A beautiful feminine fragrance!
I love wearing this on a date night or to events you want to feel feminine and fresh. Always get compliments about this being a "classy" scent.
Long wearing on the skin and typically lingers longer for others to smell as you get used to the scent and can't smell it as strongly through the day, everyone else can though!
Tips: A little goes a long way so no need to waste it by over spraying!
This is one of those perfumes that has been compared to Viktor & Rolf's Flowerbomb many times (much like Pink Happiness Delicate moments-Revlon.)
I can't compare the two having never tried Flowerbomb.
La Vie Est Belle is a very strong, almost mid 90's type of perfume. Despite having gourmand notes, I do not find this similar to the majority of candy like perfumes currently on the market.
At times this does have a fairly synthetic type of smell. Overall though, I would describe this perfume as having a scent like burnt sugar-almost cloying, but somehow still pleasant.
Tips: This has amazing sillage and longevity. A little goes a long way so avoid over spraying to avoid getting a head ache
This is a very elegant and soft fragrance, it has a subtle sweet scent. It is very similar to Flowerbomb, the only difference i find is that Flowerbomb has a much stronger floral scent compared to La Vie Est Belle which is more subtle and gentle in it's tone of floral scent. A great perfume to wear everyday, would make a great gift, or for that special occasion.
I have this perfume in the mini size. It’s a floral which has quite an intense for me musky drydown with a hint of powderiness. This is one I wear in autumn winter as I find it’s to heavy for spring and summer. It is quite long lasting on me. I find that this is more of a grown up perfume for me which is definitely a good thing, but it’s also one I might love one day and find too intense the next.
A classic, not for everyone. You will most likely love this if you love strong long lasting scents that fill the room as soon as you enter. Wouldn't recommend if you are sensitive and get headaches. I'd say this is an intoxicating warm mature scent and it always turns head when I wear it.
Tips: A little spritz goes a longgg way!
This is my current perfume and I love it! Such a cute little bottle. This one definitely caught my attention when I was smelling around, I'm not usually a fan of florally scents but this one is lovely, it's mild and refreshing, it doesn't smell overpowering or too florally. The smell lasts all day which is great, it doesn't trail off half way through the day like some cheaper products do. HAve had a lot of compliments wearing this :)
This fragrance is definitely a long lasting one, tends to be a bit sickly sweet for my liking though. Bottle is gorgeous however.
Tips: Only spray the smallest amount on skin as it's very very strong!
I purchased multiple samples of this perfume. I do like this perfume, it is strong and a very floral scent despite there being fruity notes they are overpowered by the florals. It’s not my favourite but it does smell lovely and I always get compliments when I wear this.
Another annoying sweet candy floss type scent (reminiscent of Flowerbomb or Pink Sugar) with a bit of musk and patchouli going on in the background. I just don't care for these type of scents - just not original in any way shape or form.
This perfume is one of the bestsellers In Europe and I wanted to try the fragrance for myself to see if the sillage, longevity and projection was as amazing as the reviews had said online. First of all, the bottle and contents represent the title of the fragrance very well, it has a very feminine and lovely appearance. The longevity of this fragrance is truly outstanding, so much so that one spray on the skin will really last the entire day and often overnight. The gourmand notes are very strong and lovely mixed with the florals and spicy notes. Getting little wafts of this comforting scent throughout the day really make me happy. My signature fragrance.
Tips: One spray goes a long way - this scent is very strong and very suitable for the autumn and winter. During summer, the La Vie Est Belle L’Eclat would be a lighter alternative.
