A'kin Roll On Deodorant

I've tried so many natural deodorants due to my sensitivity to aluminium, and I recently got a chance to try A'kin's Roll-On Deodorant in Lime & Orange thanks to Beauty Review.

So far it stands out for several reasons.

Firstly, it's a game-changer in preventing those embarrassing white marks on clothes – a relief, especially when wearing dark shirts. The liquid form makes application swift and hassle-free, and it absorbs quite fast.

The scent is subtle and refreshing, nothing overwhelming. What's more, it effectively keeps me odour-free throughout the day, a great improvement compared to other natural alternatives. For those with an active lifestyle, a reapplication might be necessary. I prefer to use a body mist along with it to be sure I smell good during the day.

Its compact size is practical for carrying in the handbag. However, it's worth noting that the price tag is on the higher side compared to other deodorants. But I prefer to pay more for better, non-toxic protection.

I'd definitely try the other scents.

This is an easy roll deodorant. I have sensitive skin and I've had no issues or rashes with this product even after shaving. It's soft and kind. I tried the rose and mint fragrance. The mint gives a fresh fragrance that last a few hours. The deodorant dried quickly before I got dressed. I had no white marks on my clothes. I like that this is eco friendly with recycling the packaging and that it's natural. I would buy again.

I have been testing this deodorant out on all of my black work clothes and it actually doesn't leave white marks! It's really good usually I'll put deodorant on and then put my top on and it just smears everywhere. I got the Lime & Orange scent and it's lovely not sickly sweet and not over powering but enough scent to notice it and it just smells fresh, I really want to see the reviews on the Geranium & Wood scent because I would really like to try out that one next. I only had to apply first thing in morning and had no odor at all by the end of the day, as for sweat I think I still did sweat a little bit but not alot and it just made the deodorant feel just a bit sticky almost but overall I am really happy with this deodorant it works leaves no white marks, smells fantastic and pairs nicely with some of my more sweet citrus purfumes and it's natural. The packaging for this one is ok it's just a standard deodorant but serves its purpose and functions well. I think this is up there with my favorite the Weleda citrus. My Weleda only just beats this one because the citrus scent in that one is a bit more creamier. That's just a personal preference in scents but A'kin is a winner for me!

This is my new favorite deodorant. It smells amazing and it actually lasts. I used the rose and mint scent and it's such a lovely scent. Simple easy to use packaging. Leaves no white marks on clothing which is amazing. It's a natural deodorant so it doesn't have the aluminum and extra chemicals most have. By the end of the day i still smelt fresh and had the lovely rose and mint scent present. I am definitely sticking with this deodorant from now on and would 1000% recommend. Love it xx

The last time I tried a 'Deodorant' vs an 'Anti-Perspirant' was when I was in my 20's and it didn't go well, so I was intrigued to see if technology and time have changed things. Spoiler alert...they have.

I chose the Lime and Orange variant. The rollerball dispensed the product easily and it has a fresh fragrance. No white marks as promised (a pet hate of mine) and in a Summer in Auckland as hot as I can remember where its been stifling in the office it held up without having to be re-applied. Well done A'kin. Now I know I can trust it to protect me, I will absolutely buy it again!

I really enjoyed using this product as it smelt nice and natural without being overpowering. The consistency was very nice as it was not powdery or heavy or sticky. It was light and an extension of my natural smell. The most important thing was that it lasted for me all day - from after my gym workout at 7am to my evening before I went to bed.

I was so impressed with this deodorant. Firstly because it contains no aluminium, parabens or chemicals but also because it lived up to its claim of no white marks left on clothes. The aroma of Geranium and Wood sounds odd but smells divine. The fragrance fades quickly so doesn't compete with your perfume and doesn't make you smell as if you're wearing a deodorant. It dries almost immediately and is non sticky. I gave it a pretty strenuous workout exercise wise and it came thru with flying colours. Some thought has gone into the packaging as the geranium and wood is reflected in the colour, a pretty lilac and sage green. I will make this my new deodorant and highly recommend it.

This roll on works really well, no stinky pits for a full 24hrs as long as you're not sweating buckets doing full on physical activity. Even, then no stinky pits until a few hours afterwards. I got the Geranium and Wood scent, which perfectly matches my current shower gel, the Thank You Geranium & Rosewood and it is a nice subtle scent like fancy candles. I quite like the applicator, I dislike roller balls that don't feel like anything came out. I did have a little itching the first couple of days but as I wore the product that went away. No redness or reactions like I have had with other aluminium free deodorants. I wouldn't rely on it for the gym but for everyday it's good.

I was beyond impressed with this product. Although the consistency is very liquidy and light in comparison to other roll ons (which I’m not going to lie had me questioning whether it was going to work or not) it worked much better than other thicker consistency products I’ve used. The fragrance isn’t one I would typically pick for myself as it’s quite strong, but it prevented odor for an 8 hour day for me, which is significantly better than other brands. Also with its sheer consistency and roll on applicator, i noted that I used less. I’ve been using this for 2 weeks now, and barely touched the bottle. Price point is a little higher than normal and packaging is nothing out of the ordinary but I fully rate this product and will be getting a different fragrance to try the range next time.

I have found it hard in the pass to find a good natural deodorant but this one ticks all the boxes. I trialled the lime and orange fragrance - the smell is so nice, sweet and refreshing without a ‘fake’ smell to it. It rolled on so nicely, didn’t feel sticky or wet and didn’t leave any white marks. I had no issues after applying and never felt the need to have to reapply. Will definitely be using this one again!
