a little stuck to the surface - use a soap dish to avoid this.
