I received this product as part of a beauty gift pack that I received for my birthday :)..
I really like the packaging of this product, a solid & smart looking glass container with a push pump top. I like the fact that the glass container is transparent, good to know how much is left..
The consistency is quite thick, the way that it looks and applies kinda reminds me of sunscreen..
I really like this primer, I usually wear it over my regular everyday serums/moisturisers to give my face a slight matte glow, and it helps to even my skin tone.
I see here mentioned in a previous review that this primer affects the color tone of foundation, this I find to be true. But this is something that works for me personally as I often struggle to match a foundation to my skin tone and if I've got a foundation that's a tad too dark, then this primer is perfect for under application to lighten it up.
I suspect that this primer might not be suitable for darker or very pale skin tones as it does have a bit of a whitening/lightening affect on the skin, for this reason I wouldn't recommend but hey it works for me.
I bought this primer as I always use one and needed a new one. This caught my eye with the term 'brightening'. So I paid my money and eagerly awaited the next morning to try this.
I applied as per the instructions and went about the rest of my make up routine.
I kept an eye on my complexion throughout the day but alas, I noticed not a bit of difference. Not one bit of brightening.
I carried on using this primer, as I thought I may as well use it up, it felt nice on my skin and sat well under my make up so as far as that goes it was good, however no 'brightening effect.
All was going ok until I reached nearly the end of the bottle. I could see the primer left in the bottom of the bottle but the pump couldn't get to it. I was annoyed at this because there was a really good amount of product left in the bottle but I could not get to it. The lid do not unscrew either.
So, this is a fail from me. I will not purchase again
