Essence Fresh & Fit Awake Primer Review

This is my first time buying a primer. Packaging is screw cap lotion tube. Pale apricot colour. Plain and simple but it is an affordable brand so I wasn't expecting luxury packaging. It does have a slight scent. That could be due to the cranberry water ingredient. A very light cream with fine shimmer.

Applies easily and absorbed quickly into the skin. Does appear very glowy, refreshed and awake skin. It says you can wear it alone but I prefer to use as a base with a powder or foundation applied over the top.

For a beginner such as myself I think it's a great product to start with. Personally not really a fan of the glowy look i prefer matte. However this product still performs well especially for the price. I'm keen to try other primers from the brand but wouldn't hesitate to repurchase this if I needed a base I know I like.

I brought this "Fresh and Fit Awake" primer for about $8, Which is an absolute bargain price. I loved the promise of this being "pore minimising" and containing vitamins and cranberry water. Having used up one tube of this after daily wear I found I got a good 7 months out of one tube which is brilliant. I love this product on its own more, It gives you a gorgeous glow, it isn't tinted and really helps to minimise my unfortunately noticeable pores. I felt I looked as if I'd just walked out of a facial after applying this. When wore on its own I had been asked a couple of times what I'd used as my skin looked so young and was so glowy. I have used this under foundation and it works well can occasionally cause the foundation to cake up in spots a bit. I much prefer using this as my last step in my skincare routine in the morning as I don't often wear foundation daily. This will be a regular purchase, I love it.
