This foundation was OK when I used it on my mission to find a nice foundation for my wedding day. While it did look nice on, when I was in the sun my skin shimmered like there was no tommorrow. I don't usually mind a bit of glow but this was a little bit too much for me personally.
The saying power was also average.
Firstly I'll start by saying I have freckles, and a lot of them. I love this foundation as for me it gives me great coverage to even out dark spots etc but still looks natural. I like my freckles and with this foundation I typically do a fairly light application and am not fighting to cover them up. I get great coverage, for me it's incredibly easy to apply and takes me less than 5 minutes in the morning for work. If I go out I'm able to easily apply it more heavily and am just as comfortable
Tips: less is more - its not difficult to build up to your desired coverage and it goes on a lot smoother in small doses.
Usually use Revlon age-defying makeup and like it so thought I would give this one a try. The tone I was advised to buy did not suit me nor did the glow. I gave it to my 29YO daughter who loves it. So think it is more suitable for younger people.
This is the foundation that I am currently using, and I really like it. I use a beauty blender to apply foundation and that gives quite a sheer coverage which I like, and this foundation still managed to even out the redness in my skin in just one light layer. It is quite shimmery but this can only be seen in some lights and I think that the light that is reflected is why this is designed as a foundation for photography, it definitely does look great in photos.
I bought this foundation after using maybelline constantly as i was looking for a change. I have found when using it that the consistency is very thin and i was still able to see most of what i was trying to cover. (This may just be me as I tend to have very red and blotchy skin sometimes)
This has lead me onto applying over my face and blotchy skin to help even it out as much as possible before i apply my other foundations. This has worked out really well and I will continue to use like this.
Tips: I like to apply this with my fingers as when I do with a sponge I find that it leaves trails of where the sponge has been.
I really like this foundation because it gives me a good all over coverage without being to thick. When I use this with the photoready powder I find my makeup lasts all day.
Purchased this product after seeing a friend wearing it. Looked amazing. I loved the radiant look it gave my skin and find this make up perfect for day wear, light feeling but with perfect coverage.
Tips: I'd recommend using the photo ready powder. It will help set your make up and last longer.
I have been using this product from the moment it came out and love it! It provides great coverage and lasts the day! It leaves my skin feeling great and doesn't make me look "caked". It also looks great with a powder over top!
This product was my go to foundation for so long, It has the perfect amount of coverage without looking cakey. It slides on flawlessly and you can gradually build up your coverage if you're wanting that full coverage look.
Tips: If you use it correctly, this foundation will last you a very long time. The coverage is perfect so you're not using as much product to make up for the lack of coverage. A little definitely goes a long way.
I am a faithful Revlon purchaser. I have used the PhotoReady and Colour Stay foundations and find that the PhotoReady suits daytime or summer application for me. Worth a try.
