Australis Ready Set Finishing Powder

I'm in love with this product! it is really finely milled, applies translucent and leaves your skin looking flawless in photographs. The packaging is just a screw top jar with a sieve between the product and lid, not exactly top of the line but it does do the job and I've had little to no issue with spillage or product waste, just make sure you keep the jar upright when opening. I've found this powder applies to a nice smooth finish with very little effort, it blends out amazingly and doesn't leave a powdery looking layer. I've only just come to the end of mine after over a year of use 2-4 times weekly so for $15 you can't go wrong!

The one con I do have is that it can make your skin look a little more pale, this is fine for me as I'm very fair skinned and always contour/bronze but for darker skin you may want to test it first.

This translucent powder works well to set my foundation helping it last longer and to reduce oiliness. This power is nice and lightweight but it does leave my face looking slightly whiter. This would not be my first choice but it's not bad for the price.

This is my next pick after the Mac setting powder. What I love about this is it's natural looking and very subtle unlike some setting powders that sit on top of makeup and make you look like a ghost. I like this a lot as it does what you want it to and doesn't have the massive price tag attached to it. It can be messy as it is a loose powder but with a good brush this is not really a problem!

First finishing powder I've used and it does the job. I was skeptical before buying this but after the first use, I noticed that it softened my face, making my skin look soft and flawless and I had a nice glow. This product is great for removing shiny finishes after liquid foundation and mattifying my face. I love it. Only con is that the holes seem really big and too much product tends to come out, so I have to be very careful how I store it. Not that great for travelling as powder is so fine, it will get everywhere.

This is the only finishing powder that I have used before. I like that it is translucent so you don't have to worry about making your face look too dark and you don't have you worry about finding the right shade. After using this product I found that it made my skin feel and appear smoother. It evened out my foundation if there were any streaks or unevenness. It set my foundation and it made it stay on for longer. The price is really good and cheap for what it is- it is well worth your money.

Finest powder i have ever tested. Work wonderful that control oil really well, i still need to reapply on my t zone though. However i find its too white when over apply that make my skin pale and lifeless. Would not buy it again overall.

For the price it's a pretty good powder, sets foundation nicely, goes on smoothly, leaves the skin looking smoother and not so oily. I don't think it does EVERYTHING it is claimed to do but if you go in with reasonable expectations you won't be disappointed.

I will say this I don't really like the texture of it, personally, and it is also messy to put on and the lid drives me BATTY trying to get it screwed on straight.

This is great for setting foundation/bb cream when you don't want it to look obvious or powdery, just really natural and not too shiny.

As a loose powder, it can be a bit messy, but it's not hard to apply, just tap off the excess product and pat onto the face with a fluffy powder brush. It lasts for a good while on my normal/combo skin, I just touch up my T-zone after about 5ish hours which is fine with me!

However, you do need to use this VERY sparingly, otherwise it leaves your face looking a little bit pale and ashy, which is a shame. Not a big deal in some ways, but something to be aware of, and something which shouldn't be an issue with a truly translucent powder!

I actually really like this! it makes my makeup last all day or night without that annoying white overcast that many translucent powders leave. I also use it in my SPFX work to set liquid latex so i can paint over it and it works a charm

I dont actually use this as a finishing powder instead I use it on days when I dont feel like wearing make up and I want to get rid of some shine on my face. It works perfectly! gets rid of the oiliness and gives me a flawless look
