e.l.f Undereye Setting Powder Review

i use daily, i was a little hesitant when i saw the glitter in it however you cant see when it goes on your face

the brush however sucks and im unsure as to how to get it out of the container through the little holes but would def buy again

i think it works for my lines and also brilliant as a top powder

I bought this product due to Shannon Harris aka. Shaaanxo of YouTube using this on top of her concealer and her swearing that this product is amazing. I got mine off iherb.com when I was buying a huge haul. I don't use the brush that comes with it as it think it is useless and instead apply it with the Real Techniques Setting brush. I was suprised when I got it as it has tiny glitters in it and automatically assumed that the wrong product was in the container but suprisingly the glitters don't really show up under your eyes and also helps to highlight in that area. I was also disappointed when I first got it due to the product being quite small as I thought it was bigger but a little of this product goes a long way.

I love using this powder over the top of my under eye concealer, it sets it perfectly and prevents any creasing throughout the day which is something I struggle to find in a product. It has a slight shimmer in it which I don't seem to have a problem with. Great product and super affordable. Cannot go wrong

Absolutely love this product, it makes my under-eyes look brighter and sets my concealer really well without looking cakey & this may seem weird but i think it smells really good to its a faint smell not strong but i like it. There is little shimmery bits of glitter in it though but it usually doesn't show up on skin. all round love this product for setting under eye makeup definitely does its job :)

I have had mine for a couple of months now and I wanted to give it this long to give a proper review on it.

Not a huge fan of the packaging, it's a little bit cheap and I had to poke holes in the plastic cover (the holes were already there but not punched all the way through). The lid sometimes won't screw on securely so I always store this product standing up. The brush it came with was terrible so I binned that.

Packaging aside, the powder itself is very very fine, and has a slight shimmer to it...DON'T LET THIS PUT YOU OFF! To use, I tap some into the lid and then use with my duo-fibre Real Techniques Contour brush. I find this works really well because it picks up the product with the long hairs and then is easy to blend with the shorter ones.

When I apply, I start from the very outside of my eyes (the highlight area), and pat it on slowly moving towards the inner corner of the eye. This moves AGAINST the lines under my eye instead of with them and makes the lines less visible.

This product not only sets my concealer and prevents it from creasing (ALL DAY), but it also gives me a very slight highlight under my eyes making me look fresh and awake.

This has very quickly become a holy grail product for me, although I applied a few different ways before I found one that looked flawless.

I have never used an undereye setting powder because I have quite wrinkly undereye areas. I already have a problem with concealer because of this so the thought of putting even more product on this area just seemed so strange but I figured why not give it a go.

While I am not a fan of the packaging just cause it's so small and fiddly I have to say this stuff is amazing. The glitters did put me off as I thought it would just draw attention to my bags but that wasn't the case. I got the sheer powder so it brightens the area a bit.

The brush is extremely crap and I only use it when I can't find my other brush.

Considering how cheap it is it is definitely worth it as even though it is a small container you don't need to put much under your eyes

This product is ammaaazzzing for the price you pay! I have a really big issue with product creasing and looking cakey under my eyes - but not with this! I was skeptical, but for the price I thought what the heck. Best decision I ever made. This product does not look cakey at all, it is very fine and it sets my under eye area perfectly so I have very minimal creasing compared to other products I have used. Will be repurchasing over and over again!

I finally gave in and bought this, although it is pretty inexpensive. This is a great under eye powder, I am hooked! it sets my under eye concealer perfectly and almost completely stops creasing. it has hardly any colour to it and is almost completely sheer. I'm not a big fan on the packaging, it isn't a huge pot so it can be a bit tricky to get enough on my brush without spilling it all over the floor, and also I find under some light and in photos I have noticed it can tend to have a slight glittery finish. But overall it is a really great product at a really affordable price.

I was introduced to this wee guy recently (Thanks Shannon Harris!) - I bought mine off iherb for $3US, cheap as chips (I grabbed an extra for a friend too). and although when I opened it I was slightly alarmed at the amount of glitter I could see I would definitely not class it as glittery on the skin. I have very dark circles under my eyes, and wear a very heavy concealer most days to hide them. This setting powder overtop of my heavy concealer lasts all day! The powder is slightly reflective without being shiny and this gives the illusion that I am well rested! I absolutely adore this and will definitely be replacing when I run out! As for the packaging, yup its tiny...but it costs $3 - What are you really expecting. You only need such a small amount and I don't see it running out that quickly!

I watched so many videos where people use this product I knew I just had to try it out myself to see what all the hype is about. This product doesn't crease on me like other powders I've used to set my under eye area. It is so finely milled that it is just splendid to work with. It is so affordable which is an added bonus and it doesn't leave a white cast under my eye like I thought it would. Final verdict, I love it and will definitely be repurchasing this product over and over again.
