e.l.f Brow Kit Review

This was the product I needed without knowing it. I had seen a lot of great reviews about this product and everyone raving about it on BR, and so I brought it from iherb soon after, although my eyebrows are already quite thick, so I didn’t think I would use it, I just got caught up in the hype.

Boy, was I wrong! This product is packaged very similarly to the other elf products; it comes in a sleek black compact that has a clear window that reveal some on the product, with the elf brand in white on the outside.

The application of this product is easy; it comes with its own brush, which I used in the beginning before using my own eyebrow brush. One side has a defining gel, and the other side has a powder. Together they work perfectly to blend and create a natural look, which is easy to achieve, even for the novice make-up user like myself.

I have quite thick eyebrows, and so I did not think I would benefit from this product, however, my eyebrows are more like distance cousins then sisters, so I found this product really good at evening them at so they look similar! Plus for the price of $3 off iherb, this product is hard to complain about, and I recommend everyone tries it!

I bought this product while I was in USA- was a steal at only a couple of dollars. Its my absolute fave! Great colour, great consistency of the wax and one of the best packaged brow poroducts I have come across! Nice and compact, has a little mirror and the brush it comes with is perfect. I have also used the powder as eyeshadow and love it in the contour for a natural nude look. I recently went back to the states and tried to find it again and stock up, however they dont stock it in all stores there - looks like when i run out i'll be purchasing online. Its sold in NZ online for about $10 more than in the US, however i would be happy to pay that as its a great product!

This is affordable and a definite must for anyone and everyone who wants to define their brows. The packaging is great - it's sturdy and also has a mirror so is great for travelling.

The gel is great - it allows you to fill in your brows and achieve your desired intensity. It looks really natural and is absolutely fantastic. It really impressed me and is very long wearing as well. I've been using it religiously to fill in my brows daily.

The powder doesn't really work as it should, but it works great as an eyeshadow - especially for the crease.

The brush however, is a bit of a disappointment. It's small and fiddly. The side designed for the gel works alright, but the side for the powder is absolutely shocking. It sheds a lot, and I end up having more brush hair than product.

Overall - it is super affordable and works great. Definitely will repurchase.

This is probably got to be one of the best priced and quality makeup items around, big call yes! Great value for money, I got this in a recent Iherb order, in medium. It literally is only a few dollars, the pigmentation is really good, it stays on my eyebrows all day, I tend to use the wax side more often than the powder. One of the best value eyebrow product around.

i love my elf brow kit, it was the first brow kit i ever used and it was easy to use and affordable, i have used many different products since first using the elf kit and altho i now use just a good old pencil for a sharper look, i often turn back to my elf kit ( i will often use this instead of my dipbrow ) for a more subtle look

Super Value! This is a great product! Such a good affordable alternative to high end eyebrow products. The quality of this product matches close to some similar high end products! I would be more than happy to only have this product to use for my eyebrows! And cause it's only two colours you don't get confused if it's one of your first time learning to do eyebrows like me haha

The combination of the highly pigmented gel and a complementing finishing powder allows me to create fuller, more defined brows while maintaining that natural look & feel that I love. Included in this eyebrow kit is a double sided brush. This brush is the perfect tool to use when wanting to achieve this look. The other end contains a blending brush. When used with the complementing setting powder, brows appear to be fuller & well blended with a beautiful, natural finish to them. I would highly recommend this kit to anyone wanting to correct or enhance the shape of their eyebrows with a product that provides long-lasting colour definition and a finished look that is naturally beautiful. I am a huge fan of this product and have been using it to define & enhance my brows for about 4years now. The compact packaging contains a small mirror on the inside which means I can easily pop it in my handbag & rest assured I have everything on hand incase any quick touchups are required throughout the day.
