Stila One Step Correct

I've noticed as my skin ages that I have developed areas of darkness with the faint start of red areas beside my nose. Never really worried too much but started to notice I was getting heavy handed with the concealer so wanted to add in a light colour corrector and seeing that this also is a primer it works as a double duty product which gets a massive tick for me, I am all for lesser build up of products on the face as it makes for the less likely event of caking.

Coming in a clear acrylic casing with a black lid and pump dispenser, it is fun to see how they have produced the 3 unique shades that are going to blend together on your face to blur out all those little imperfections that you want hidden. The green, lavender and peach shaded cream sit inside the clear container in a swirled fashion which makes this such an attractive piece of makeup to look at. Each colour has it's own part to play in achieving that flawless face.

The cream itself is very light and easily, quickly absorbs into your skin so you can just keep cracking on with your makeup application. There is a slight tackiness which you want with primers as they act like glue for your foundation. After using this primer a couple of times I have noticed that i don't reach for the concealer nearly as much as I used too.

Lasts all day and keeps your makeup fast and strong until the evening. Its a miracle in a bottle!!

Firstly, this is the primer for dry skin! I don't hear a lot about Stila as a brand, but when I was at Mecca the salesperson recommended this and after trying it had to have it.

This primer is different to any primers I've tried in the past. It's colour correcting, so it's a rainbow mix of 3 different colors. Very funky to look at. My skin can be slightly red in areas and it does work to slightly counteract the redness. But, the most important thing about this primer is it really does make my skin have the perfect base for my foundation.

I find the texture is so nice, and applies so smoothly to my skin. What I love about this is it just locks in moisture to my dry skin, better than other primers I've used in the past. It's just so moisturizing.

My skin can be reactive and sensitive, but this product is just perfect for my skin type.

After using this primer it absorbs well into my skin and really makes a difference to evening out my skin tone, so my makeup goes on well. It makes my foundation last longer, so it's a definite must for me.

It has surpassed other primers that's for sure! (Goodbye Smashbox..) I can't wait to try more Stila products. This one is a winner.

I've just started on a new makeup journey, went to MECCA for a lesson and this was one of the most important products the artist recommended. When we put it on, WOW , it's like photoshop for my skin. I felt like it also held my foundation on for the entire day - even in the middle of Summer at a wedding! It's really great, however I feel like it won't last long, not much product for money value. We will see...

This is my holy grail primer!! I have quite dry sensitive skin and also some redness - so I need a primer that can work with all of that! I find that this works so well with my skin and sits well under any foundation I use. I like the packaging- I especially like the see-through tube! I love being able to see how much product I have left and the way the product is swirled is so pretty! I like that each colour comes out with each pump as well. The size of the cylinder is also easy to pack and take away and easy to hold. The pump is really easy to use- it's not too stiff so super easy to control the amount of product that comes out. The texture of this is really nice – really creamy and smooth, but also light! It spreads really easily over my skin and feels so lightweight. It also feels moisturizing and does not cling to my dry spots. I find I don’t need a lot of product to cover my whole face as well. It does help to counteract my redness (it does not eliminate my redness though) and evens out my skin tone and brightens my skin before I apply my foundation. It has no smell, which I don’t mind! I find that this holds foundation really well- the foundation doesn’t separate or flake/show my dry patches. My foundation usually lasts all day and does not dry out throughout the day! It still looks fresh at the end of the day. I always reach for this primer. It has become a staple in my routine! I will repurchase this, it is currently the only primer I will use!

Love, love, love this product, after never using a primer before and just slightly moisturizing I found my make up would be in bits by the end of the day! But not with this beauty, my makeup seriously lasts the day. Foundation application on stila is also smooth and easy, I apply stila let it sink in a bit and then buff my foundation on with ease. Not only that but after applying this, my skin not only feels good and hydrated but looks good, feels like it has its own natural glow - the redness on my cheeks has diminished and it overall just makes my skin look naturally alive. I would definitely recommend this product for any and everyone, it seriously does everything it says it would. If you are looking for a product to make your make up last, to make your skin naturally glow and to generally moisturize your skin. Then this is the product for you!

I really love this primer for something hydrating and to give my skin a bit of a "lift" but I don't feel like it "corrects" my skin as much as everyone else says! I find it offers a nice healthy hydrated glow, but doesn't even out complexion for me.

I’ve worked my way through a few pots of this primer. I have combination skin and a lot of redness. This sits beautifully on the skin and corrects colour and gives a glow. It provides a nice light base layer that evens out everything and the next layers don’t have so much work to do. It applies well with fingers. It works really well with a tinted moisturiser or under foundation. Lasts for ages even when you get addicted .

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G primer! it really does what it says it will do by correcting the pink flushes in your skin, is very hydrating and moisturising and the foundation slides on easily and stays longer!

This primer pretty much does everything for me.

The packaging is quite interesting. It comes in a small cardboard box which looks like it could possibly be recycled paper. The primer is in a clear plastic tube and it comes with a pump. What really catches the eye is the product itself, which comes in a swirl of different colours. It's very sleek. The only downfall is the size of the product, which appears to be a lot bigger online.

The consistency of the primer is very creamy, and one pump covers my entire face. I'm not too sure what each individual colour does but what I do know is that my face looks and feels amazing after using this. Basically, it counteracts the redness in my cheeks which I LOVE! Even with my heavier foundations I find it difficult to hide my redness, but this really does tone it down, not entirely, but just enough so that when I do apply my foundation, there;s no redness peeking through.

I also find that it smooths out my skin, making application of foundation easier and less patchy on my dry skin. I sometimes wear this on its own when I can't be bothered with makeup, and I find my skin looking very 'glowy'.

I heard so many bad reviews on this before I purchased, but I'm so glad I ignore them and purchased anyway because this is definitely a must-have primer for me!

This primer is fantastic at correcting Uneven skin tone, so good that I sometimes even use it just on its own! Quite moisturizing and makes foundation go on super smooth!! A little goes a looooong way with this product, which definitely makes it worth the price as it is quite expensive! Definitely recommend this primer, it is FANTASTIC!!!!!!
