I received one of these eyeshadow quads as a freebie for spending over $65 on revlon products. At first I was excited to try it because I had only tried the revlon creme eyeshadows before and I love a lot of other revlon products. These eyeshadows were disappointing. They are rather powdery and hard to apply compared with others I have tried and there is very little pigmentation to the colours. I also highly doubt these will last 16 hours on your eyelids

Such good eyeshadows and I love that they are a quad and that you dont have to buy them individually. I find it really great that they have the step by steps on the back that shows you how to apply!
Tips: Use a primer and your own brushes
I looove my eyeshadow quad, I got it in a gift bag after purchasing a few things and i can easily say its one of my favourite eyeshadow quads I own, so pigmented and velvety, and blend so well. im not sure about all the other pallets but mine are all shimmery which is kinda annoying as i usually use the dark brown as a crease colour. There is minimal fallout and stay in place all night long, even without primer. Such universal colours that can match any look. amazing! :) To improve i think the light shimmery pinks could be a little more pigmented.
I got this from a gift with purchase. I found it not as successful as other Revlon eyeshadows I have used which was a bit disappointing and found that the colours were quite powdery and lacked pigmentation particularly the dark brown (this was the quad above) Having said that I have found with these quads that some colours last/apply better than others so it is a shame about the lack of consistency.
I brought this because I thought the colours looked to die for, and I was right, they all match together and blend in so naturally. I paid $5 off trademe new and it was well worth it. The pigment isnt too much and the eyeshadow it self is buttery and buildable.
I LOVE the revlon colour quads. These shadows are very blendable and the colours in the palettes always work so well together. I own 3 of these quads and i must say the shimmer powers seem to go on better than the matte colours and have less fallout. Fallout was my main problem with these quads as I always have to pace things under my eyes to catch it. That being said the easy in blending these shadows mor ethan makes up for it. Also they are not 16 hour more like 8- by the 8 hour mark they shadows and faded significantly and have blended together significantly. It does however still look great!
Tips: Use a blending brush
The shades are amazing - I have the seductive palette aswel as the luscious - and the cheat sheet is a great little tutorial for people like me who are useless at applying makeup!
Tips: Don't be afraid to go bold and experiment, mix the palettes and have fun!!
I have two ColorStay palettes - in 'Coffee Bean' and 'Plum to Perfection'. I quite like the former and I've been using it for my low key everyday makeup look. I can also build up the shades for a more dramatic look when I want to do so. However with the plum palette I found that the pigmentation was really lacklustre and I've barely used it.
These eye shadows do last all day and they don't gather in the eyelid crease, which is the mark of a good shadow for me. However, for the rather hefty price I think there are more affordable alternatives that would do a similar job.
When I first got into make up this was my go to eye shadow. It has all of the instructions on the back on how to use it,which is great as it shows u were to put what colours. I would really recommend this and the colours can be great for daytime or night time wear. The colours are very easy to blend also :)
Tips: New at make? Make sure you get this to help you along the way.
I purchased this on sale, and I'm really pleased with the results of the product - easy to apply and blend, long lasting and great for both casual and evening wear. Very adaptable! However - I would not pay full price for this product, I feel Revlon has always been a more affordable brand, but their prices have been increasing too much. There are other brands that give much better value for money and Revlon should be re-evaluating their target market and price points.
