Pantene Moisture Renewal Shampoo Review

I found when using Pantene shampoo not much work was required to create a lather, i could feel my hair was washed good once i had worked-up a rather big lather, once i was rinsing the Pantene shampoo out my hair felt as if it had been stript ov all dirt from previous oil leaving it with a very clean smell, i then used the Pantene conditioner which was silky, left that in while i continued with my shower body wash etc, when i lastly washed then conditioner out while it felt soft,silky & it smelt great. Once dry the Pantene left my hair smelling really clean & felt soft and healthy.

I found that this shampoo almost cleaned my hair too thoroughly - my hair felt light, which was good, but it felt slightly dry. I've only washed my hair twice in the week (I usually wash every 2-3 days) so perhaps with further use I might see better results.

This product does what it said it would. Left my hair feeling soft and silky and moisturised. I was able to use this product three times and all three times it was the same result. I would consider purchasing this product again when I need be shampoo

I was probably the PERFECT person to be chosen for this product...I had been a user of the old Pantene for years. So much so that my hair ended up with a layer of silicone coating the strands, and I needed it professionally stripped back. I was sworn off Pantene FOREVER and told everyone I knew to avoid it.. Soooo...I tried this new formula with mixed feelings. I LOVED the fragrance, and after a shampoo my hair felt softer already (note, I have hair down to my waist, there was only enough conditioner in the trial size for one proper use) and after conditioning my hair it felt super soft and had hardly any tangles. I am tempted to buy a full size of each, just so I can give them a more fair chance!

I've used pantene in the past and i consider it good value for money as being on a student budget tends to make me reach for the best bang for buck. My first impression of this product was that it was heavily fragranced - like HEAVILY fragranced, and it's quite a floral mature scent - not my cup of tea to be honest. The product lathers alot so a little goes a long way and it made my hair feel incredibly clean. My hair was bouncy, light and silky but it was so clean that i was left wondering how many of my natural oils were still left in my hair! I've had a problem with this happening to my hair in the past and then my scalp over compensates and makes my hair incredibly oily and almost sticky and the back of my head? Not sure if any of you have had this but it's super annoying! I probably won't purchase this product again mostly because if its scent. But a mature woman will love this if she has low maintenance hair :)

The smell is bit over powering to begin with but is less noticeable once your washed your hair. I have wave mid length hair, and it left my hair soft, healthy feeling and not frizzy :) Good value for money !!

I was keen to see how a product I used regularly in the past would stack up after changes to the formula. I am so fed up with companies changing formulas that work for me. I had no issues at all with the previous formula, finding it perfect for my past shoulder length, wavy, thick hair (I used the Hydrating Curl formula). Packing made it hard to even tell there had been a change. Same look .Same price bracket. There the similarity ends. The smell was far better than the old product but from the first wash found this shampoo made my hair coarse and strawlike. Hardly moisture renewing and definitely not silken in feel or look. I have blonde streaked hair and the streaked areas felt like I had been in the sea and sun for a week and looked even worse. This is a shampoo I would never use again, either on its own or with the matching conditioner. Only after applying the conditioner did my hair take on some semblance of normailty again, albeit still coarse and fluffy. Not a look I was going to ever be happy with. Epic fail.

I love this product! I haven't used Pantene haircare in a long time, but this makes me reconsider buying it more regularly. The first time I used this trial product (both shampoo and conditioner) my hair felt SO smooth, silky and luscious, and it felt like it helped my hair stay cleaner for longer (usually I would wash my hair every 2nd day, with this I waited 3-4 days and it still felt nice). Also I thought it smelled really good!
