My mum bought me this perfume when I was a teenager and it was my first ever proper perfume. I felt so grown up! I loved the smell and wore it a lot for a long time. Since then I have changed preference- or maybe just realised which scents suit me better, but this is still a nice scent. Tge bottle is stylish, but not practical for being in a handbag. The lid would come off all the time and my car keys chipped the gold off the bottle so it looked ugly in the end. Still a great perfume and great memories.

J'adore by Dior Review
The incarnation of absolute femininity in an opulent fruity-floral bouquet. J’adore takes flight with a fresh accord of bergamot, opening into a vibrant armful of roses with a delicate jasmine drydown.
The sensual, curvaceous lines of its amphora bottle make this a legendary perfume.

This has to be my favourite perfume of all time.
I remember as a young girl this was my older sisters signature scent, and now we both wear it! (I'm 21 now)
The smell is so luxurious, it lingers and emanates in the most gorgeous way whenever you walk into a room.
The bottle is smooth and simple, I like how they have kept the original shape for year and years. With this perfume a little really goes a long way, for me this scent lasts all day and even through the night! The quality of this product is astronomical! I will definitely be buying this perfume and re-stocking for the rest of my years
Tips: A little goes a long way, you don't have to "shower" in this to have the scent last all day on your skin
I love love love J'adore! This isn't in my collection of fragrances at the moment but often is. It's times like this when I don't have it on my shelf that I smell it on someone and it reminds me that I must purchase more. Not only do I love the scent that remains on me all day. But the bottle is so sweet and elegant.
Tips: Don't over do it. No need. A little spray remains on your skin all day.
I absolutely love this perfume and it’s one you’ll find in my small collection often. I have bought this for myself a number of times and received it as gifts (sets or individual) since it was released and each time it never failed to take me to a wonderful place of delicious notes. This was one of my high school perfumes; some would say it’s a waste but for me perfume is to be used.
It's pricey yes but you really are paying for what you get and if I met a rather hasty demise tomorrow atleast I know that I didn’t waste my money. It comes in a pristine white box with gold lettering – seriously the packaging is luxurious and nothing short of elegant. It’s in a lovely simple round bottle (when the lid is off) with a rather tall golden top and a round clear ball with J’adore embossed inside.
One of the things I love the most about the scent is that it's quite buttery with a hint of powderiness in the notes. There is a lovely blend of very light musk, sweet citrus and florals. I find that there is a subtlety to this perfume where it's not overpowering but there is enough fragrance left behind when you walk past others.
The longevity isn’t as long as you would expect from an EDP but the subtlety of notes that lingers behind makes up for it. For me this perfume always creates an ambiance of calm around me; I love how the scent just puts me at ease and I just feel so clean when I get a whiff of it.
Admittedly the smell of J'adore today smells different to the one I wore prancing around in the school courtyard many moons ago but I still appreciate that this fragrance is one of a kind. It's quite a popular perfume but I don't often "smell" it around. Do I get sick of the scent sometimes? Yes but I’m spritz-happy so it’s only natural that I would however I would never say no to owning this.
I got given this perfume for Christmas from my Gran (she has the best taste in perfumes and never fails me). I didn't know about this perfume until then but once I put it on I fell in love. It suits my skin perfectly. It lingers for a long time and you only need a little to smell gorgeous. The bottle is so pretty. It feels expensive and looks really classy. It looks great on my shelf with the rest of my wee collection!
My manager at work also has the same one and she loves it too.
Tips: Scents smell different on different people. Remember to test a perfume on your skin before you invest.
Where do I start? First time ever notice this perfume on Changi airport( Singapore). It was big poster with model. Golden, glossy and shine bottle catched my eyes. And straight way I went on counter with hubby( for the pay the bill) after confused between EDT and EDP and finally bought j'adore dior EDP 50ml bottle. Bottle looks so pretty, feminine and expensive. This my first perfume from Dior.
I don't wear daily this perfume because it's expensive and love it. I Don't want to finish early. Doir smell divine, nice and fresh floral. I am not perfume expert but I find out base note is jasmine flower. It's well know flower and use most of perfume. Middle note I think rose flower thats what I smell.and top note is Ylang ylang blossam flower. Whenever I wear this perfume I got so many compliments. My husband loves this perfume.
It is expensive perfume but worth it. What ever you spent you get it back. Smell very long last wherever you go you can smell that perfume if you leave the place. You need two spray for whole day which is good. Very faminine and sexy perfume...all time favourite. I'll never leave you baby.
I think it is the bottle that got my attention first. It almost is like gold, so beautiful. It is kind of thin and slinky looking.
This fragrance is absolutely floral, such a pretty, pretty scent. Bergamot, roses and jasmine, wow, so feminine.
This is luxury in a bottle, you will get compliments when you wear this. When I wear this it makes me feel like I am wearing the crown jewels, so rich.
I find the scent lasts a good while, most of the day. I will re-apply if I am going out in the evening, otherwise I am happy with how it lasts during the day.
It certainly is not the cheapest fragrance on the market but I do believe it is value for money as it will last for most of the day.
Tips: Enjoy, you will feel amazing wearing this fragrance.
Try on your skin first at a counter, as the scent will vary between people.
I got a small sample of this which I was happy to have. The bottle itself is elegant and something that would look nice on a dressing table but you should like the perfume before you buy it.
For me this is outside my light fruity floral perfume and not something that I am planning on buying again. I'm not really a huge jasmine fan and if it was any larger I would have handed this onto a friend to try.
It does have stay power so the price is worth it. I normally spray perfume in my hair and could still smell this 12 hours later, not as hard as when first sprayed but nicely softened over the course of the day. What stands out for me at the start, jasmine and a little fruitiness. After it dries down at the beginning it becomes more heavy on floral, it's nice as the other florals move to the front of the scent. I'm not planning on a repurchase at this time as I have an abundance of perfumes that need to be loved and this kind of reminds me of a heavily perfumed soap.
Tips: Try before you buy on this one.
I love this ever since the first day I came across it in store. It smells so beautiful and it also has a lasting fragrance that lasts.
I purchased the 100ml EDP and wore it every single day. Such a fresh but feminine smell. It's distinct and anyone that's wearing it I can smell it from a mile off. Such a beautiful scent, lovely floral notes with a little bit of sweet. So hard to explain but absolutely lovely and sophisticated for everyday wear. The smell stays put for the whole day, and I would definitely repurchase.
