I love this so much, I get such a dry nose and every foundation I put on really sticks to my nose and it looks awful! But as soon as I started using the e.l.f Mineral Infused Primer my nose has been so smooth! This Primer makes my foundation go on smooth and last longer!
Tips: I just finished this, and I hate the fact that you can't see how much is left, the container is quite weighty so I thought I had heaps left. If you buy this get two and buy a new one when the first one runs out, it seriously sucks not having any.
Using this feels like your massaging liquid silk right into your face, seriously! Its so incredibly smooth and silky soft that youl look forward to using it each and every morning. It creates a super-smooth canvas for your make-up. Im not sure that it makes your make-up last longer than usual but I do love how it prepares your face for easy and even application.
I honestly love this primer. It's a gel like formula which glides onto your skin and instantly makes it feel so much smoother. I had the purple toned one and it made my skin more radiant. This stuff really does make your foundation glide on smoothly and last longer. I refuse to purchase any other brand now!
Tips: Let it dry for a few minutes before applying your foundation :)
I have previously used a couple of high end primers (smashbox and napoleon perdis) so was a little sceptical about a $6 primer.. But after hearing great things I decided to try it! Only a small amount needed, very easy to apply, sets quickly and foundation lasts great and goes on so smoothly. Very comparable to expensive primers. Success!!
Tips: Wait a few minutes for it to set before applying foundation.
So smooth, and silky. A little goes along way. Probably wouldn't use it again though as my face is smooth enough and my makeup look lasted longer on the days i didnt wear it than on the days i did.
feels amazing, I have tried many primers and haven't found many I have been impressed with, so far this is one of the top 3, definitely worth it for the price
Ive been using this primer for a week now and I have noticed the difference in my foundation at the end of the day.
It no longer has the flaky look where my skin has a tendency to get dry.
It goes on so smoothly it feels like a powder on your skin, the downside of being clear is its hard to tell where its been applied.
For price its great and I use it every day but for special occasions where I really want my skin to stand out I think there is better but they of course come with a price.
Tips: Only use a small amount
I have been using this primer for about three weeks now and i love it. Previously I was using benefits professional. I personally think the elf mineral infused primer is quite similar in texture and feel, and it provided the same staying power when I had my foundation applied on top as the benefits porefessional primer. Because of how much cheaper the elf primer is I will be repurchasing it over benefits professional.
I have to admit that I haven't been using primers for that long, maybe the last 6-8 months so I have only tried a few cheaper versions of it so I don't have much to compare it too. This goes on easily, and gives my face a silky finish. I don't think it does much with my pores and I don't think it helps much with staying power either. BUT I do get a decent finish after using this product and that is the main thing. It is cheap and reliable, I will continue to use this and will repurchase. They also have a green based primer which I would love to have a go with too.
Tips: you don't need a lot of product, so start with a pump or two and go from there. I've also learnt that if you look underneath it, you can sort of tell how much product is left in it. Took me till I'd almost finished before I worked that one out!
